Kako bi pomogao sebi ili drugome i poboljšao kvalitetu života, čovjek se koristi raznim tehnikama i sredstvima. U ovom članku polazi se od pretpostavke da su priče i vizualne metafore ljekovita ...sredstva za dušu ukoliko su iskrene, poticajne, utješne, nadahnjujuće, te na taj način mogu pomoći čovjeku u prevladavanju raznih psihičkih i egzistencijalnih tegoba. Posebni se naglasak stavlja na ljekovitost filmskih priča i filmoterapiju koja se sve češće koristi kao pomoćna tehnika u raznim psihoterapijskim pravcima, a nastavak je prakse biblioterapije koja se koristi i unutar logoterapije. Ta grana psihoterapije, koju je utemeljio Viktor Frankl, pokušava dati odgovor na pitanje egzistencijalne praznine koja sve češće tišti suvremenog čovjeka, a koja nastaje zbog nemogućnosti otkrivanja smisla. U članku se pokušava odgovoriti na pitanje kako filmske priče, koje se i same često vrte oko egzistencijalnih pitanja smisla (tko sam, odakle dolazim i kamo idem), mogu biti ljekovite ljudima koji se bore s pitanjem osmišljavanja vlastitog života te problemima patnje, slobode i odgovornosti, te koje filmove preporučiti klijentima u logoterapijskoj praksi (ali i ostalim psihoterapijskim pravcima).
Man uses different techniques and tools in order to help himself or others and enhance the quality of life. This paper assumes that stories and visual metaphors are soul-healing if honest, encouraging, consoling and inspiring, thus aiding man in overcoming different psychological and existential problems. Special emphasis is placed on the healing powers of film stories and cinematherapy which is increasingly used as a supporting technique in various psychotherapies and is a successor of bibliotherapy which is still frequently used in logotherapy. That line of psychotherapy founded by Viktor Frankl attempts to provide an answer to the question of existential emptiness that ails the modern man more often and it occurs due to the impossibility of discovering meaning. This paper tries to answer the question how film stories, often evolving around existential matters (who am I, where do I come from and where am I going) can aid the persons struggling with making sense out of their own life and problems of suffering, freedom and responsibility as well as which films to suggest to clients in logotherapy practice (as well as other psychotherapies).
This paper presents a preliminary sketch of what we have termed a Jungian socioanalysis – an emerging theory combining analytical psychology, complexity theories, sociological theories, socio‐ and ...psycho‐analysis, group analysis and affect theories. Our assumption is that Jungian theory and practice need to attend to and focus more on social contexts, sociality and the influence of societal developments. But also, on the other hand, that analytical psychology, primarily Jung’s theory of individuation and the transcendent function as well as the broad complexity perspective of his theory of psyche, can be extended to a ‘socio’ and not just a ‘psycho’ perspective. The paper presents five foundational assumptions for a Jungian socioanalysis, with the following headings: 1) A Jungian socioanalysis calls for a complex psychology; 2) (Un)consciousness is social and sociality has a dimension of (un)consciousness; 3) A Jungian socioanalysis explores social fields ‘from within’ by smaller groups; 4) A Jungian socioanalysis enables and is enabled by emerging metaphors and affect‐imagery; 5) Socio‐cultural fields have an impulse toward individuation. This is the first of two papers in the present edition of the journal – the second paper gives socio‐clinical illustrations of our thesis in this paper.
Cet article expose une première ébauche de ce que nous avons appelé la socioanalyse Jungienne ‐ une théorie émergente qui combine la psychologie analytique, les théories de la complexité, la sociologie, la socioanalyse et la psychanalyse, l’analyse groupale et les théories de l’affect. Notre postulat est que la théorie et la clinique Jungienne doivent plus tenir compte des contextes sociaux, de la socialité et de l’influence des évolutions sociétales et y accorder plus d’importance. D’autre part, nous soutenons aussi que la psychologie analytique ‐ principalement la théorie de Jung sur l’individuation et la fonction transcendante, ainsi que la perspective de vaste complexité de sa théorie de la psyché ‐ peut être élargie à une perspective ‘socio’ et pas confinée à une perspective ‘psycho’. L’article présente 5 postulats fondamentaux pour une socioanalyse Jungienne, avec les intitulés suivants: 1) Une socioanalyse Jungienne nécessite une psychologie complexe; 2) L’(in)conscience est sociale et la socialité a une dimension d’(in)conscience; 3) Une socioanalyse Jungienne explore les champs sociaux ‘de l’intérieur’ en petits groupes; 4)Une socioanalyse Jungienne est facilité par, et facilite, des métaphores émergentes et une imagerie de l’affect; 5) Les champs socio‐culturels possèdent un élan vers l’individuation. Ceci est le premier d’une série de deux articles publiés dans ce volume – le second article donne des illustrations socio‐cliniques de la thèse exposée dans cet article‐ci.
