The current stage of global social and economic development is characterized by digitalization, bringing many changes to education. In the last two years, marked by combatting the SARS-CoV-2 ...pandemic, information and communication technology in education has seen exponential growth, which has resulted in the need to adapt teaching methods to achieve planned learning outcomes. Teachers have faced the challenge of adequately perfecting teaching and learning methods to respond to pupil demands and their different educational needs and to increase their motivation to participate in an increasingly virtually oriented teaching process. The increasing use of digital technology in teaching in recent years has accelerated the development of new areas of pedagogy. In the scientific literature, there is increasing talk about digital pedagogy as a new branch or approach in pedagogy that studies the laws of digital education, developing new strategies and approaches to enrich the curriculum using information and communication technology. This paper seeks to explain the concept of digital pedagogy and how it can solve traditional didactic problems, shaping and developing innovative learning processes while developing and supporting a curriculum increasingly oriented toward digital technology. It proposes opportunities for teachers to improve the quality of the teaching process and highlights shortcomings and new challenges facing the increased use of information and communication technology in teaching.
Introduction: The teaching process conducted studies in the doctoral program in Cuba is important in the context of biomedical basic sciences. Objective: To identify the general and specific basis ...for the teaching in relation of investigations procedure in genetic epidemiology that guarantee to obtain of scientific degree for the physicians and other professional in relation with biomedical basic science. Materials and Methods: In the paper we shown the results of six research project in this area in the doctoral program of Medical University of Villa Clara. For shown evidence that the six different phenotype has a genetic basis were analyzed the presence of higher prevalence in relatives compared with general population, higher risk among first-degree relatives of affected individuals, segregation mode of phenotype and different studies of association from DNA polymorphism (SNP), chromosome variants and echography biomarkers. For find evidence the intervention of environment factors in the pathogenesis of disorders we applied the interview with questions about specific risk factors, and analysis of gene - environment interactions in the pathogenesis with different model for demonstration the type of interactions suggests. Results: We found that the research studies conducted by mainstream epidemiological theme may be divided into three broad categories: (1) those that aim to describe the distribution of a disease or a determinant at the level of a population of interest (familiar hereditary angioedema); (2) those that attempt to investigate a potential etiological link between one or more specific determinants and a disease of interest (congenital birth defects, cervix cancer, reproductive failure, and longevity) and (3) those aimed at formally evaluating the effectiveness of an intervention applied to individuals or groups of individuals in the general population (hypoplasia fetal thymus). Conclusions: The teaching process which conducted studies in the doctoral program en Villa Clara, Cuba over the last 5 years indicate that both genetic and environmental factors play a critical role in the pathogenesis of theses disease, the high prevalence of these in the relative and the familiarity of the disease and its endophenotype, strongly suggest a substantial genetic basis.
This research aims to find out the politeness strategy that used by lecturer in teaching process in English Class. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The population of this research ...is the lecturers of English Language Education Study Program. In determining the samples, the researcher used random sampling technique. Total number of sample is 3 lecturers and used observation to collect the data. The result of this study shows: (1) There are four kind of politeness strategies that commonly used by lecturers in teaching process. Such as bald on record, positive politeness, negative politeness and off record (2) The politeness strategy that commonly used by lecturers is positive politeness.
This study aims to investigate the language output resulted from physical games played as a practice to learn grammar. 20 university students were involved in a game in which they had to jump and ...throw a marker towards cue cards that contained questions in If-Conditional Type II structure. The students’ language output during the game was recorded and analyzed qualitatively. The result shows that physical game facilitates the learners to acquire new grammartical items and that it is effective to a good extent.Keywords : physical games, grammar, accuracy
Digital platforms have become central to interaction and participation in contemporary societies. New forms of 'platformized education' are rapidly proliferating across education systems, bringing ...logics of datafication, automation, surveillance, and interoperability into digitally mediated pedagogies. This article presents a conceptual framework and an original analysis of Google Classroom as an infrastructure for pedagogy. Its aim is to establish how Google configures new forms of pedagogic participation according to platform logics, concentrating on the cross-platform interoperability made possible by application programming interfaces (APIs). The analysis focuses on three components of the Google Classroom infrastructure and its configuration of pedagogic dynamics: Google as platform proprietor, setting the 'rules' of participation; the API which permits third-party integrations and data interoperability, thereby introducing automation and surveillance into pedagogic practices; and the emergence of new 'divisions of labour', as the working practices of school system administrators, teachers and guardians are shaped by the integrated infrastructure, while automated AI processes undertake the 'reverse pedagogy' of learning insights from the extraction of digital data. The article concludes with critical legal and practical ramifications of platform operators such as Google participating in education.
