This study aims to describe the Implementation of Guidance and Counseling Service Management in Man 2 Aceh TamiangThis research method is descriptive qualitative using two data collection techniques: ...interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display, conclusions, and data verification. The results of the study show that the guidance and counseling service program in schools is prepared quite well, even though they develop a service implementation plan using a standard syllabus but the program implemented in the field is quite good. The guidance and counseling service program that has been implemented has referred to the BK 17 plus pattern program and its application is adjusted to the RPL that has been prepared by the guidance and counseling teacher. The implementation of guidance and counseling services at MAN 2 Aceh Tamiang has gone quite well.
CLASSICAL GUIDANCE SERVICES IMPACT PHUBBING IN CLASS VII STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 25 BANJARMASIN. The negative impact that is felt from the development of smart phones is the birth of phubbing behavior which means the act of ignoring others when interacting with social communication with more focus on paying attention to cellphones. Departing from these problems, it is necessary to provide classical guidance services on the effects of phubbing. What was done in SMPN 25 Banjarmasin was based on the request of partners, namely the SMPN 25 Banjarmasin guidance teacher based on the results of developing practical conditional information in the field. Implementation of classical guidance services. To find out the description of phubbing behavior in class VII students, the Generic Scale of Phubbing (GSP) instrument is used before and after service delivery. The results of the implementation of the service showed that this classical guidance service was successful in reducing students becoming phubbing actors. It is suggested that the implementation of classical guidance services can be a preliminary study for phubbing research.
This study aims to determine the Role of Class VI Teachers as Guidance and Counseling Service Implementers at State Elementary School 4 Sungai Andai Banjarmasin. The approach in this study uses a ...qualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. The method used in this study in collecting data is to use interview and documentation techniques. In this study, it was found that the sixth-grade teacher at Sungai Andai 4 Elementary School understood and understood his role as a a guidance and counseling teacher. But Grade VI teachers experience several obstacles in providing guidance and counseling services, namely facilities and infrastructure, academic and practical implementation of counseling guidance because they are not pure S1 Guidance and Counseling graduates. Efforts made by class VI teachers at Sungai Andai Elementary School to support the implementation of guidance and counseling services are by reading books and articles related to guidance and counseling services, in addition to the lack of knowledge in Guidance and Counseling management for Class VI teachers at Sungai Andai 4 Elementary School Banjarmasin. resulting in a lack of documents used in the BK administration, only one document that they made, namely a book listing student problem and the solutions provided by them.
En el contexto actual, surgen diversas necesidades por parte de los jóvenes, quienes requieren contar con la presencia de un tutor, que los apoye en su etapa de formación, inclusive a nivel superior. ...El objetivo de este estudio fue describir la competencia tutorial en los docentes tutores de una universidad nacional de Lima. Esta investigación corresponde a un enfoque mixto, con predominancia en lo cualitativo; de nivel descriptivo y de diseño de estudio de caso. La muestra estuvo conformada por 20 estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, además de 4 docentes tutores del tercer año de dicha facultad. Para el trabajo de campo, se aplicaron cuatro instrumentos: un cuestionario, dirigido a los estudiantes; dos guías de entrevista semiestructurada: una, dirigida a los docentes tutores y otra, a los alumnos; y una guía de análisis documental, dirigida al reglamento de la institución. Entre los resultados, destaca la inexistencia del rol del tutor desde la percepción del estudiantado, quienes manifestaron la necesidad de contar con un especialista que cumpla esta función. Además, la comunicación asertiva, el trabajo colaborativo y la resolución de conflictos son habilidades que forman parte de la competencia tutorial que no están adecuadamente desarrolladas en el profesorado que ejercen este rol. Asimismo, la influencia de las emociones surgió como categoría emergente asociada a la relación tutor-tutorado. En conclusión, la competencia tutorial no se ha formado efectivamente en los docentes que asumen el rol de tutores ni cumple con el perfil esperado por el alumnado.
