The resources that nature offers to human beings are of course not infinite, unless there is a conscious and careful use, an "end" is coming in terms of natural resources. Preventing waste of ...resources, protecting nature and gaining the habit of recycling are now inevitable in order for healthy generations to continue their lives and to increase their economic development levels. There are not enough studies in the literature on the subject. The current study aims to determine the levels of individuals' behaviors and attitudes regarding the subject. The literature review section is divided into two sections. The first section briefly explains the recycling issue. The second section includes studies on recycling in Turkey and in the world. The current study measured and determined the focus group's level of awareness about recycling. SPSS was used to analyze the data. A total of 4885 people participated in the study. 60.8% of the participants were women and 39.2% of them were men. Participants had an average score of 106.04 (SD = 17.80) from the environmental awareness and sensitivity scale and considering that the maximum score to be obtained was 140, the participants were at a partially good level in terms of environmental awareness and sensitivity.
Doğanın insanoğluna sunduğu kaynaklar elbette ki sonsuz değildir, bilinçli ve dikkatli kullanım olmadığı sürece doğal kaynaklar açısından da bir “son” mümkündür. Hem sağlıklı nesillerin yaşamaya devam etmesi hem de ekonomik kalkınmışlık düzeylerinin artırılması için kaynak israfını önlemek, doğayı korumak ve geri dönüşüm alışkanlığı kazanmak günümüz insanı için artık kaçınılmazdır. Dünya ülkelerinin de bu durum hakkında farkındalık düzeyinin artmasıyla ve doğayı korumak kaygısı ile atıkların yeniden kullanıma kazandırılması noktasında birçok farklı yöntem arayışı devam etmektedir. Bunun için de ihtiyaç duyulan şey yerel çözümler üretmek ve insanların konu hakkında bilinçlenerek davranışlarının değiştirilmesini teşvik etmektir. Konuya ilişkin literatürde yeterince çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmada geri dönüşüm konusunda Türkiye ve Dünyada yapılan çalışmaların ve temel kavramsal tanımlar ile güncel istatistiki verilerin yer aldığı literatür kısmı ile geri dönüşüm konusu açıklanmıştır. Seçilen hedef kitle üzerinde, geri dönüşüm konusundaki bilinç düzeyini ölçme ve tespit etme amacıyla bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmaya toplam 4885 kişi katılmıştır. Katılımcıların %60,8 i kadın, %39,2 si erkektir. Katılımcıların çevre bilinci ve duyarlılığı ölçeğinden aldıkları ortalama puan ise; 106,04 (st.sapma=17,80) şeklindedir ve buradan alınacak maksimum puanın 140 olduğu düşünüldüğünde, katılımcıların çevre bilinci ve duyarlılığı noktasında kısmen iyi bir düzeyde oldukları tespit edilmiştir.
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı örgütler açısından sapkın ve yıkıcı davranış biçimleri olarak görülen kariyerizm eğilimi ve ahlaki çözülme eğilimlerinin A tipi kişilik özelliği kapsamında etkilerinin ...analiz edilmesidir. Bu doğrultuda sosyal bilişsel teori ve kontrol odağı ilkesi teorileri kapsamında kariyerizm eğiliminin birey bazında öncüllerini belirlemek amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada kariyerizm eğilimi kavramının A tipi kişilik özelliği ve ahlaki çözülme eğilimi kavramlarıyla etkileşimi ele alınmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında önce konular hakkında kuramsal ve kavramsal çerçeve oluşturulmuş daha sonra özel bir banka çalışanlarına yönelik uygulama yapılmıştır. Bu çerçevede araştırma örneklemini Konya’da faaliyet gösteren özel bir bankanın çalışanları oluşturmaktadır (n=360). Araştırma örnekleminden soru formu aracılığıyla veriler elde edilerek bu veriler AMOS ve SPSS programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz kapsamında doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, korelasyon analizi ve yapısal eşitlik modeli analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre A tipi kişilik özelliğinin kariyerizm eğilimi üzerinde pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Diğer yandan A tipi kişilik özelliğinin ahlaki çözülme eğilimi üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin bulunmadığı belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte kariyerizm eğiliminin ahlaki çözülme eğilimini pozitif yönlü anlamlı olarak etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın son bulgusu olan A tipi kişilik özelliğinin kariyerizm eğilimine etkisinde ahlaki çözülmenin aracı etkisi tespit edilememiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre ahlaki çözülme eğiliminin kariyerizm eğilimini güçlendirdiği, A tipi kişilik özelliğinin de kariyerizm eğilimini arttırdığı belirlenmiştir.
Background: The high interest in short scales to measure personality traits has created a need for psychometric studies to validate such scales in different languages and cultures. There has recently ...been increasing interest in the study of personality in late life. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity of the Persian version of the Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) among older Iranians. Design: In this cross-sectional, psychometric study, 160 individuals older than 60 years were selected usingmulti-stage and convenience sampling methods. Data were collected using the Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) and the NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO.FFI). The face, content, and convergent validity of the TIPI were examined, and its reliability was evaluated using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and test-retest reliability. Results: In general, the Persian version of the TIPI had acceptable psychometric properties for measuring the Big Five personality traits in older adults in terms of test-retest reliability (ICC = .92, p = .000) and convergent validity (r = .411, p ˂ .00). Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate that the TIPI is a valid and reliable tool for measuring the Big Five personality traits.
