The University encountered challenges with its manual recruitment processes, characterized by inefficient record-keeping, decreased productivity, and prolonged hiring periods. To address these ...issues, a recruitment application was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, prioritizing swift iterations and comprehensive stakeholder involvement. We have implemented many features to improve the user experience for job seekers and employers. It includes sign-up and login options for both, CV uploading for job seekers, and the ability to view vacancies. Employers can also view and upload vacancies, delete them if needed, and schedule interviews through the system. Both job seekers and employers can easily edit their profiles and passwords, ensuring flexibility and usability throughout the recruitment process. Notably, User Acceptance Tests revealed high satisfaction levels among users, confirming the application's effectiveness in meeting their requirements and enhancing the overall recruitment experience. The application's user-centric design and agile development approach represent a substantial advancement in the University's recruitment practices.
The expeditious usage of android smartphones all over the world gave rise to the development of a huge number of android applications popularly called apps in Google and other play stores. This rapid ...and easier android app development environment became a platform for hackers to develop fake apps and steal the user’s private information. Fake apps are the duplicate apps created with same name, functionality of original app to extract the user sensitive information. In this rapid application development, smartphone users are unable to decide whether the app is an original intended app or a fake app. In this paper we analyzed different types of fake apps from different standard sources and reported how they extract the information once they are downloaded into the Smartphone. We proposed a Fake app detection(FAD) method to detect the app is a fake app or original app. The application detection in android smartphones is the need of the day in the society as most of the users are dependent on apps for performing daily activities. Finally our method provides a solution to detect the malicious apps in the form of fake apps in android environment
Pengajuan ISBN (International Standard Book Number) merupakan salah satu fasilitas yang disediakan Perpustakaan Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR) kepada sivitas akademika untuk membantu sivitas akademika ...dalam pengurusan ISBN ke Perpustakaan Nasional. Selama ini, proses pengajuan ISBN Penerbit Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR) memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Penulis melakukan komunikasi via email yang dikirimkan kepada staf perpustakaan, sehingga penulis maupun staf kesulitan dalam melihat status progres pengajuan ISBN. Oleh karena itu, dibangunlah sebuah sistem perpustakaan, yang dapat mengelola proses pengurusan ISBN Penerbit Politeknik Caltex. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan menerapkan metodologi Rapid Application Development (RAD). Pengembangan sistem dengan metodologi RAD lebih sesuai diterapkan pada sistem berskala kecil, dan jangka pendek. Sistem yang dihasilkan telah diuji dengan menggunakan metode black box testing dan menyatakan bahwa fitur-fitur sistem 100% sudah berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.
PurposeThe purpose of this study is to understand the concept of “Low Code No Code” applications and study its scope of application for web designing, rapid application development (RAD) and supply ...chain digitization (SCD).Design/methodology/approachA qualitative exploratory study was conducted for this exploratory study. A semi-structured open-ended questionnaire was prepared by the authors. Based on the questionnaire in-depth interviews were conducted with subject matter experts having more than 10 years of experience in the domain of supply chain management and digitization. The study questionnaire focused on the current reach and future potential of “Low Code No Code” platforms. A total of 20 responses were collected from experts as post this point thematic saturation was reached. A non-probabilistic convenience sampling was applied to identify the experts The data was content analyzed for themes.FindingsThe major findings that emerged from the study was that “Low Code No Code” platforms applications could be used across end-to-end SCD. The study also revealed that RAD through “Low Code No Code” platforms could reduce organizations dependency on coders. In the case of procurement, “Low Code No Code” applications could improve vendor and supplier management by streamlining processes. The cost-effective and easy-to-maintain “Low Code No Code” application development could help Medium and Small-Scale Enterprises level the playing field against large organizations. The lack of adoption strategy and low perceived usefulness was identified as major barriers to the adoption of “Low Code No Code” applications by organizations.Research limitations/implications“Low Code No Code” application-based automation would enable better utilization of organizational supply chain (SC) resources and capabilities. This would improve the sustainability performance of the firm. Furthermore, it would also enable the provision of SC services at a lower cost level, thus benefiting customers.Practical implications“Low Code No Code” application-based automation would help organizations to reduce the dependency on coders and Information Technology developers SCD. This could also allow SC managers to make more apps to be built in less time without the need of complex coding. This could potentially reduce app development costs toward digitizing SCs.Originality/valueTo the best of the authors’ knowledge, this was one of the very first studies regarding how “Low Code No Code” applications could revolutionize the SC using these app development capabilities. This study also provided an extensive study of Diffusion of Innovations and Technological Organizational Theory frameworks for in the context of “Low Code No Code” technology adoption.
