The study aims to examine the issue of the relationship between Emotional stability, one of the fundamental personality determinants, and users’ Risk Averseness, on the one hand, and user behavior in ...the field of e-Commerce, on the other hand. In the beginning, a brief overview of today’s primary benchmark for the measurement of human personality – the Big Five Model is proposed. A study with 226 participants has been conducted for the aim of the research, based on the TIPI test. The TIPI test is a validated and abridged version of the Five-Factor model. The result of the conducted survey confirms the existence of significant relationships between personality determinant Emotional stability and consumer’s Risk awareness, on one side, and some of the observed main functionalities of the online stores, on the other side. Two regression models of the field of Machine Learning (Linear Regression and Random Forest) have been implemented to make a reliable forecast about the user’s preferences in the process of online shopping. The conclusions made rely on the obtained results and analysis.
Buhar türbini kullanarak güneş enerjisinden elektrik üretmek için yüksek sıcaklıklara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Yüksek ve orta sıcaklık uygulamalarında genellikle yoğunlaştırıcılı güneş enerjisi ...sistemleri kullanılmaktadır. Bu sistemlerden en yaygın kullanılanı parabolik oluk tipi güneş kollektörleridir. Bu tip kollektörlerde, parabolik bir oluk üzerine yerleştirilen yansıtıcı yüzeye düşen güneş ışınları, yansıtıcının yerleştirildiği parabolün odak noktasında yer alan bir alıcı (yutucu) boruya yansıtılarak yoğunlaştırma yapılmaktadır. Böylece alıcı boruda ve bu borunun içinden geçen akışkanda yüksek sıcaklıklar elde edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, parabolik oluk tipi yoğunlaştırıcılar üzerine teorik bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Parabolik oluk tipi kollektörlerin toplayıcı kısmı için farklı malzemeler ve geometriler kullanılarak karşılaştırmalı bir performans analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmada dört tasarım parametresi kullanılmıştır. Bunlar cam örtü çapı, emici boru et kalınlığı, emici boru çapı ve emici boru malzemesidir. Farklı parametre değerlerinin kollektörün performansı üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Performans kriteri olarak yutucu içerisinden geçirilen akışkana aktarılan faydalı ısı kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar emici boru çapı ve malzemesinin ısıl performans üzerinde kayda değer bir etkisi olduğunu, diğer taraftan emici boru et kalınlığı ve cam örtü çapının ısıl performansa kayda değer bir etkisi olmadığını göstermiştir.
This research aims to determine how the implementation of music in early childhood differs by the types of preschool institutions. The sample of the study, which was conducted with the qualitative ...research approaches, consists of 22 participants, 18 preschool teachers, and 4 school administrators working in four different types of public preschools. Research data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The school types in the study are 1 independent kindergarten, 1 primary school with preschool classes, 1 girls’ vocational high school with practice preschool classes, and 1 special education kindergarten. According to the research findings, music is used in all types of preschool institutions, and similar musical activities are carried out. However, while richer musical activities are carried out in independent kindergartens, the use of music in special education kindergartens is more limited. Independent kindergartens seem more advantageous than other school types in terms of implementing musical activities. Individual efforts of preschool teachers and their interest in music are more important in implementing musical activities. Although the participants highlight the importance of music in special education, the low skills of preschool teachers regarding the use of music in early childhood special education and the special needs of children make it difficult to use music in special education kindergartens.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi kurum tiplerine göre erken çocuklukta müzikal etkinliklerin uygulanmasının nasıl farklılaştığını belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarına göre yürütülen araştırmanın örneklemini dört farklı tip kamu okul öncesi okulunda görev yapan 18 okul öncesi öğretmeni ve 4 okul yöneticisi olmak üzere 22 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri yarı yaapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Çalışmadaki okul tipleri 1 bağımsız anaokulu, bünyesinde anasınıfı bulunduran 1 ilkokul, bünyesinde uygulama anasınıfı bulunan 1 kız meslek lisesi ve 1 özel eğitim anaokuludur. Araştırma bulgularına göre tüm okul öncesi kurum tiplerinde müzik kullanılmakta ve benzer müzikal etkinlikler yapılmaktadır. Ancak bağımsız anaokullarında daha zengin müzikal etkinlikler yapılırken özel eğitim anaokullarında müziğin kullanımı daha sınırlıdır. Müzikal etkinliklerin uygulanması bakımından bağımsız anaokulları diğer okul tiplerine göre daha avantajlı görünmektedir. İlkokullar bünyesindeki anasınıflarında okul öncesi öğretmenlerin bireysel çabaları ve müziğe ilgileri müzikal etkinliklerin uygulanmasında daha önemli hale gelmektedir. Katılımcılar tarafından özel eğitimde müziğin önemi vurgulanmasına rağmen erken çocukluk özel eğitiminde müziğin kullanımına ilişkin okul öncesi öğretmenlerin becerilerinin az olması ve çocukların özel gereksinim türleri gibi nedenler, özel eğitim anaokullarında müziğin kullanımını güçleştirmektedir.

