The both familiar and quite different aspect of the Occitan dialects can lead us to ask : "what makes the unity of this language?". Its current linguistic definition clearly explains its proximity to ...catalan, with which it forms an original subgroup of romance languages. But the features that specifically characterize the Occitan language are often not clearly presented. In this article we try to identify the features that make Occitan appear as a coherent and particular linguistic area, limiting ourself to phonetics and lexical aspects. We map these elements using data from all the linguistic atlases concerning the Occitan-speaking space and its surroundings. Establishing this knowledge about the unity and particularity of the Langue d'oc drives us to discuss our perception of this language and its variation, especially as actors in its revitalization.
El objeto de estudio de este trabajo es el conjunto de denominaciones que recibe la aguzanieves. Se parte de los detallados estudios de Mondéjar y Halling sobre este mismo objeto de estudio; sin ...embargo, a la luz de la nueva información que aportan los últimos atlas lingüísticos publicados, en este artículo se realiza una actualización de la información dialectal descrita a finales del siglo pasado por Mondéjar en sus trabajos sobre los nombres de la aguzanieves. La metodología de este trabajo tiene su base en los atlas lingüísticos españoles, que son la fuente principal de consulta; esta información extraída de los atlas sirve de punto de partida para un estudio lexicográfico, con el principal objetivo de hacer un recorrido histórico por las definiciones de los diccionarios de la Academia y mostrar, así, el devenir de estas entradas del Diccionario. A partir de las entradas y lematizaciones relacionadas con los nombres de la aguzanieves, se cotejan atlas y diccionarios y se muestran los cambios, correcciones y rectificaciones, fallos y aciertos, de esta obra lexicográfica.
In this paper I present an overview of the linguistic distance separating the Breton-speaking communities of western Brittany, France. This was achieved by applying a dialectometric approach ...dedicated to the quantitative analysis of dialectal data extracted from the Nouvel Atlas linguistique de la Basse-Bretagne. The literature confirms the degree to which geographical factors can have a strong influence on the distribution of dialectal features. In a previous article, I revealed that geographical parameters determine the level of linguistic similarity between small neighboring communities. In this paper, I seek to determine whether geographical factors apply also to the entire territory mapped by the NALBB. More specifically, I assess which geographical parameters contribute most to shaping linguistic similarity/distance and the extent to which these factors interact to create specific linguistic niches.
El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer una propuesta de clasificación dialectal del español de Colombia a partir del análisis dialectométrico de datos léxicos del Atlas Lingüístico-Etnográfico de ...Colombia (ALEC). El trabajo fue realizado con doscientos mapas léxicos del ALEC seleccionados aleato-riamente y procesados en el software de análisis dialectométrico Gabmap. La medida de similitud utilizada fue el Índice Relativo de Identidad (Goebl 1984) y la visualización fue realizada a partir del método de agru-pamiento difuso. Desde el análisis de los resultados, se propone la división del español de Colombia en tres superdialectos: andino centro-oriental, andino centro-occidental y costeño. Los superdialectos andinos se dividen en dialectos de norte a sur teniendo en cuenta el continuum dialectal en dialectos alto, medio y bajo, mientras que el costeño se diferencia entre Caribe y Pacífico. Por último, se presentan veintidós subdialectos corres-pondientes a regiones específicas del país con sus respectivos municipios.
В статье анализируются славянские наименования животных, образованные от человеческих имен и содержащиеся в первом томе «Общеславянского лингвистического атласа» «Животный мир». Характеризуются их ...производящие основы, первичные признаки номинации и географическая локализация. В частности, описываются названия таких представителей фауны, как божья коровка, светлячок, стрекоза, бабочка, улитка, ящерица, медведь и ласка. В большинстве случаев они мотивированы христианскими именами Иоанн, Мария, Петр, Павел, Лавр и др. Рассмотренный материал позволил предложить новые гипотезы о происхождении отдельных слов, чья внутренняя форма признается затемненной: это словен. martȋnček 'ящерица' и укр. ра́ влик, ла́ врик 'улитка'. Пространственное распределение исследуемых лексем наглядно показано на прилагаемых к статье картах-схемах, составленных на основе материалов «Общеславянского лингвистического атласа».
The paper deals with linguistic research in ANUBiH in two directions – the organization of work on linguistic examinations and the analysis of the titles published in publications of ANUBiH. The ...first part follows the work of the Department of Historical-Philological Sciences, later the Department of Social Sciences, then the Humanities, and the Commission for Linguistics and the Center for Lexicology and Lexicography, through their most important activities and projects, along with the work of the Balkanological Institute, later the Center for Balkanological Studies. The second part of the paper provides an overview of published linguistic texts. In the end, a bibliography of linguistic works published in ANUBiH is provided.
