This open access book is the product of an international study which offers a state-of-the-art summary of mathematics teacher collaboration with respect to theory, research, practice, and policy. The ...authors – leading researchers and teachers on mathematics teacher collaboration – represent a wide range of countries and cultures. Chapters explore the various forms of teacher collaboration; the diversity of settings and groupings in which mathematics teacher collaboration occurs; the tools and resources that support mathematics teacher collaboration and are the product of collaboration; and the breadth of outcomes of such collaboration. Teachers’ experiences and learning in collaborative settings are represented through their own voices as well as the voices of researchers. Forms and outcomes of collaboration are considered through a variety of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches. The authors reflect on the policy implications of this work and suggest new directions of research that take into account contextual, cultural, national and political dimensions that impact teachers’ work and learning through collaboration. The book is a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers who are interested in the power of teacher collaboration, and its history and potential for promoting educational innovations and equitable experiences for all teachers and learners.
Colorado State University Libraries has partnered with the university’s Franklin A. Graybill Statistics and Data Science Laboratory to jointly offer workshops teaching R coding for academic research, ...while employing Statistics graduate students as instructors. This partnership has capitalized on the strengths of both units and has provided an opportunity to build campus relationships. The development, assessment, challenges, benefits, and evolution of this fruitful and ongoing collaboration are described with the intent that this information may assist in the creation or enhancement of services at other institutions.
Collaboration provides an opportunity to address issues more comprehensively than what is possibleby individuals or groups in isolation. Large-scale collaborations, such as those occurring within ...anetwork of institutions, can present immense opportunities to solve problems that transcend the localnuances of individual institutions. As we have been reflecting on the experience of collaboration, wewondered—what is the glue that can hold together an intricate web of relationships to meet sharedgoals or address various challenges? In this column, we draw on four levels of interorganizationalcollaboration (Schruijer 2021) to assist with organizing and capturing our lived experiences, to centerand celebrate the humanity at the core of data curation.
Notre recherche porte sur la gouvernance en Afrique dans un contexte de réseau d’action publique locale. L’intérêt est donné à la prise de décision collective avec participation de multiples parties ...prenantes. Nous élaborons un cadre théorique intégrateur permettant d’identifier les attributs des parties intéressées influençant la décision collective, et cela, à partir d’une revue de littérature. Dans la partie empirique, nous opérons une étude de cas dans trois communes de la ville d’Alger. Nos résultats permettent une redéfinition des attributs des parties intéressées expliquant leurs influences sur les délibérations.

En distinguant un Bâ collaboratif spécifique, nous rendons compte de la réflexivité suscitée et des interactions de savoirs différenciés propices à la création de nouvelles connaissances et pratiques organisationnelles.