Amaç: Çalışmada Alzheimer Hastalığı ile İlişkili Yaşam Kalitesi (AHİYK) Ölçeği – (Alzheimer’s Disease Related Quality of Life (ADRQL) Scale)’nin psikometrik özellikleri ve AHİYK ölçeği puanı ile ...bakım verenlerin duygu durumları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmanın örneklemini, evde (N=30) ve bakım evinde (N=30) bakım gören toplam 60 muhtemel AH hastasının bakım vereni oluşturmaktadır. Klinik değerlendirme ölçeğine göre evre 1 ve 2 AH hastaları çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Hastaların bilişsel durumları Standardize Mini-Mental Test (SMMT) ile değerlendirilmiştir. Fonksiyonel durumu AH işbirliği çalışması - günlük yaşam aktiviteleri (ADCS-ADL) ölçeği ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bakım verenlerin duygu durumlarını değerlendirmek için Pozitif ve Negatif Duygu Ölçeği (PANAS) uygulanmıştır. Bu parametreler, bakım veren tarafından doldurulan AHİYK ölçeği ve 5 alt boyutu ( A.Sosyal etkileşim, B. Benlik bilinci C: Duygulanım ve duygudurum, D. Etkinliklerden keyif alma, E. çevre ile etkileşim) ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Güvenirlilik açısından 3 hafta sonra AHİYK ölçeği bakım verenlere tekrar uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: AHİYK total puanı ve B alt boyutu ile ADCS-ADL ölçeği arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir korelasyon saptanmıştır (sırasıyla r=0.27, r=0.38 p≤0.05). SMMT ile AHİYK ölçeğinin toplam puanı, A, B, C alt boyutları arasında anlamlı düzeyde korelasyon saptanmıştır (sırasıyla AHİYK total puan r=0.72, A boyutu r=0.83, B boyutu r=0.47, C boyutu r= 0.43, p≤0.05). AHİYK ölçeğininnin iç tutarlılık güvenirliği için Cronbach alfa katsayısı (α) ( ( α = 0.75) hesaplanmıştır. Ölçeğin tekrarlanan test güvenirlilik sonuçlarına göre AHİYK birinci ölçüm ile ikinci ölçümün gerek toplam puanları gerek alt boyutlarının puanları, anlamlı düzeyde korelasyona sahiptir. Sonuç: Bulgular AHİYK’nın Türkçe versiyonunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.
Aim: In this study we determined the psychometric properties of the Alzheimer's Disease-Related Quality of Life (ADRQL) Scale and adapted it into Turkish. We also investigated the relationship between the ADRQL scale and the emotional states of the caregivers.
Materials and Methods: The sample of the study involves caregivers of 60 possible AD patients who are given care at home (N = 30) and nursing home (N = 30). Stage 1 and 2 AD patients were included in the study according to The Clinical Dementia Rating Scale (CDR). The cognitive status of the patients was evaluated by the Standardized Mini-Mental State Examination (SMME). The functional status was evaluated by AD Cooperative Study – Activities of Daily Living (ADCS-ADL) Scale. Positive and Negative Emotion Scale (PANAS) was applied to evaluate the emotional states of the caregivers. These parameters were compared with the ADRQL scale filled by the caregiver and its 5 subscales (A. Social Interaction, B. Awareness of Self C: Feelings and Mood, D. Enjoyment of Activities, E. Response to Surroundings). To evaluate test-retest reliability, the ADRQL scale was applied to caregivers fort the second time, after 3 weeks.
Results: There was a significant correlation between ADRQL total score and B subscale (r = 0.27, p≤0.05) and ADCS-ADL scale (r = 0.38 p≤0.05). There was a significant correlation between SMME and ADRQL scale total score, A, B, C subscale (ADRQL total score r = 0.72, A subscale r = 0.83, B subscale r = 0.47, C subscale r = 0.43, p≤0.05). Cronbach's alpha (α) (α=0.75) was used to calculate the internal consistency reliability of the ADQRL. According to the test-retest reliability results of the scale, ADRQL shows a significant correlation between both the total scores and subscales scores of the first measurement and second measurement.
Conclusion: Results show that the Turkish version of ADRQL is a valid and reliable measurement instrument.
Güneş enerjisi ısıl uygulamaları içinde önemli bir yer tutan parabolik oluk tipi güneş toplayıcısı kullanılarak 800 K sıcaklıklara çıkmak mümkün olmaktadır. Bu toplayıcılarla elde edilen yüksek ...sıcaklıklı ısı enerjisi ile buhar üretmek, elektrik üretmek mümkün olabilmektedir. Ayrıca yüksek etki değerli absorpsiyonlu soğutma sistemleri de çalıştırılabilmektedir. Dünya üzerinde bu tür çok sayıda uygulama bulunmaktadır. Ülkemizde de az sayıda da olsa uygulamalar bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, örnek olarak seçilen bir toplayıcı için termodinamiğin birinci kanuna göre, sürekli rejim halinde, enerji dengesi yazılarak denklemler çıkarılmıştır. Elde edilen denklemler kullanılarak toplayıcının ısıl analizi yapılmıştır. Toplayıcı faydalı ısı değerini ve ısıl verimini etkileyen ana parametrelerden; ışınım değeri, çevre sıcaklığı, rüzgar hızı, akışkan debisi ve akışkan giriş sıcaklığının etkisi yazılan bir program vasıtasıyla incelenmiştir. Yüksek akışkan debisi ve düşük akışkan giriş sıcaklığının verimi artırdığı bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, güneş ışınım şiddetinin büyük, çevre sıcaklığının yüksek ve rüzgar hızının düşük olduğu durumlarda daha yüksek ısıl performans elde edilebileceği görülmüştür.
