In order to better improve the martial arts learning effect, this paper puts forward the design method of martial arts motion feedback system based on target intelligent tracking video processing. It ...optimizes the hardware configuration of the system, adds a composite tracker to the system, to effectively track the motion changes of different human targets, and further combines the real-time target intelligent tracking video processing technology. Build a moving target tracking model; then, based on the calculation of motion characteristic parameters, CRF method is used for motion behavior recognition and feedback. Measuring the data using smart PLS software and running different results included descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, model fitness analysis, and the smart PLS Algorithm model also describes that graphical analysis related to the variables. It is the expectation of the Chinese Government to achieve urban-rural integration and close the urban-rural divide by lowering health inequities and enhancing social connections at the same time. Given that involvement in sports may provide a variety of physical and mental advantages, as a manner of increasing possibilities for social connections, community provision plays an important part in this regard. The overall results found that there is positive and significant relationships in-between
This study aims to investigate the fear of sports psychology in the physical confrontation of Chinese Wushu athletes. This article profiles 40 Chinese students majoring in physical education, and ...social sports enrolled in a unique martial arts program. The age range is between 19 and 21. The causes of dread among 40 Sanda athletes were investigated using the research methodologies of literature data, interviews, and questionnaire survey. SPSS l4.0 statistical software was utilized to analyze the questionnaire data. Before two competitions following the experiment, students' psychological readiness was evaluated using a psychological exam. The length of the experiment was eighteen weeks. P<0.05 indicated a substantial difference between the test and control groups to aid Sanda athletes in actual fighting. Provide theoretical support for the psychology of fear. Fear of harm, actual battle experience, and insufficient physical reserve are the causes of the fear of psychology in athletes, which can be overcome through a simulation-based training strategy. The management should develop the special sports quality of sanda athletes, rationalize combat and combat training, enhance technical and tactical skills, and bolster psychological training.
As part of a larger study dedicated to identifying speech and language biomarkers of neurological decline associated with repetitive head injury (RHI) in professional boxers and mixed martial artists ...(MMAs), we examined articulation rate, pausing, and disfluency in passages read aloud by participants in the Professional Athletes Brain Health Study.
A large outpatient medical center specializing in neurological care.
Passages read aloud by 60 boxers, 40 MMAs, and 55 controls were acoustically analyzed to determine articulation rate (the number of syllables produced per second), number and duration of pauses, and number and duration of disfluencies in this observational study.
Both boxers and MMAs differed from controls in articulation rate, producing syllables at a slower rate than controls by nearly half a syllable per second on average. Boxers produced significantly more pauses and disfluencies in passages read aloud than MMAs and controls.
Slower articulation rate in both boxers and MMA fighters compared with individuals with no history of RHI and the increased occurrence of pauses and disfluencies in the speech of boxers suggest changes in speech motor behavior that may relate to RHI. These speech characteristics can be measured in everyday speaking conditions and by automatic recognition systems, so they have the potential to serve as effective, noninvasive clinical indicators for RHI-associated neurological decline.
Sports tourism is generally regarded as a new growth point for economic development, and is gradually becoming a new way of life and leisure for people. Wushu course is a basic content in physical education teaching in colleges and universities. The teaching content of Wushu course is mainly routine teaching. Because Wushu routine is composed of many ...individual movements, the direction, route, rhythm and body posture are complicated and different from the students’ daily activities and other sports teaching materials, many students feel that Wushu is “difficult to learn” and “forget quickly “. In order to overcome the phenomena of “difficult to teach “,” difficult to learn” and “forget quickly “, we must deeply study the teaching methods in order to improve the teaching effect of martial arts. Demonstration teaching method is the main teaching method used in Wushu teaching, and it is also one of the effective ways to improve the teaching effect of Wushu. As multimedia teaching is more and more used in teaching, demonstration teaching method also has more new teaching methods. 1 This paper analyzes the effect of martial arts teachers in the teaching process through the experimental study of three classes in the martial arts curriculum of physical education major in Dehong Teachers College. In order to study the teaching effect of different intuitive teaching methods in martial arts class.
The main objective of this study is to propose a graduation scale to evaluate Kempo athletes. PKT intends to be a system analysis of physical condition, respecting the ecological dimension of kempo ...sport, developed in a time frame (duration of assaults) which includes strength training, speed, reaction and technique testing the athlete's endurance for combat., in "Light" fight, "Full" and "Knock-down", with three to five minutes in two rounds with a minute break between them. PKT conception is based on the characteristics of this fighting sport, predicting a level of effort in a 3 minutes combat, of 2 rounds, with 1 minute of rest.
