The volume brings together academics and practitioners from across the EU to address the question of 'facultative mixity' in the EU's external relations, i.e. the situation whereby both the EU and ...its Member States enter into an international agreement with a third country even if legally the EU could act on its own.
Cilj.
Christian faith does not owe its existence to any human culture, insofar as its foundation is laid by a supernatural source. Nevertheless, it is a well-known fact that in its realization, it has a need for expressive forms of the cultural order. These forms are always and in various ways conditioned by concrete givens, frameworks, and elements of human co-existence and organization, among which »city« has a special place. According to clear and multiple socio-demographic indicators, for centuries and decades, the city is, in various intensities and forms, a special target of millions of people who were and are trying to realize their desire for a meaningful and happy life. In other words, the city has been for a long time, and is especially today, in a state of expansion. That expansion influences, in various ways, contemporary forms of living out faith in the city. This article, therefore, engages with the topic of theological-pastoral discernment of today’s state of practice of faith in cities in Croatian and similar, culturally related European urban environments and offers a theological-practical analysis of trends related to this area that will obviously be current also in the future. Since the issue of the concrete realization of Christian faith in this environment is hardly a marginal social issue, it demands a systematic approach, especially in terms of a theological analysis of conditions of living out Christian faith amidst cultural changes in an urban environment. Hence, the article puts emphasis on relating elements of faith with certain newer cultural forms while aiming at seeking possible solutions that might be of help in the future when it comes to quality encounters between human cultures and faith in the urban environment
In this paper, the authors process the role of administrative-judicial case law in controlling
legal norms, from different points of view. On the one hand, the authors present the importance of
administrative-judicial control of legal acts as well as its development. Furthermore, the authors
point out relevant comparative case law taking into the consideration broadness of the powers of
judges while deciding on the rights and obligations of a particular party in French administrative
law.
ABSTRACT This paper presents some of the key organisational aspects of conducting field practice for the students of social work in six study programs of social work in the Republic of Croatia and ...the region in the light of the results of current research and key understanding of experiential learning and the demands imposed by the Global standards for the education of social workers. The purpose of the paper is to deepen our understanding of the representation and the role of supervisory support to students during experiential learning in the field practice but also to provide insight into the context within which field practice is conducted within individual study programs. Social work as a profession puts great demands on experts and raises numerous questions about how to act and why to act in casework, what are the values and standards connected to a particular situation and decision, and to what extent are we aware of our blind spots and how to address the norms and rules of an individual role, position, organisation and wider environment, both professional and social one. Social workers can find the answers to these and many other questions that derive from immediate practice in supervision. Supervision, as a specific manner of providing professional support, aims to find answers to such questions through the reflection of one’s actions, promotion of professionalism and finally, through the preservation of quality of service provided to the ultimate user. Supervision has proved to be not only an effective way of monitoring and providing support to students during practice, but also an appropriate way to acquire new knowledge and skills. Additionally, due to its theoretical and ethical essence, given specific features of learning in adult age, supervision provides a good place for reflection and it encourages the development of the professional identity of future social workers. These are also the processes that are intensely taking place during the study, so this paper will focus on the supervision of the students of social work as an approach and tool that is important for facing new challenges of study and work. Key words: supervision; field practice; experiential learning; students of social work.
ABSTRACT Supervision of social work students as an integral part of the educational process is an integrated way of learning in which social work students apply their theoretical knowledge to field ...practice, and by reflecting on their experiences from practice in supervision, they improve their professional and personal development. This paper presents part of the results of qualitative research into the process of supervision of students. 10 supervisors of social work students who supervised undergraduate and graduate studies at the Social Work Study Center, Faculty of Law in Zagreb, University of Zagreb participated in the research. The research was conducted using a semi-structured interview method, and data processing used a thematic framework analysis. The results of the research show that supervisors use numerous methods, techniques, models and concepts in their work, emphasizing the educational function of supervision, which ranges from focus on the task to focus on the process of supervision. In terms of feedback, the supportive aspect of supervision dominates. Specific difficulties in supervision are mainly related to the organizational model of conducting field practice and coordination of activities with the educational institution. Also, the paper describes the peculiarities of the student supervision process in relation to other types of supervision that student supervisors recognized in their work. Key words: supervision of social work students; field practice; supervision process.
U znanstvenim i stručnim psihologijskim, psihijatrijskim i pravnim krugovima diljem svijeta vodi se rasprava o
uporabi koncepta roditeljskog otuđenja. U Hrvatskoj znanstvenoj i stručnoj literaturi ...prevladavaju tekstovi u
znanstvenu utemeljenost „otuđenja“ i problematiziraju moguće posljedice upotrebe takvog, u ovom trenutku još
uvijek, nedovoljno jasno definiranog i operacionaliziranog koncepta, na dobrobit naših korisnika. U ovom radu
jedne strategije prisile i kontrole nad žrtvama.
Action research is a specific process aimed at improving educational practices through active involvement by those within the educational system. For action research to be effective, it needs to be placed within the contextual framework of teacher practice. Although there is an increasing effort to apply action research in schools today, its importance still seems not to be fully understood. The paper presents aspects of implementing and evaluating activities aimed at increasing the motivation of teachers - reflective practitioners for professional development, conducted through action research with classroom teachers. The research was conducted in three phases. The first phase included formulating the basic starting points of the research, familiarising potential participants with the framework plan of activities, and the joint concretisation of the activities after the teachers' commitment to participate in the research. In the second phase of the research, three activities of theoretical, practical and creative character were realised, followed by discussions aimed at maximising the effects of the process. In parallel with this, the process of observing the effects was also carried out, and a formative evaluation of the process took place. The third phase of the research was marked by a summative evaluation of the programme's effects, including the teachers' perceptions of the impacts of the implemented activities and their future plans for inclusion in the professional development process in action research and reflective practice. The research results point to the possibility of increasing the motivation of teachers - reflective practitioners for professional development in action research and reflective practice.