Dieser Aufsatz präsentiert eine vorläufige Skizze dessen, was wir als Jungianische Sozioanalyse bezeichnet haben – eine im Entstehen begriffene Theorie, die Analytische Psychologie, Komplexitätstheorien, soziologische Theorien, Sozio‐ und Psychoanalyse, Gruppenanalyse und Affekttheorien kombiniert. Wir gehen davon aus, daß Jungianische Theorie und Praxis sich stärker um soziale Kontexte, Sozialität und den Einfluß gesellschaftlicher Entwicklungen kümmern müssen. Aber andererseits kann diese Analytische Psychologie, vor allem Jungs Individuationstheorie und die der transzendenten Funktion sowie die breite Komplexitätsperspektive seiner Theorie der Psyche, auf eine 'soziale' und nicht nur eine 'psychologische' Perspektive ausgedehnt werden. Der Beitrag präsentiert fünf grundlegende Annahmen für eine Jungianische Sozioanalyse mit den folgenden Überschriften: 1) eine Jungianische Sozioanalyse erfordert eine Komplexpsychologie, 2) (Un‐) Bewußtes ist sozial und Sozialität hat eine Dimension von (Un‐) Bewußtem, 3) eine Jungianische Sozioanalyse untersucht soziale Felder 'von innen' durch kleinere Gruppen, 4) eine Jungianische Sozioanalyse ermöglicht und wird durch aufkommende Metaphern und Affektbilder ermöglicht, 5) Soziokulturelle Felder haben einen Impuls hin zur Individuation. Dies ist der erste von zwei Artikeln in der vorliegenden Ausgabe des Journals ‐ der zweite Artikel enthält sozio‐klinische Illustrationen unserer These in diesem Artikel.
Questo articolo presenta un abbozzo preliminare di quello che noi abbiamo definito socioanalisi junghiana –una teoria emergente che combina la psicologia analitica, le teorie della complessità, teorie sociologiche, socio‐ e psico‐analisi, analisi di gruppo e teorie degli affetti. Il nostro presupposto è che la teoria e la pratica junghiana necessitino di occuparsi e focalizzarsi di più sui contesti sociali, sulla socialità e sull’influenza degli sviluppi sociali. Ma anche, dall’altra parte, crediamo che la psicologia analitica, in primo luogo la teoria di Jung dell’individuazione e della funzione trascendente, così come l’ampia complessità della sua teoria della psiche, possano essere estese ad una prospettiva ‘socio’ e non solo ‘psico’. L’articolo presenta cinque assunzioni fondamentali per una socioanalisi junghiana, con i seguenti titoli: 1) Una socioanalisi junghiana richiede una psicologia complessa; 2) L’inconscio è sociale e la socialità ha una dimensione di inconscietà; 3) Una socioanalisi junghiana esplora i campi sociali “dal dentro” attraverso i piccoli gruppi; 4)Una socioanalisi junghiana facilita ed è facilitata dalle metafore emergenti e dalle immagini degli affetti; 5) I campi socio‐culturali hanno una spinta verso l’individuazione. Questo è il primo di due articoli nel presente numero del Journal – il secondo offrirà illustrazioni socio‐cliniche della nostra tesi.
В статье представлен предварительный очерк дисциплины, которую мы назвали юнгианским социоанализом – зарождающуюся теорию, соединяющую аналитическую психологию, теории сложных систем, социологические теории, социо – и психо‐анализ, групп анализ и аффективные теории. Наше предположение состоит в том, что юнгианская теория и практика должны уделять больше внимания социальному контексту и социальным процессам. Но, с другой стороны, аналитическая психология, в первую очередь теория индивидуации и трансцендентной функции, а также комплексный подход к теории психики, нуждаются в доработке до «социо», а не только «психо» перспективы. В статье представление пять основополагающих посылок юнгианского социоанализа под следующими заголовками: 1) юнгианский социоанализ требует комплексной (сложной) психологии, 2) (Бес)сознательное – социальное, а социальность имеет измерение (бес)сознательного, 3) юнгианский социоанализ изучает социальные поля «изнутри» с помощью малых групп, 4) юнгианский социоанализ делает возможным появление метафор и аффективных образов, а также приводится в действие их появлением, 5) социо‐культурные имеют импульс к индивидуации. Это первая из двух статей в этом номере журнала, во второй статье приведены социо‐клинические иллюстрации наших тезисов.