Objective: The purpose of this study is to look into the relationship between coronary artery disease evaluated with multislice computed tomography (MSCT) findings and B-type natriuretic peptide ...(BNP) and calcium score (CaS).
Material and Method: The study included 83 patients who were administered to our center and who had asymptomatic and stable angina pectoris. Blood samples were collected for BNP testing, and the Abbott AxSYM System kit was used for measurements. Calcium scoring was performed on each of the four main coronary arteries, and the total “Agatston” score was calculated for each patient by summing up the results. MSCT angiograms were studied at the three-dimensional operating base.
Results: Coronary artery disease (CAD) was found in 51 (61.4%) patients, while the coronary arteries of 32 (38.6%) patients were deemed normal. Single-vessel involvement was detected in 17 (20.5%) patients, two-vessel involvement in 18 (21.7%) patients, and three-vessel involvement in 16 (19.3%) patients. While patients with CAD had a median BNP of 33.9 (0–834), those without CAD had a median of 19.2 (0–185), which was statistically significant (p=0.011). Furthermore, there was a positive correlation between the number of vessels involved and BNP (r = 0.364, p=0.001). BNP levels were found to be significantly higher in hypertensive patients (p=0.008). The CaS and BNP median of the group with three-vessel involvement were significantly higher (p < 0.001 and p=0.007, respectively).
Conclusion: As a result, high CaS and BNP levels were discovered to be a marker for the presence and severity of CAD.
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, çok kesitli bilgisayarlı tomografi (ÇKBT) bulguları ile değerlendirilen koroner arter hastalığı ile B tipi natriüretik peptit (BNP) ve kalsiyum skoru (KaS) arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Merkezimize başvuran asemptomatik ve stabil angina pektorisli 83 hasta çalışmaya alındı. BNP testi için kan örnekleri alındı ve ölçümler için Abbott AxSYM Sistem kiti kullanıldı. Dört ana koroner arterin her biri için kalsiyum skorlaması yapıldı ve sonuçlar toplanarak her hasta için toplam “Agatston” skoru hesaplandı. ÇKBT anjiyogramları, üç boyutlu işlem tabanında çalışıldı. Bulgular: 51 (%61,4) hastada koroner arter hastalığı (KAH) saptanırken, 32 (%38,6) hastanın koroner arterleri normaldi. 17 hastada (%20,5) tek damar tutulumu, 18 hastada (%21,7) iki damar tutulumu, 16 hastada (%19,3) üç damar tutulumu saptandı. KAH olan hastaların medyan BNP'si 33,9 (0-834) iken, KAH olmayanların medyan değeri 19,2 (0-185) idi ve bu istatistiksel olarak anlamlıydı (p=0,011). Ayrıca tutulan damar sayısı ile BNP arasında pozitif bir korelasyon vardı (r=0,364, p=0,001). Hipertansif hastalarda BNP düzeyleri anlamlı olarak yüksek bulundu (p=0,008). Üç damar tutulumu olan grubun KaS ve BNP medyanı anlamlı olarak daha yüksekti (sırasıyla p<0,001 ve p=0,007). Çok değişkenli lojistik regresyon sonuçlarına göre BNP ve yaş KAH varlığı ile ilişkili bulunmazken CaS ilişkili bulundu. Sonuç: CaS, KAH varlığı ile ilişkili bulundu. Yukarıda belirtilen ilişkileri doğrulamak için daha fazla çalışma yapılmalıdır.

Er:YAG lazer; LED; mikrosertlik; ofis tipi beyazlatma; pürüzlülük; renk değişimi, Abstract Objective: The aim of the current study was to investigate the effect of bleaching of 40% hydrogen peroxide ...without any light activation, with LED light activation or with Er:YAG laser activation on colour change, surface microhardness and surface roughness. The experimental groups were the group bleaching gel was applied without any light activation (Group J), the group bleaching gel was activated with LED light source with a wavelength of 385-515 nm and power of 3200 mW/cm2 (Group LED) and the group bleaching gel was activated with Er:YAG laser in the VLP mode (1000 ps pulse time) with 50 mJ energy and 10 Hz frequency (Group Er:YAG). Statistical analysis was carried out with Oneway ANOVA test. Results: In all bleaching groups, the color change was found to be above the visual detection threshold, but there was no significant difference between the groups. (p>0.05).
