Članak donosi rezultate istraživanja radova venecijanskog slikara Nicole Grassija (1682.-1748.) u Hrvatskoj, potaknutog dovršetkom konzervatorsko-restauratorskih radova i revalorizacijom slike ...Navještenje sa svecima iz Katedralne riznice u Krku. U uvodnom dijelu skiciraju se obilježja Grassijeva rokoko slikarstva te recepcija slikara u povijesti umjetnosti 20. stoljeća. Pregled fortune critice za ciklus iz Trogira te pojedinačnih radova iz Hvara i Osora, autorica dopunjuje novim zapažanjima njihovih likovnih i stilskih obilježja te podacima o naručiteljima. Preciziran je kronološki okvir za Grassijeve slike trogirskih benediktinki te je dano novo ikonografsko tumačenje sveca na platnu iz zbirke hvarskih franjevaca. Tumačenje novije povijesti krčke slike i posljedica prekrajanja formata dopunjeno je podacima o naručiteljskom kontekstu u Krku i detaljnijom analizom njezinih likovnih značajki. Dosada neobjavljena slika sv. Katarine Aleksandrijske iz župne crkve u Sotu na nekadašnjem iločkom posjedu knezova Odescalchi, proširuje krug Grassijevih naručitelja i na onodobna rubna područja Habsburške Monarhije.
Metamorphic rocks of the Osor Complex (NE Iberian peninsula) show quartz-rich gneissic semi-pelitic, and quartz-absent, mica-rich, schistose domains that have been related to the effects of ...infiltration of a magmatic fluid evolved during cooling of syntectonic peraluminous leucogranites and pegmatites. The infiltrating fluid became progressively alkali-rich through leaching of these elements from the enclosing metamorphic rocks as it became progressively focused in developing micaceous, high-strain domains subparallel to the main crenulation cleavage. The flux took place around the peak of the HT-LP metamorphism during nearly isobaric heating followed by initially nearly isobaric cooling evolving towards decompressional cooling. Channels of focused flow became the loci of late- to post-tectonic Na-rich plagioclase, muscovite and biotite growth. The growth of the alkali-rich phases promoted further weakening of the domains that continued to be zones of high-strain during a late extension coeval with cooling and decompression.
Progressive homogenization of previous growth zoning patterns in garnets of the HT/LP sillimanite zone of the Osor Complex (NE Iberian Peninsula) is interpreted as the product of intracrystalline ...diffusional processes plus the operation of open system reactions coupled to fluid flow. The infiltrated fluid evolved during syn-tectonic emplacement and crystallization of two-mica peraluminous leucogranitoid sheets. The flow began in a more or less pervasive regime, then the fluid phase became progressively saturated in Si and K-Na species as well as progressively focused along schistose domains subparallel to the developing crenulation cleavage planes. A sequence of open system processes related to this fluid flow took place along the schistose domains syn- to late-tectonically: quartz leaching and further deposition in veins, extreme fibrolitization, muscovite+high Na/Ca plagioclase+biotite blastesis and homogenization of previous garnet growth zoning profiles. Notably the growth profiles have been preserved only in the less permeable quartz-rich, muscovite and plagioclase poor, semi-pelitic geissic domains.

geološke pojave kojima je želio potkrijepiti određene znanstvene teorije, a pribilježio je i
zapažanja o otočkoj privredi te načinu života i običajima tamošnjih stanovnika. U Italiji se
u drugoj polovici osamnaestog stoljeća vode žive rasprave o jeziku znanstvenih tekstova.
Tradicionalnim složenim i perifrastičnim formama literarnoga podrijetla suprotstavlja se ekonomičnost i izravnost francuske proze. U članku se na odabranim primjerima Fortisova
putopisa ispituje u kojoj je mjeri taj pobornik „moderniteta“ i reformist na intelektualnom
i društvenom planu jezičnim ustrojstvom svojega teksta ostvario odgovarajuća inovativna
načela, a koliko je ostao dužnikom svoje tradicionalno impostirane naobrazbe i sredine
u kojoj se kretao u svojima ranim godinama.