El presente trabajo presenta un esbozo preliminar de lo que hemos denominado Socio análisis Junguiano – una teoría emergente combinando psicología analítica, teorías de la complejidad, teorías sociológicas, socio y psicoanálisis, análisis de grupo, y teorías de las emociones. Nuestra presuposición es que la teoría y la práctica Junguiana necesita atender y focalizarse más en los contextos e influencias de los desarrollos sociales. Pero, además, se sostiene que la psicología analítica, principalmente la teoría de la individuación y la función trascendente, así como también la amplia y compleja perspectiva de su teoría de la psique, puede extenderse a una perspectiva ‘social’ y no solamente ‘psicológica’. El trabajo presente cinco fundamentos para un socio análisis Junguiano con las siguientes temáticas: 1) un socio análisis Junguiano requiere de una psicología compleja; 2) Lo (In) consciente es social y lo social tiene una dimensión (in) consciente; 3) Un psicoanálisis Junguiano explora campos sociales ‘desde adentro’ a través de pequeños grupos; 4) Un socio análisis Junguiano posibilita y es posibilitado por metáforas emergentes e imaginería emocional; 5) Campos socio‐culturales tienen un impulso hacia la individuación. Este es el primero de dos ensayos en la edición presente del Journal – el segundo trabajo ofrece ilustraciones socio‐clínicas de nuestra tesis.
荣格学社会分析的初步画像:整合了分析心理学, 情结理论, 社会学理论, 社会和心理分析, 团体分析及情绪理论的新兴理论
文章初步侧写了荣格学的社会分析, 一个整合了分析心理学, 情结理论, 社会学理论, 社会和心理分析, 团体分析及情绪理论的新兴理论。我们的假设是荣格的理论与实践, 需要更多关注和参与社会的背景, 社会化和对社会发展的影响。同时, 分析心理学, 主要是荣格关于自性化的理论、超越功能及其关于心灵的理论的复杂视角, 可以被拓展到社会学, 而不仅仅是心理的角度。文章呈现了五个关于荣格社会分析的基本假设, 如下:1)提倡情结心理学的荣格学社会分析；2)(无)意识是社会化的, 社会性具有(无)意思的层面；3)荣格学社会分析由更小的群体来从内部探索社会场域；4)荣格学社会分析促成新型的隐喻及情绪的意象, 同时也由它们促成；5)社会文化领域有自性化的冲动。这一期杂志发表了两篇系列文章, 这是其中的第一篇, 都给出了社会临床主题的描述。
Kršćanska je ideja Božje providnosti sveprisutna u bizantskoj književnosti. Ista se tendencija uočava i u Porfi rogenetovu spisu Vita Bas., životopisu njegova djeda Bazilija I., čiji je jezik i stil ...snažno obojan utjecajem Svetog pisma. Usredotočujući se na proučavanje suodnosa između pripovjedačeva prečestog referiranja na spomenutu ideju te prisutnosti elemenata Svetog pisma koji posjeduju stilsku vrijednost, istraživanje je pokazalo kako je autor višestruko crpio Sveto pismo, bilo citirajući ili parafrazirajući njegove dijelove bilo upotrebljavajući biblijske egzemple i metafore, te kako tu pojavu ne treba promatrati isključivo u okvirima retoričkih konvencija pripadajućeg razdoblja te žanrovskih zahtjeva, već i u kontekstu autorova svjesnog ostvarivanja ideološke namjere u djelu kako je dolazak njegova djeda Bazilija na prijestolje bio predodređen Božjom voljom, a ne posljedica carevih nemoralnih postupaka i velike ambicije.
