Karla Kosora. Uz prijepise plačeva objašnjena je i povijest nalaska obaju plačeva, raščlanjena je grafija Plača iz 1563., koji se ovdje prvi put objavljuje, a objašnjena su i načela prijepisa tih plačeva. Na kraju autor donosi i grafijsku tablicu Plača iz 1563.

This technology brings several possibilities in veterinary medicine, such as the manufacture of reliable anatomical models, plates, prostheses and drill guides customized for the patient, contributing to the training of undergraduate students and residents, in addition to increasing the surgeon's confidence, by enabling planning and training prior to procedures, increasing surgical precision and reducing procedure time and the number of iatrogenic injuries caused in structures adjacent to the area of interest. In addition, prototypes can contribute to the rehabilitation of traumatized or mutilated patients, such as birds, turtles and other wild animals. However, its relatively high cost, and the lack of trained professionals for its elaboration, still limit its use, but the reduction in the time it provides for carrying out treatments can compensate for its investment.
A prototipagem rápida é realizada em impressoras em três dimensões (3D), que utilizam vários materiais, como nylon, metal ou células de tecidos, viabilizando a produção de objetos de diversas formas e tamanhos. Para isto, ela trabalha a partir de uma imagem virtual do objeto desejado. Esta tecnologia traz diversas possibilidades na medicina veterinária, como a fabricação de modelos anatômicos fidedignos, placas, próteses e guias de broca customizados para o paciente, contribuindo para a capacitação de estudantes de graduação e residentes, além de aumentar a confiança do cirurgião, por possibilitar o planejamento e treinos prévios aos procedimentos, aumentando sua precisão cirúrgica e reduzindo o tempo do procedimento e o número de lesões iatrogênicas causadas em estruturas adjacentes à área de interesse. Além disso, os protótipos podem contribuir para a reabilitação de pacientes traumatizados ou mutilados, como aves, quelônios e outros animais silvestres. Mas seu custo relativamente alto, e a falta de profissionais capacitados para sua elaboração ainda limitam seu uso, porém a redução no tempo que propicia na execução de tratamentos pode compensar seu investimento.

The dental enamel is the most mineralized tissue from the body, providing coating and protection to the teeth. Its primary structural components are ameloblasts which, individually, are actually very ...sensitive structures. Whenever there is an injury to the amelogenesis we observe defects in the enamel. Enamel hypoplasia happens when there is a defective formation of its organic matrix, leading to irregularities on the enamel’s surface and changes in its color. The diagnosis of this condition is based on clinical observation, and the treatment is restoration, which is aimed at decreasing dental sensitivity. The goal of this paper is to review a case of a female canine patient, diagnosed with enamel hypoplasia treated at Veterinary School Clinic Marcos Vinicius Tranquílim of the State University of Midwest. The case was conducted with a surgical periodontal treatment and a dental restoration, with the hopes of improving the quality of the patient's life.
El esmalte dental es el tejido más mineralizado del cuerpo, donde tiene la función de recubrir y proteger el diente. Está formado por ameloblastos, estructuras muy sensibles que, si sufren alguna lesión en su formación, conducen a defectos en el esmalte. La hipoplasia del esmalte es una formación defectuosa de la matriz orgánica del esmalte, que produce irregularidades en la superficie y cambios de color. El diagnóstico es clínico y el tratamiento es la restauración, con el objetivo de disminuir la sensibilidad dental y cubrir la dentina expuesta. El objetivo fue reportar un caso de una paciente canina, hembra, diagnosticada con hipoplasia del esmalte atendida en la Clínica Escuela Veterinaria Marcos Vinicius Tranquílim, Universidad Estatal del Centro Oeste. Como tratamiento, se realizaron la limpieza periodontal y la restauración dental, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida del paciente.