The aim of this research was to analyze the use of code-switching by the teachers in teaching English to 8th-grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta during an online class in the Covid-19 pandemic. ...This research was conducted (1) to find the types of code-switching and (2) to identify the functions of code-switching used by the teacher in teaching English to 8th-grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The techniques of collecting the data were observation, video audio recording, and interview. After gathering the data, the research transcribed and classified the data into the types and functions of code-switching. The result of this research showed that there were three types of code-switching and three functions of code-switching used by the teachers in teaching 8th grade students of class D and G during the online class. Based on the analysis of the data, the dominant type used was inter-sentential switching while the function that was frequently used was repetitive function. Moreover, code-switching was preferred by teachers as an effective medium of teaching specifically in language classes. Code-switching was utilized as a language strategy that helps to facilitate conversation and keeping communication as an ongoing process in the online teaching language during the covid-19 pandemic condition.
The aim of the research was to conduct a longitudinal study of motor and cardiorespiratory fitness of 5th to 7th grade elementary male and female pupils in the period from 2005 to 2020. The pupils ...(1649) were divided into 3 generation groups: the older (2005–2009), the middle (2010–2015) and the younger group (2016 – 2020). There is a noticeable decrease in flexibility among all pupils and grades of younger generations. Results indicate poorer performance of younger gener ation of 5th graders in speed and power. The 7th grade female pupils who were tested in the 2015 – 2020 period, showed a significant decline in all motor and cardiorespiratory fitness compared to the other two generation groups, except for upper body power. Every four years, an evaluation of test results should be carried out so that each Physical Education teacher in a particular school can accurately compare and standardise the obtained values.
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio napraviti longitudinalno istraživanje motoričkih i funkcionalnih sposobnosti u vremenskom razdoblju od 2005. do 2020. godine nad učenicima i učenicama od 5. do 7. razreda osnovnih škola na području grada Kaštela u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji. Testiranje je provedeno na n=1649 učenika koji su bili podijeljeni po spolu. Prvo je napravljena deskriptivna analiza za sve grupe učenika i učenica. Nakon toga je izračunata multivarijatna i univarijatna analiza varijance. Učenici su podijeljeni u 3 skupine u odnosu kada je obavljeno testiranje: stariju skupinu (2005-2009), srednju skupinu (2010–2015) i mlađu skupinu (2016–2020). Dobiveni izračuni ukazuju da je kod svih učenika, u svim razredima primjetno opadanje fleksibilnosti kod novijih generacija učenika. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na nešto lošije rezultate učenika petih razreda mlađe generacije (2015–2020) za varijable TAPING-taping rukom, TRC¬¬_60- trčanje na 60 metara i SKOK_VIS-skok u vis prekoračnom tehnikom. Kod učenica sedmog razreda koje su testirane u vremenskom period od (2015–2020) rezultati su pokazali značajno opadanje svih motoričkih i funkcionalnih sposobnosti u odnosu na druge dvije generacijske skupine, osim za varijablu bacanje medicinke od 2kg (MEDICINK). Svako četiri godine trebalo bi provesti evaluaciju dobivenih rezultata testiranjem kako bi svaki nastavnik u određenoj školi mogao precizno komparirati i normirati dobivene vrijednosti. Stoga je i cilj ovog istraživanja bio analizirati testiranja koja su obavljena u dužem vremenskom periodu te postaviti smjernice plana i programa rada kao i preduvjete za kvalitetno normiranje motoričkih postignuća kod učenika.