Reservasi merupakan salah satu hal penting untuk dilakukan ketika pasien ingin berobat di suatu instansi kesehatan. Pada klinik dr. Candra Safitri ini, proses reservasi pasien untuk berobat masih ...menggunakan cara yang konvensional yaitu dengan memaksa pasien untuk melakukan antri dengan cara datang langsung ke klinik dr. Candra Safitri. Kemudian, ketika pasien tiba di klinik, pasien diminta untuk mengambil nomor antrian yang tersedia pada klinik tersebut. Proses ini dinilai kurang efektif karena pasien harus melakukan antri yang panjang dan menunggu giliran untuk dipanggil ke ruang dokter. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi android untuk melakukan reservasi supaya pasien yang ingin berobat dapat melakukan reservasi tanpa datang langsung ke klinik untuk mengambil nomor antrian yang tersedia pada klinik dr. Candra Safitri ini. Pengembangan aplikasi ini dilakukan menggunakan metode RAD (Rapid Application Development) dengan tahapan Requirement Planning, User Design, Construction and Cutover. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi reservasi berbasis android dan didukung dengan website admin yang diimplementasikan di klinik dr. Candra Safitri supaya memudahkan pasien dalam melakukan reservasi. Berdasarkan pengujian aplikasi menggunakan metode Black Box, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hasil pengujian fungsionalitas dari website admin dan aplikasi mobile pasien semuanya sukses dan semua modul yang dibuat sudah sesuai dengan rancangan sistem.
The current location of educational institutions is generally not in the same location due to lack of land availability or educational institutions has the goal of accommodating a number of students ...from certain regions equally, in other words expanding the reach of these educational institutions. Generally, the institution will provide a solution by constructing a number of rooms vertically and grouping them based on the type of activity given. But the impact is the difficulty of monitoring business administrators and students when they want to conduct guidance or face-to-face counselling in addition to the teaching schedule. Thus it is deemed necessary to have a monitoring instrument regarding the presence of teachers to facilitate students and school administrators to monitor their existence. The system development method was designed using Rapid Application Development (RAD) based on observations of bourding-based elementary schools in Bogor, West Java. The system is designed based on the needs of students and business administrators, through the system there will be a number of information about teacher attendance, substitute staff, the location of the teacher's existence, current activities and other planned activities so that the parties can optimally utilize the information. With this instrument it is expected that students can learn to manage time effectively so that the character of students who are devoted, knowledgeable, skilled, independent and able to adapt to the development of information technology are formed.
Furniture is an item that is intended for households and can beautify a room, because of the various furniture designs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia's restrictions on community activities ...(PPKM) were carried out. PPKM causes restrictions on outdoor activities so that entrepreneurs experience a decrease in income. Furniture entrepreneurs were also affected and experienced a market decline because the national furniture industry was closed. This research was conducted with the aim of creating a mobile application called Furpare that is expected to help compare the prices of various furniture in e-commerce in Indonesia so that users or consumers do not need to look for furniture in physical stores. The research method is carried out using the stages in Rapid Application Development (RAD), namely requirements planning, user design, construction, and cutover, while the price comparison method is used to compare the prices of one item with another and the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) is adopted as a method to evaluate user acceptance of this application. The result of this research is the application can compare the price of furniture, display the details of furniture, and categorize furniture based on the input given by the user or consumer.
Electrically pumped nanolasers have achieved many exciting achievements and display a wide range of potential application prospects in the fields of optoelectronic chips, information storage, and ...biosensing. However, there is lacking an in‐depth and extensive review of the recent development of electrically pumped nanolasers. Herein, a detailed and comprehensive overview of the electrically pumped nanolasers is first given according to the device configurations, including electrically pumped single nanolaser, nanoarray lasers, nanobeam lasers, and plasmonic nanolasers with different cavity structures. Furthermore, some problems and challenges restricting the development of electrically pumped nanolasers are summarized, and the corresponding solutions and development directions are proposed. This review will provide valuable suggestions for optimizing the device structure of electrically pumped nanolasers with new high‐gain semiconductor materials and particularly further promote their rapid application development.
