Water electrolysis process has been around for many years, primarily utilized for hydrogen production. Obtained hydrogen is then used directly in industrial plants, or can be produced and stored ...using utility power during off-peak hours, therefore improving utilities load factor, and used to generate additional power during utility peak-demand hours. Presented example will use water electrolysis process for preparation of alkaline ionized water. Latest research in medical and health fields indicates, that drinking alkaline ionized water has beneficial effects on body well-being and can preventively threat certain form of diseases. Beneficial properties of water are gained by water electrolysis and are higher pH value, higher ability of anti-oxidation, negative electric charge and smaller water molecule clusters. This paper describes basic features of water, alkaline ionized water and it%s preparation with water electrolysis.