É formado a partir de ameloblastos, estruturas muito sensíveis, que se sofrerem alguma injúria na sua formação, levam a defeitos no esmalte. A hipoplasia de esmalte é uma defeituosa formação da matriz orgânica do esmalte, levando a irregularidades na superfície e alteração na coloração. O diagnóstico é clínico e o tratamento é restauração, visando diminuir a sensibilidade dentária e cobrir dentina exposta. O objetivo foi relatar um caso de cão, fêmea, três anos de idade, com diagnóstico de hipoplasia de esmalte atendida na Clínica Escola de Veterinária Prof. Dr. Marcos Vinicius Tranquílim, da Universidade Estadual do Centro Oeste. Como tratamento, foi realizado limpeza periodontal e restauração dentária, visando uma melhor qualidade de vida para o paciente.
Distal femoral fractures represent a problem due to their high number of complications. The aim was to compare the results, complications and stability achieved with retrograde intramedullary nailing ...and the angular stable plate in the treatment of distal femoral diaphyseal fractures.
A clinical and experimental biomechanical study was carried out using finite elements. The results of the simulations allowed us to obtain the main results related to the stability of osteosynthesis. For clinical follow-up data, frequencies were used for qualitative variables, and Fisher's exact test and χ2 test were used to evaluate the significance of the different factors, with the condition of P<.05.
In the biomechanical study, the retrograde intramedullar nails demonstrated superiority, obtaining lower values in terms of global displacement, maximum tension, torsion resistance, and bending resistance. In the clinical study, the rate of consolidation of the plates was lower than nails (77% vs. 96%, P=.02). The factor that most influenced the healing of fractures treated with plate were the central cortical thickness (P=.019). The factor that most influenced the healing of nail-treated fractures was the difference between the diameter of the medullary canal and the nail.
Our biomechanical study shows that both osteosynthesis provide sufficient stability, but biomechanically behaves differently. Nails provide greater overall stability being preferable the use of long nails adjusted to the diameter of the canal. Plates form less rigid osteosynthesis, with little resistance to bending.
Las fracturas de fémur distal representan un problema por su elevado número de complicaciones. El objetivo fue comparar los resultados, las complicaciones y la estabilidad conseguidos con el enclavado intramedular retrógrado y la placa de estabilidad angular en el tratamiento de las fracturas diafisarias distales de fémur.
Se realizó un estudio clínico y experimental biomecánico mediante elementos finitos. Los resultados de las simulaciones permitieron obtener los principales resultados relacionados con la estabilidad de la osteosíntesis. En el seguimiento clínico se utilizaron frecuencias en variables cualitativas, y la prueba exacta de Fisher y la prueba Chi cuadrado para evaluar la significación de los diferentes factores, con la condición p<0,05.
En el estudio biomecánico los clavos intramedulares retrógrados demostraron superioridad, obteniendo valores inferiores en cuanto a desplazamiento global, tensión máxima, resistencia a la torsión y resistencia a la flexión. En el estudio clínico la tasa de consolidación de las placas fue inferior a la de los clavos (77% vs. 96%, p=0,02). El factor que más influyó en la consolidación de las fracturas tratadas con placa fue el grosor cortical central (p=0,019). El factor que más influyó en la consolidación de las fracturas tratadas con clavo fue la diferencia entre el diámetro del canal medular y el del clavo.
Nuestro estudio biomecánico demuestra que ambas osteosíntesis proporcionan suficiente estabilidad, pero biomecánicamente se comportan de forma diferente. Los clavos proporcionan mayor estabilidad global, siendo preferible el uso de clavos largos y ajustados al diámetro del canal. Las placas forman osteosíntesis menos rígidas, con poca resistencia a la flexión.
The global market for smart parking solutions is booming. Nowadays, this market is highly competitive due mainly to the increase in car ownership and the number of vehicles circulating the roads. ...However, there is a technological gap between Argentina and other countries. This work presents the Automated LPR Parking System for Argentinian Plates SAE (in Spanish, Sistema Automatizado de Estacionamiento) designed and developed in its prototype version for a private company, to control and manage the entry, stay and exit of vehicles in parking lots. The system is composed by two main modules: the automatic license plate recognition system and the Principal System Board. This board allows the connection of the central unit with peripherals such as magnetic field sensors, access barriers and infrared barriers. In addition, the system manages a database that stores the necessary information for the parking management. Registered users that pay monthly and ocasinal users are considered. Furthermore, the system implements a mechanism for vehicle size detection to determine the value of the parking fees. SAE handles both hardware and system failures and exceptional situations. In addition, the entry and exit of vehicles are handled simultaneously.