Enerjinin temel kaynağı olan güneşi insanoğlu geçmişten günümüze doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak kullanmıştır. Sanayi devrimi ile birlikte insanoğlu bu enerji ihtiyacını yüzyıllar boyunca fosil ...kaynaklar ile gidermiştir. Ancak bu fosil kaynaklar çok büyük çevre problemlerine (küresel ısınma, buzulların erimesi, canlı türlerinin yok olması vs.) yol açmaktadır. Ayrıca fosil yakıtların kullanılması ile enerji yönünden devamlılığın sağlanması imkansızdır. Bütün bu sebepler yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından enerji elde etmeyi zorunlu kılmıştır. Bu çalışmada; Farklı güneş radyasyon verilerine sahip olan Türkiye’nin İki farklı bölgesinde bulunan Samsun, Bayburt (Karadeniz Bölgesi) ve Mersin (Akdeniz Bölgesi) şehirlerine şebekeye bağlı 3 kW, 5 kW ve 10 kW kurulu güce sahip çatı tipi güneş enerji santrali modellemesi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca 7,224 kWh günlük enerji talebini karşılayacak şebekeden bağımsız çatı tipi Güneş Enerjisi Santrali (GES) modellemesi de yapılmıştır. Bu modellemeler, PVGIS, PVsyst ve HOMER simülasyon programları ile yapılmıştır. Çatı tipi GES modellemelerinin üretim ve maliyet analizleri yapılarak yatırım yapılabilirlik seviyeleri incelenmiştir.
The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric
properties of the Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) in a French-speaking
sample (1,554 participants, 59.3% of women). Our results showed ...that the French
version of the TIPI has acceptable psychometric properties with satisfactory
levels of temporal stability (after three and six weeks), satisfactory
convergent and divergent construct validity in relationship with the Big Five
Inventory (BFI), emotional intelligence, and self-esteem. As in the other
translations of the TIPI, the limitation of our adaptation is the low level of
internal consistency, especially concerning agreeableness, as in the Spanish
version. The French TIPI is a promising scale that should be used preferably for
exploratory purposes.
In this paper, effective g -factors of the electronsin Kane type GaAs semiconductor in the infinite potential wellin the presence electric field and magnetic field have been calculated. The magnetic ...field was applied parallel to interfaces in the z direction and electric field F was applied perpendicularly to the interfaces along the y direction. g-factor as a function of the oscillation center was constant for ground state andparabolic for first excited in uniform magnetic field was without electric field. When the electric field was present, Lande-factor according to oscillation center decreased linearly for ground state and was non parabolic for first exited level in uniform magnetic field. We have found out that g-factor increase as the electric field increase. Magnetik alan kuyunun sınır yüzeyleri arasına z-ekseni boyunca, elektrik alan F, y-ekseni boyunca yüzeylere dik uygulandı. Sabit elektrik alan yokken elektronun etkin g-çarpanının değeri, osilasyon merkezinin bir fonksiyonu olarak, taban durumu için sabit, uyarılmış durum için ise parabolikti. Sabit magnetik alanda, elektrik alan uygulandığında Lande çarpanının osilasyon merkezine göre değişimi, taban durumu için düzgün azalırken ilk uyarılmış durum için parabolik değildi. The Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) is a widely used instrument based on a personality framework measuring five dimensions: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability, ...and Openness to Experiences. The aim of this study was to establish a scale to assess dental students’ professionalism by adding to the TIPI's five dimensions a set of descriptors that define professional behavior in dental students. The resulting Patient Management and Professionalism Scale (PMPS) was then tested with a cohort of graduating students at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. To develop the scale, one clinic director and a patient care coordinator from four clinics wrote descriptive statements for each of the five dimensions based on their observations of dental students in the context of their clinical experiences. These descriptors were compiled into a single scale. The PMPS demonstrated good scale reliability and interrater agreement and correlated significantly with students’ patient management grade scores and cumulative GPA at the end of their fourth year. Exploratory factor analysis showed the presence of a single factor (professionalism) with all five dimensions loading highly on this factor, accounting for 66% of variance in scores. While a useful standardized measure to assess professionalism in dental students, the PMPS also has a flexible format that makes it easy for other schools to use.
The study examined data about 8438 children placed in out-of-home care by Child Protection Services in a region in the Northern Italy, during the time span of 2008-2012, to understand whether ...out-of-home placements led to an effective improvement in their conditions. Starting from literature analysis and available data, a range of outcome and process typologies was developed in order to analyse data. In particular, five outcome types (in family, stable; out of family, stable; adopted; on-going placement; unknown) and six process types (evolving; regressive; oscillating; static out-of-home; uncertain at home; undetectable) were detected. Each type was divided into sub-types. Then each child was given a tag attuned to an outcome and a process type. Descriptive analysis about outcomes and processes was carried out. The types and sub-types used in the study seemed to be a useful instrument for analysing the children's paths outside their birth families. Implications for social work are discussed.
