Cilj je rada identificirati razinu digitalne zrelosti učeničkih domova u Republici Hrvatskoj te dati smjernice za unaprjeđenje razine njihove digitalne zrelosti. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku ...od N=59 svih ravnatelja/ravnateljica javnih učeničkih domova jer je jednako toliko registriranih i javno dostupnih učeničkih domova u Republici Hrvatskoj. Dobiveni uzorak je 40 sudionika pa se istraživanje smatra reprezentativnim. Rezultati istra živanja pokazali su da učenički domovi nemaju ujednačeno poslovanje po pitanju e-poslovanja na nacionalnoj razini, da je potrebno jačati generičke e-kompetencije zaposlenika, podizati kvalitetnu infrastrukturu na nacionalnoj razini te da domovi u svome poslovanju ne prate Državni pedagoški standard srednjoškolskog sustava odgoja i obrazovanja. Uočeno je i da je neophodno zakonsko oformljivanje točne baze podataka svih vrsta učeničkih domova (privatnih i javnih) u Republici Hrvatskoj da bi se dobio točan podatak. Radom se osvješćuje postojeća situacija te potiče način otklanjanja postojećih problema.
The aim of the paper is to identify the level of digital maturity of student dormitories in the Republic of Croatia and to provide guidelines for improving the level of their digital maturity. The research was conducted on a sample of N=59 of all high school principals, as there are the same number of registered and publicly accessible high school dormitories in the Republic of Croatia. The obtained sample consists of 40,which is considered representative for the research. The results of the research show the lack of a uniform practice in high school dormitories in terms of e-business at the national level, the necessity of strengthening the generic e-competencies of employees and raising quality infrastructure at the national level, as well as the fact that the dormitories do not follow the given Standard. Additionally, there is a need for the legal establishment of an accurate database encompassing all types of dormitories, both private and public, in Croatia, to ensure precise data collection. The paper raises awareness of the existing situation and encourages ways to eliminate existing problems.
Učenički domovi i domske ustanove socijalne skrbi predstavljaju odgojni kontekst u kojemu se nalaze određene skupine mladih. U suvremenom društvu krize odgoja potrebno je osnaživati mlade da budu ...autonomni i participativni članovi zajednice. Temeljno istraživačko pitanje rada glasi: postoje li i kako se manifestiraju pedagoški aspekti osnaživanja u kontekstu domskog odgoja? Cilj rada je utvrditi odrednice odgoja i osnaživanja mladih uvidom u njihove zajedničke karakteristike te naglasiti važnost odgojnog rada u domskom okruženju. Radom se ukazuje na to da osnaživanje predstavlja bitan i neizostavan proces u odgoju mladih, osobito unutar različitih oblika domskog okruženja, s ciljem razvijanja njihove daljnje autonomije i participacije u zajednici.
Student dorminatory and institutions such as dormitories in the social welfare system represent the educational contexts in which certain groups of young people find themselves. In the education crisis of the modern society, it is necessary to empower young people to be autonomous and participative members of the society. The research question of this paper is: What are the pedagogical aspects of empowerment and how are they manifested in the context of the education taking place in dormitories? The objective of this work is to determine the markers of education and empowerment of young people by observing their common characteristics and to emphasize the importance of educational work in the dormitory environment. The results of the research indicate that empowerment is an important and indispensable process in the upbringing of young people, especially within different forms of dormitory environment, with the aim of developing their further autonomy and participation in the community.
Demografski podatki in podatki o razpoložljivosti kapacitet domov starejših občanov (DSO) v Sloveniji nakazujejo potrebo po spremembi organiziranosti tega segmenta varstva. V prispevku smo se ...osredotočili na analizo in vrednotenje stanja urejenosti in dostopnosti zelenih površin ter storitev splošnega pomena v majhnih mestih z vidika potreb starejših prebivalcev, ki svojo starost preživljajo v DSO. Hkrati smo ocenili možnosti za dejansko uporabo zelenih površin te skupine prebivalstva. Ugotovili smo, da v Sloveniji potrebujemo temeljite sistemske spremembe na področju institucionalnega varstva starejših občanov, tudi na področju zagotavljanja, urejenosti in uporabe zelenih površin ob DSO.