We aimed to compare the change in exercise response to taekwondo-specific circuit workouts before and after competition rule amendments. A total of 240 workouts in 15 elite athletes were analyzed ...over two years. Physiological and kinematic data were gathered with the wireless Bioharness system along with capillary blood samples for lactate concentration. Progressive exercise tests until exhaustion were periodically performed to obtain reference data. The rule changes resulted in significant increases (mainly medium or large effects) in the physiological (2.9-14.4%) and kinematic (4.8-10.1%) response to taekwondo-specific workouts. The largest increases were for peak breathing rate (12.0%), energy expenditure (6.6%), blood lactate immediately after exercise (10.2%) and at the 30th min of recovery (14.4%), and peak kinematic activity (10.1%). Significant differences between taekwondo-specific workouts and tournament combats persisted after the shift from old to new rules, ranging from 2.4 to 38.5% for physiological and from 2.9 to 15.5% for kinematic variables. The largest workout-combat differences were revealed for post-exercise (15.9%) and recovery (38.5%) blood lactate, peak (-15.8%) and relative (-15.0%) breathing rate, and mechanical (13.5%) and physiological (14.2%) intensity. Our study suggests that the rule amendments significantly modify the exercise response to discipline-specific workouts and that taekwondo-specific training sessions do not fully recreate the tournament demands in terms of physiological and kinematic load.
BACKGROUND: In the last few decades, with the popularization of Judo in Brazil, the modality became the scope of scientific investigation, especially in the Brazilian Physical Education field. ...However, despite the increase in studies in the literature, revisionist efforts on the subject are still few.OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to verify the production of knowledge on the judo theme in periodicals in the Physical Education field in Brazil.METHODS: A systematic mapping was carried out in some of the main journals of Brazilian Physical Education. For this mapping, the descriptor “JUDO” was used, in a time frame, from the beginning of the journal until the year 2018. All the collected material was tabulated in Microsoft Excel 2016® software. Besides the descriptive analysis, the results were interpreted in light of the theoretical reference of Pierre Bourdieu. The choice of such referential was because the author developed a modus operandi, which allows understanding the dynamics of the structure of the scientific field as well as the tensions hidden around the academic game. RESULTS: At the end of the selection process, a total of 53 papers were found, which are part of our sample. After the analysis, the results show the main institutions and agents that divulge the theme. We highlight the role of the University of São Paulo as the main center of scientific reproduction on Judo, as well as the periodicals Revista da Educação Física da UEM and Revista Motriz as the largest recipients of studies related to this agenda. CONCLUSION: After the analyses of the research scopes, it was found that the theme has been more explored in the field of biodynamic studies of human movement, and that the production in the sociocultural and pedagogical area is still incipient.
Objective: To investigate the relationship between head impact characteristics and the levels of blood biomarkersassociated with brain injury, neurofilament light (NfL) and glial fibrillary acidic ...protein (GFAP).Methods: Four elite amateur Muay Thai athletes were equipped with impact monitoring mouthguards, collectinglinear and rotational acceleration data during a period of eight weeks. Capillary blood samples were collectedafter each period of sparring sessions to analyse the levels of NfL and GFAP.Results: On a group level, mean GFAP levels were negatively correlated to mean impacts per session (p < 0.05).Two athletes had significant correlations between head impact characteristics and the levels of NfL and/or GFAP.Conclusions: The results indicate that NfL and GFAP might responded differently to linear and rotational accelerationsand/or that the effect of different types of accelerations on brain tissue integrity is individual. Themethods used could be useful to monitor brain health in different impacts sports.
With modernization and advancement in technology, people are overwhelmed by the stressors in their life. The repeated failures to combat with the stressors have widened its focus on improving the ...resilience of the person. Resilience to stressors provides a wealth of improving the overall wellbeing and satisfaction with life. Training of martial arts not only helps to cope with the stressful realities of life but also improve the self-esteem, self-control, emotional and spiritual health of the practitioner. The present study was done with a purpose of understanding the level of resilience and life satisfaction among the karate and kalaripayattu practitioners. Convenient sampling technique was adopted for the study and a total of 120 participants which included 40 karate practitioners, 40 kalaripayattu practitioners and 40 those who did not participate in any kind of physical activity for the past one year were included for the study. Resilience scale by Conner and Davidson (2003) and Satisfaction with life scale by Diener & Pavot (2008) was used for the study. The coded data was analysed and the result showed that there is a significant difference between the resilience and life satisfaction among karate, kalaripayattu and general population. The karate practitioners were found to have the highest level of resilience and life satisfaction. The study provides an insight to how martial art practice can improve the resilience and life satisfaction of the practitioners and further can be included in the curriculum.
