The aim of the work was to detrmine the effect of dietary As additions 39,6 micro gAs2O3/g) on selenium and iodine concentration in eggs of laying hens. 49 weeksold Rhode Island Red laying hens were ...included in the experiment. In eggs, collected from the 8th to the 19th days, arsenic, selenium and iodine were determined with radiochemical neutron activation analysis and the resultswere expressed on dry matter basis. The concentration of arsenic in whites was higher than in yolks. Selenium and iodine contents were higher in yolk than in white. The arsenic content in feed had no effect on selenium and iodine concentration in eggs.