The ego-focus of pioneer women on the South African frontier, 1760-1860, reflects distinct traits of mystical spirituality. The pioneer spirituality of women on the borders increasingly came to ...expression in ego-texts with experiential inclinations. The leaning towards Jesus-centred mystical spirituality developed parallel to pietistic tendencies in Holland and Germany, and allegorical and tropological applications of the bridal metaphors in the Song of Songs formed a distinct element of female pietism on the frontier. Women believers in the interior favoured tropological applications of bridal metaphors in the Song of Songs. The popularity of such tropological applications can firstly be attributed to the physical conditions under which pioneer women found themselves. Secondly, the availability of German pietistic works contributed towards the religious culture of mystical and individualistic readings of bridal metaphors in the Song of Songs. Tropological readings of the Song of Songs' bridal metaphors are traced to the theology of Bernard of Clairvaux particularly and other pre-reformational mystical sources.
Pojava knjige "Metafore koje istražujemo: suvremeni uvidi u konceptualnu metaforu" svjedoči prije svega o zrelosti domaće kognitivnolingvističke znanstvene zajednice – naime da kvalitetnih i ...intrigantnih istraživanja, radova, autora koji se bave konceptualnom metaforom ima dovoljno, i da pritom posjedujemo širinu da vlastita istraživanja smjestimo u svjetske okvire i trendove, u realnome vremenu. /.../ Cilj je bio objediniti različita suvremena (empirijska) istraživanja o konceptualnoj metafori (njezinim teorijskim, primijenjenim, jezičnim, konceptualnim i komunikacijskim aspektima) iz perspektiva različitih disciplina, a koja bi se barem u nekoj mjeri oslanjala na podatke ili ilustracije iz hrvatskog jezika.
Nakana je rada istaknuti i promišljati o razvijanju jedne rasute manjinske tradicije koja razmatra značaj kulturoloških utjecaja na zdravlje i bolesti. Naglasit će se zamršena, složena i suptilna ...veza bolesti i kulture. Stavljajući naglasak na narativ ili priču, rad će se kritički osvrnuti na postojeći prevladavajući biomedicinski model bolesti i sagledati mogućnost uvođenja i proširivanja postojećeg modela biokulturnim modelom bolesti. U tom se kontekstu javila i potreba valoriziranja osobnih narativa iskustva bolesti u medicini. Tako se razvila i narativna medicina koja pretpostavlja da puko znanstveno znanje i klinička medicinska praksa nisu dostatne u okolnostima pacijentove osobne borbe s bolesti, te prepoznaje, upija i reinterpretira njegovo iskustvo. Očekivani doprinos ovoga rada ići će u smjeru mogućnosti teorijskog i praktičkog utemeljenja i uporišta za takva promišljanja, te pokušaj pluriperspektivnog pristupa zdravlju i bolesti.
The intention of this paper is to highlight and reflect on the development of one tradition that considers the importance of cultural influences on health and illness. Delicate balance between illness and culture is what constitutes the elusive truth of illness and post-modern understanding of the illness as biocultural phenomenon in biocultural model. By putting an emphasis on this narrative, we will critically overview the existing dominant biomedical model of illness and we will consider the possibility of introducing a new biocultural model of illness expanding the existing biomedical model. In that context the narrative medicine has evolved, assuming that mere scientific knowledge and clinical medical practice are insufficient in the circumstances of the patient’s personal struggle with the illness, and thus recognizes, absorbs and reinterprets his experience. The expected scientific contribution of this work will go towards the possibilities of theoretical and practical foundation and a search for the possibility of the different pluriperspective approach to illness and health.
This article proposes that trauma hermeneutics and, in particular, greater theoretical reflection on the relationship between trauma and metaphor may help explain the birth metaphors in Micah ...4:9-5:3, where the woman-in-labour metaphor has been transformed quite dramatically. In the context of Micah, which I propose could also be characterized as trauma literature, there is evidence of a movement from potentially debilitating traumatic memories, associated with the woman-in-labour metaphor, to memories that have been integrated into some kind of narrative framework and that may potentially be considered to be a sign of healing and recovery.
Beliefs refer to a set of conceptual images that include general knowledge about phenomena, people and events related to the professional context. The focus of this paper was on establishing ...differences in the beliefs of first-, third- and fifth-year students in teacher education and employed teachers regarding educational inclusion and teaching pupils with developmental disabilities. Its purpose was to provide answers to the question of whether and to what extent the beliefs of different groups of respondents vary with regard to pupils with developmental disabilities and their inclusion in the educational process. The participants in the research were 585 student teachers and teachers employed in primary schools in the Republic of Croatia. Beliefs were explored by means of the metaphor technique, using a familiar object or event as a mental vehicle for interpreting complex notions or situations. The participants in the research were asked to complete the sentences ‘Inclusion of pupils with developmental disabilities is like …, because …’ and ‘Teaching pupils with developmental disabilities is like …, because …’. It could be established that in the total sample most participants expressed inclusive beliefs, since their responses were directed at shaping and supporting pupils with developmental disabilities. However, when it came to the teaching process, the share of participants expressing inclusive beliefs decreased. Inclusive beliefs characterised third-year students, who were at the time of the investigation completing a course in inclusive education, to the greatest extent and in-service teachers to the smallest extent. The remaining groups of students shared almost identical professional beliefs, which points to an insufficient contribution of both initial teacher education and teaching experience to the transformation from pre-professional towards professional beliefs about inclusive education.