This study aimed at elaborating the home room technique model through group guidance services and describing the role of the home room technique in gaining students' self-confidence. This research is ...descriptive qualitative design. The subjects of this study were ten students of class III-IPA at SMA Muhammadiyah Kalosi, Enrekang Regency. The researcher collected the data based on the result of observation, interview, and document review. The result of the current research indicated that student self-confidence increases after they are treated with the implementation of group guidance service using the home room technique.
Purpose
The current study investigated the relationships between demographic variables, cash benefits, vocational rehabilitation (VR) services, and employment outcomes of Asian Americans VR clients.
...Methods
The data were extracted from the most recent Rehabilitation Service Administration database (RSA‐911). Among 17,278 case services records, 5784 clients met the inclusion criteria. Chi‐square automatic interaction detector and logistic regression analyses were employed to investigate the employment outcomes.
Results
The results indicated that Asian American clients who have completed a bachelor's degree or more do not receive disability‐related benefits, and those who received more VR services were more likely to achieve competitive integrated employment (CIE). In addition, VR counseling and job placement services were significant predictors of employment outcomes.
Conclusions
These findings provide valuable insights into the factors influencing CIE among Asian American VR clients with disabilities. The results further underscore the importance of VR professionals possessing cultural competence to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
As a vocational school, SMK is required to prepare the students to be professional workers having high self-confidence. Unfortunately, there were still some students having low self-confidence. This ...could be identified from several phenomena such as: worried of facing examination, unconfident to ask questions, unwilling to express opinion, and unwilling to answer the questions addressed to. This research was designed for revealing the effectiveness of group guidance service to improve the students’ self-confidence.This was an experimental research which applied pretest and posttest control group design. By using purposive sampling technique, the students in class XI1 majoring in Official Administration of SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan was chosen as the experimental class, and class XI3 was taken as the control class. Each class consisted of 12 students. Group guidance service was given to the experimental group for six meetings. The data was collected through pretest and posttest. The data gained then was analyzed by using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Sample assisted with SPPSS version 17.The research findings showed that: (1) there was a significant difference between the students’ self-confidence in experimental group in pretest and posttest, (2) there was a difference between the students’ self-confidence in control group in pretest and posttest, and (3) there was a significance difference between the students’ self-confidence in experimental class and in control class in posttest.Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the students’ self-confidence could be improved through group guidance service. This research suggests the importance of increasing the use of group guidance service controlled by the teachers and counselors to improve the students’ self-confidence.

The study design using action research. Subjects in this study, researchers took VII.1 grade students of SMPN 1 Metro. With a sampel of 10 students from 30 students. The method used in collecting data by observation and field notes. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. The results of this study, it can be concluded that the results obtained through the implementation of group guidance to improve self regulated learning student. Increased self regulated learning learners in cycle I seen from the average percentage of 27.2% and in the second cycle of 75%, resulting in an increase in self regulated learning of 47.8%. Impact of the changes to learn and the ability of learners to understand the subject matter included planning, self monitoring, and self reflection/ evaluation in learning. Through group guidance services provided by the counseling teachers can improve learners' self-regulated learning VII.1 grade SMPN 1 Metro. The results showed that group guidance services can improve self-regulated learning in students. This research is directed to teachers of guidance and counseling in schools in order to use this group guidance services as one of the efforts to improve the self-learning of students.
RESUMEN El artículo aborda el tema del impacto del asesoramiento y el liderazgo intermedio en la mejora educativa de un contexto escolar. Se focaliza en el desempeño profesional de los servicios de ...apoyo escolar desde su posición estratégica como agentes de mejora y colegas críticos y desde modelos de conexión y colaborativos. Presenta un estudio de caso en una zona educativa que va mejorando significativamente. Se analiza el desempeño profesional de un líder intermedio a partir de la opinión de los interlocutores con los que trabaja. El estudio se desarrolló a lo largo de cuatro cursos académicos. Utiliza grupos de discusión y entrevistas en profundidad. Concluye que la asesoría colaborativa es posible y es valorada positivamente; y que el orientador tiene un rol relevante como líder intermedio.
