    本研究は,看護基礎教育において地域完結型看護を基軸に据えた教育的取り組みを強化したA大学の学生と,比較対象として同一県内にあり本取り組みの強化はしていないB大学・C大学の学生間で,地域完結型看護の理解と実践についての自己評価を比較検討することで,A大学における4年間の教育成果と他大学を含めた今後の看護基礎教育の課題を明らかにすることを目的とした。A,B,C大学に2015年度に入学した看護学生計252名を対象に,地域での暮らしを見据えた看護の理解と実践に関する自己評価を4件法で問う無記名自記式質問紙調査を行った。理解(15項目)については1年次および4年次,実践(12項目)については4年次に調査し,回答を「できる」とそれ以外の2群で比較しχ2検定および残差分析を行った。理解については1年次に有意差のみられなかった11項目のうちの6項目において,また,実践については4項目において,4年次に「できる」と回答した者の割合は,A大学が有意に高かった。3大学いずれも,「生活スキル」と「外来に訪れた対象者の生活を理解した看護」の自己評価が低かった。A大学における4年間の地域完結型看護を基軸に据えた看護基礎教育は成果があった。生活スキルの向上と外来患者の生活を理解した看護実践に対する教育を充実させることが今後の課題である。