Preseljevanje s podeželja v mesta povzroča propadanje podeželja in prenapolnjenost mest. Glavno vprašanje, ki se pojavlja v zvezi s tem, je, kako se lahko mesta izognejo tej usodi in prestrežejo ...migrante na poti v mesta v iskanju boljših priložnosti. Razvoj turizma lahko ima osrednjo vlogo v razvoju podeželskih območij v Republiki Južna Afrika, in mesto Clarens je primer zgodbe o uspehu na tem področju. Avtorica v članku raziskuje, zakaj je turističnemu mestu, kot je Clarens, uspelo, drugim podobnim mestom pa ne. Podatki so bili zbrani s tremi vprašalniki za tri različne ciljne skupine, kar je omogočilo, da je bil v raziskavo vključen širok spekter déležnikov v turističnem miljeju Clarensa. Izsledki raziskave kažejo, da je pri spuščanju multinacionalk v majhna turistična mesta potrebna pazljivost, saj lahko te pokvarijo tamkajšnje vzdušje.
Predstavljamo raziskavo o mnenju stanovalcev domov za starejše o izobraževanju na kulturno-umetniškem področju. V raziskavi nas je uvodoma zanimalo, kakšno je mnenje o pomenu izobraževanja na ...kulturno-umetniškem področju, v nadaljevanju pa smo posebno pozornost namenili ugotavljanju obstoja razlik v mnenju o pomembnosti izobraževanja na kulturno-umetniškem področju glede na spol, najvišjo stopnjo pridobljene izobrazbe, izvorno okolje in starost. Raziskovalni vzorec je vključeval 77 udeležencev, ki bivajo v domovih za starejše v Mariboru. Izsledki raziskave kažejo, da se velika večina starejših oseb zaveda pomena izobraževanja na kulturno-umetniškem področju. Ob tem se je izkazalo, da moški in osebe z višjo stopnjo izobrazbe izobraževanju na kulturno-umetniškem področju pripisujejo večji pomen kot ženske in tisti z nižjo stopnjo izobrazbe, medtem ko pri kategorijah izvorno okolje in starost ni bilo zaznati večjih razlik. Pridobljene ugotovitve lahko služijo kot smernice za nadaljnje načrtovanje in raziskovanje izobraževanja na kulturno-umetniškem področju pri starejših osebah, ki bivajo v domovih.
This paper analyzes the topic of mental health, more specifically the exam anxiety of pupils that stay in student dorms and its perception from the perspective of their professors-educators. ...Examination anxiety is common in situations when displaying knowledge, skills, or public presentation is present, especially when this is subject to others' evaluation. When low or moderate, exam anxiety can be encouraging and motivating, whereas high levels of exam anxiety may become paralyzing and prevent a successful outcome of the exam. If this situation happens on a recurring basis, it causes the inability for the pupil to achieve educational goals, which in turn becomes frustrating and stressful to them. This can have a negative impact on their mental health. Results of this online research conducted throughout student dorms across Croatia showcase that the majority of pupils go through moderate levels of exam anxiety, and that educators perceive higher levels of anxiety that the pupils reported. Results also showcase the qualitative data about the most common physical and emotional changes pupils go through, thoughts they experience during exams, and their likelihood to look for help from educators.
Rad razmatra temu problema mentalnog zdravlja, odnosno ispitne tjeskobe kod učenika koji borave u učeničkim domovima i njihovu percepciju od strane profesora odgojitelja. Ispitna tjeskoba uobičajena je pojava u situacijama u kojima je potrebno iskazati znanje ili vještine te se prezentirati pred drugima, osobito kada druge osobe procjenjuju uradak. U
niskim ili umjerenim razinama ispitna tjeskoba djeluje poticajno i motivira osobu na ulaganje truda u postignuće, dok u visokim razinama djeluje paralizirajuće i često „zakoči“ osobu što dovodi do izostanka odgovarajućeg uspjeha u ispitnoj situaciji. Ako se situacija u kojoj ispitna tjeskoba značajno onemogući postignuće na ispitu višekratno ponovi, dolazi do nemogućnosti ostvarivanja obrazovnih ciljeva što pojedinca dovodi u stanje frustracije pa i stresa, a to nije dobra prognoza za njegovo mentalno zdravlje. Rezultati provedenog online istraživanja, koje je provedeno u učeničkim domovima diljem Hrvatske, ukazuju da većina učenika doživljava umjerene razine ispitne tjeskobe, ali i da odgajatelji percipiraju veće razine tjeskobe kod učenika nego što oni sami o njima izvještavaju. Također su kvalitativno prikazane najčešće tjelesne i emocionalne promjene kod učenika, misli koje ih prate tijekom ispita te sklonost traženju pomoći od strane odgojitelja.
Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Problem der psychischen Gesundheit, bzw. der Prüfungsangst bei Schülern, die in Schülerwohnheimen wohnen, und ihrer Wahrnehmung durch ihre Lehrer und Erzieher. Prüfungsangst ist eine häufige Erscheinung in Situationen, in denen man seine Kenntnisse oder Fertigkeiten vor anderen zu Beweis stellen und präsentieren muss, besonders wenn die Anderen diese Leistung bewerten. Geringe oder mäßige Prüfungsangst stimuliert und motiviert die Person, sich anzustrengen, während starke Prüfungsangst lähmend wirkt und die Person oft „bremst“, was zu einem Ausbleiben des Erfolgs in der Testsituation führt. Wenn sich die Situation, in der die Prüfungsangst die Durchführung der Prüfung wesentlich erschwert, wiederholt, können die Bildungsziele nicht
erreicht werden, was zur Frustration und Stress führt und keine gute Prognose für die psychische Gesundheit darstellt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Online-Studie, die in Schülerwohnheimen in ganz Kroatien durchgeführt wurde, zeigen, dass die meisten Schüler eine mäßige Prüfungsangst erleben, aber auch, dass die pädagogischen Fachkrüfte bei den Schülern ein höheres Maß an Angst wahrnehmen, als diese selbst berichten. Außerdem werden die häufigsten körperlichen und emotionalen Veränderungen der Schüler, die Gedanken, die sie während der Prüfung begleiten und die Neigung, Erzieher um Hilfe zu fragen, qualitativ dargestellt.
Elderly dehydration and malnutrition are very common types of elder abuse and neglect in nursing homes. Malnutrition and dehydration of the elderly in nursing homes are two of the most common health ...problems faced by users. They are also a leading sign of neglect and inadequate care and are often the result of negligence. It is the responsibility of the home staff to provide their users with adequate food and fluid. Staff and administrators have a legal responsibility to take reasonable care of the safety and well-being of their users and others who come to the facility. Part of this is the duty to provide adequate food and water to the users to avoid malnutrition and dehydration. In most cases, proper nutrition and hydration involves developing a diet plan and schedule to meet the individual needs of each patient. This includes considering any physical or mental health issues a patient may have, as well as any nutritional needs of that patient. Failure to meet these needs can be considered negligence or transgression. The risk of developing these conditions is much higher in the elderly, as well as the serious side effects as a result. It is therefore crucial that the staff of the establishment is appropriately trained to predict whether the beneficiary is malnourished or dehydrated. Rad se bavi ulogom medija u društvu te važnošću profesionalnoga izvještavanja i odgoja za medije, posebice u kontekstu djece i zaštite dječjih prava. Humanitarne akcije namijenjene djeci česta su ...tema u medijima, no paradoks je da su djeca i njihove potrebe, kao i njihova prava, posebice parvo na privatnost i izražavanje mišljenja, marginalizirani. Na javnost se često apelira putem medija kroz humanitarne akcije te se izazivanjem snažnih i krajnjih emocija potiče na pomoć. Nerijetko je baš u takvim slučajevima dijete kao glavni subjekt humanitarne akcije ogoljeno te je njegova intima dostupna svima, često pod argumentom da je sve što je u interesu javnosti opravdano. Cilj je rada, pregledom dosadašnjih spoznaja, ukazati na važnost zaštite djece kao najosjetljivije skupine društva i dječjih prava u prosocijalnim sadržajima kao što su humanitarne akcije. Rad će dati i pregled stanja prikazivanja humanitarnih akcija za pomoć djeci u afričkim zemljama.
The author writes about the role of the media in society, the importance of media ethics and media education, especially in the context of children and the protection of children’s rights. Humanitarian actions aimed at children in need are a frequent topic in the media, but, paradoxically, children and their needs as well as their rights, especially the right to privacy and the right to expression of opinion, are marginalised. The media often appeal to the audience to take part in extending aid through humanitarian actions and by stimulating extreme emotions among members of the audience. It often occurs in such cases that a child, as the main subject of a humanitarian action, gets overly exposed, his/her intimacy thus being accessible to everyone. Such phenomena are often accounted for by the argument that anything being done in the public interest is justified. The aim of this paper is to outline the importance of protecting children as the most vulnerable group of society and children’s rights in prosocial media content such as humanitarian actions. The paper also provides an overview of the status of reporting on humanitarian actions aimed to help children in African countries.
