Adventure Time fan encyclopedists cataloged the show's final eighty-three episodes on Wikipedia and the Adventure Time Wiki in different ways: the former favored a division handed down by Cartoon ...Network, whereas the latter favored a division in line with what the show's production crew had intended. Conflicts like this occur when editors disagree about who is the official producer of a text, a perception that is usually grounded in the epistemology of the fan archive. In considering this divide, the essay aims to build upon Ludi Price's 2017 model of fan information behavior by showing that the category of producer is more complex than many might initially assume.
•3917 and 3966 MFGM proteins were identified in PC and PM milk.•3807 common MFGM proteins were found in both groups.•303 significant differentially expressed MFGM proteins were identified.
Milk fat ...globule membrane (MFGM) proteins are nutritional components with various biological functions. This study aimed to analyze and compare MFGM proteins in porcine colostrum (PC) and porcine mature milk (PM), via label-free quantitative proteomics. In total, 3917 and 3966 MFGM proteins were identified in PC and PM milk, respectively. A total of 3807 common MFGM proteins were found in both groups, including 303 significant differentially expressed MFGM proteins. Gene Ontology (GO) analysis revealed that the differentially expressed MFGM proteins were mainly related to the cellular process, cell, and binding. The dominant pathway of the differentially expressed MFGM proteins was related to the phagosome according to Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis. These results reveal crucial insights into the functional diversity of MFGM proteins in porcine milk during lactation and provide theoretical guidance for the development of MFGM proteins in the future.
The scientific article is devoted to the study of the characteristic features of the development of archaeological content on the pages of the 6-volume "Tatar Encyclopedia" in Russian and Tatar ...languages. In it, along with a brief illustration of the history of the formation and development of archaeological research in the territory of modern Tatarstan, the conceptual and terminological content of the section «Archeology» of the «Tatar Encyclopedia» is considered in a statistical and rubricational context, and special attention is paid to the problem of personification of the names of archaeologists and numismatists on the pages of the encyclopedia. In addition, the article fragmentally analyzes the «Archaeological map of the Republic of Tatarstan» and «Archaeological monuments of the Tatar ASSR» in the context of using the materials of these reference publications when writing historical references for the section «Archeology» about ancient and medieval monuments of the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Tatarstan. At the same time, some critical judgments are expressed regarding the content level of a number of articles on the section «Archeology». The final part of the article talks about the socio-cultural significance of the development and publication of the illustrated encyclopedia «Archeology of Tatarstan». This encyclopedic publication will become a new form of systematization and generalization of archaeological materials about the material and spiritual culture of the peoples of Tatarstan, collected and published by the Russian historical and archaeological community for many decades.
Ferroptosis plays a key role in aggravating the progression of spinal cord injury (SCI), but the specific mechanism remains unknown. In this study, we constructed a rat model of T10 SCI using a ...modified Allen method. We identified 48, 44, and 27 ferroptosis genes that were differentially expressed at 1, 3, and 7 days after SCI induction. Compared with the sham group and other SCI subgroups, the subgroup at 1 day after SCI showed increased expression of the ferroptosis marker acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4 and the oxidative stress marker malondialdehyde in the injured spinal cord while glutathione in the injured spinal cord was lower. These findings with our bioinformatics results suggested that 1 day after SCI was the important period of ferroptosis progression. Bioinformatics analysis identified the following top ten hub ferroptosis genes in the subgroup at 1 day after SCI: STAT3, JUN, TLR4, ATF3, HMOX1, MAPK1, MAPK9, PTGS2, VEGFA, and RELA. Real-time polymerase chain reaction on rat spinal cord tissue confirmed that STAT3, JUN, TLR4, ATF3, HMOX1, PTGS2, and RELA mRNA levels were up-regulated and VEGFA, MAPK1 and MAPK9 mRNA levels were down-regulated. Ten potential compounds were predicted using the DSigDB database as potential drugs or molecules targeting ferroptosis to repair SCI. We also constructed a ferroptosis-related mRNA-miRNA-lncRNA network in SCI that included 66 lncRNAs, 10 miRNAs, and 12 genes. Our results help further the understanding of the mechanism underlying ferroptosis in SCI.
The Dayak Simpakng community in Batu Daya village, Simpang Dua sub-district, has knowledge of making plaits by utilizing plants in the surrounding environment. The introduction of woven plants to ...students needs to be done to preserve the knowledge and woven plants of the Dayak Simpang tribe. Encyclopaedias, as a reliable source of knowledge produced by experts and lexicographers, are, among other characteristics, known for their reliability, accuracy, and precision. The spatial ...representation of encyclopedic knowledge has in a way been used for a long time, such as in thematic maps, but the digital age has brought significantly expanded possibilities. However, in the absence of an established model for marking and displaying (geotagging) encyclopedic knowledge, few works make full use of such an approach. Creating such a model has some challenges. Locations names (of cities, streets, squares, etc.) can change over time, which can be a challenge when trying to do a complex search or display information on a map. In such cases, solutions are sought to reduce information to a common label, which is the principle of text regularisation (normalisation). The research was prompted by efforts to improve the online edition of the Croatian Encyclopedia of Technology by the Miroslav Krleža Institute of Lexicography on the Croatian Technical Heritage Portal. The authors analyse the current encyclopedic practice of recording place names that have changed over time, and consider which forms of recording best suit the specific, practical requirements of digital encyclopedic projects of today. Such a way of marking and displaying would increase the usability of encyclopedias because, along with providing information that is accurate, it would enable users to easily search, browse, and look up knowledge on a map.