Cet article examine l’utilisation du concept de guerre dans l’oeuvre de Michel Foucault. En renversant la célèbre déclaration de Clausewitz selon laquelle la guerre n’est qu’un prolongement de la ...politique par d’autres moyens, Foucault parle de manière ambivalente dans les années 1970 de la politique comme d’un prolongement de la guerre par d’autres moyens. Au sein de son analyse des rapports sociaux en tant que rapports de pouvoir, il se sert abondamment des métaphores de guerre telles que la stratégie et la tactique, mais utilise aussi une terminologie de guerre en abandonnant la métaphore. Il se distancie plus tard de ce discours qu’il qualifie de discours historique spécifique qui, de manière rétrospective, est soumis au discours analytiquementplus froid d’archéologie, à savoir, dans le sens foucaldien, à l’analyse dynastique/généalogique du pouvoir nominalement engagé. Il rejette également d’un point de vue normatif la métaphore de guerre dans certains domaines spécifiques, telle que dans sa problématisation du rôle des intellectuels. Cet article se limite à deux buts particuliers. Le but premier est, suivant le genre de l’herméneutique de Foucault, de reconstruire en tentant de classer de manière fidèle les différents genres de discours de guerre présents dans son oeuvre riche et variée. Le but second consiste, quant à lui, à valoriser ce discours d’un point de vue analytique, travail résumé en la question de savoir ce que l’on gagne et ce que l’on perd à travers le discours de guerre dans l’analyse des mouvements sociaux, tout en ayant à l’esprit l’intitulé de Lakoff et Johnson concernant les métaphores conceptuelles, qui, comme ils l’affirment, façonnent notre pensée et nos mondes réels. En d’autres mots, il s’agit de savoir ce que nous a réellement dit Foucault et ce qu’il a vraiment écrit, mais aussi, ce que cela signifie pour nous aujourd’hui au sein de l’analyse de la société et de la politique.
For some time, it has been clear that psychoanalytic theories are built upon the kind of master narratives Roy Schafer, a New York psychoanalyst, described in 1980. As such, psychoanalytic theories ...may today have lost some of their initial scientific credibility in that they can no longer be seen as summarizing findings from data collected in a research environment. As aids in participating in their patients’ process of healing, however, narratives continue to be used by practitioners and reflect allegiance to core beliefs and propositions with roots in long‐standing Western thought. In this article, the metaphors in master narratives of Freud and Jung are compared with a conceptual system identified by cognitive linguists as ‘The Great Chain of Being’. Based on this analysis, the article proposes that theoretical formulations have mainly a secondary role to play in achieving good outcomes. The most critical element is the therapist's capacity to access a specific narrative for what transpires throughout each treatment.
Depuis quelque temps, il est entendu que les théories psychanalytiques sont construites sur le type de récits que Roy Schafer, un psychanalyste New‐Yorkais, a décrits en 1980. En tant que telles, les théories psychanalytiques ont peut‐être aujourd’hui perdu une partie de leur crédibilité scientifique : elles ne peuvent plus être considérées comme résumant les découvertes obtenues à partir de données issues de la recherche. Cependant, en tant que ressources qui participent aux processus de guérison de leurs patients, les récits sont encore utilisés par les praticiens. Ces récits reflètent des croyances fondamentales et des propositions qui ont leurs racines dans une tradition de pensée occidentale longuement établie. Dans cet article, les métaphores des métarécits de Freud et de Jung sont comparées au système conceptuel identifié par les linguistes cognitifs comme « La Grande Chaine de la Vie ». S’appuyant sur cette analyse, l’article propose que les formulations théoriques jouent surtout un rôle secondaire dans l’obtention de bons résultats. L’élément le plus essentiel étant la capacité du thérapeute à trouver l’accès à un récit spécifique pour ce qui transparait au travers de chaque cure.
Seit einiger Zeit ist klar, daß psychoanalytische Theorien auf jener Art von Meistererzählungen aufgebaut sind wie sie von Roy Schafer, einem New Yorker Psychoanalytiker, 1980 beschrieben wurden. Als solche könnten psychoanalytische Theorien heute einiges von ihrer anfänglichen wissenschaftlichen Glaubwürdigkeit verloren haben insofern sie nicht länger als Verfahren angesehen werden, die in wissenschaftlicher Forschungsumgebung gesammelte Ergebnisse von Daten zusammenfassen. Als Hilfen im Heilungsprozeß ihrer Patienten werden Narrative jedoch weiterhin von den Behandlern verwendet, was die Loyalität zu Kernüberzeugungen und ‐aussagen widerspiegelt, die in althergebrachtem westlichen Denken wurzeln. In diesem Artikel werden die Metaphern aus Meistererzählungen von Freud und Jung mit einem konzeptuellen System verglichen, das von kognitiven Linguisten als ‘Die große Kette des Seins’ bezeichnet wird. Basierend auf dieser Analyse wird in diesem Artikel dazu angeregt, theoretischen Formulierungen im wesentlichen eine sekundäre Rolle zuzusprechen wenn es darum geht, gute Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Das kritischste Element besteht in der Fähigkeit des Therapeuten, Zugriff auf eine jeweils bestimmte Erzählung zu erlangen die abbildet, was während jeder Behandlung geschieht.
Da un po’ di tempo è chiaro che le teorie psicoanalitiche sono costruite sul modello delle narrative che Roy Schafer, uno psicoanalista di New York, ha descritto nel 1980. In questa prospettiva, le teorie psicoanalitiche hanno perso qualcosa della loro iniziale credibilità scientifica, in quanto non possono più essere considerate come raccoglitori di dati in un ambiente di ricerca. In quanto aiuto nel processo di guarigione dei pazienti, le narrazioni continuano ad essere utilizzate dai terapeuti e rispecchiano l’ancoraggio alle credenze di base ed alle affermazioni che sono alle radici nella lunga storia del pensiero occidentale. In questo articolo, le metafore nei modelli narrativi di Freud e di Jung vengono confrontate con un sistema concettuale definito dai linguisti cognitivi come “la grande catena dell’essere”. Basandosi su questa analisi, l’articolo suggerisce che le formulazioni teoriche hanno prevalentemente un ruolo secondario nel raggiungimento di risultati positivi. L’elemento cruciale è la capacità del terapeuta di accedere a specifiche narrative attraverso ciò che traspare durante ogni trattamento.
Некоторое время многими аналитиками разделялась точка зрения, что психоаналитические теории строятся на ключевом нарративе. Рой Шафер, психоаналитик из Нью‐Йорка, описал это явление в 1980. Можно предположить, что на сегодняшний день психоаналитические теории потеряли свою первоначальную научную достоверность в том плане, что их больше не рассматривают как обобщение данных, полученных в ходе эмпирического исследования. Однако нарративы продолжают использоваться практикующими специалистами, они выступают в роли помощников в процессе исцеления пациентов, отражают приверженность основным убеждениям и положениям в давней традиции западной мысли . В этой статье метафоры в ключевых нарративах Фрейда и Юнга сравниваются с понятийной системой, которую когнитивные лингвисты называют «Великая цепь бытия». Durante cierto tiempo, resultó claro que las teorías psicoanalíticas se crearon sobre la base de las narrativas maestras, descriptas por Roy Schafer, psicoanalista de New York, en 1980. Como tales, las teorías psicoanalíticas pueden haber perdido actualmente algo de su credibilidad científica inicial, debido a que ya no pueden ser vistas como una recolección de datos provenientes de una investigación. Las narrativas, sin embargo, continúan utilizándose por quienes practican, como ayuda en el proceso de curación de sus pacientes, reflejando la lealtad a aquellas creencias y proposiciones fundamentales, con profundas raíces en el pensamiento Occidental. En este artículo, las metáforas en narrativas maestras de Freud y Jung son comparadas con un sistema conceptual identificado por los lingüistas cognitivos como “La Gran Cadena del Ser”. Basado en este análisis, el artículo propone que las formulaciones teóricas han tenido principalmente un rol secundario con respecto a la obtención de buenos resultados. El elemento fundamental es la capacidad del terapeuta de acceder a la narrativa específica de aquello que transpira a través de cada tratamiento.
