    Djokić, Danila ; Martinčič, Peter
Increasing socially responsible behaviour does not mean only the exercise of standards of corporate social responsibility and the communication of these with the public to build a better public ... image. Socially responsible decision-making and reporting has become a central issue for the future development of the EU and the world. Companies concerned will need to disclose information on policies, risks and outcomes as regards environmental matters, social and employee-related aspects, respect for human rights, anti-corruption and bribery issues, and diversity in their board of directors. Article explores the disclosure of CSR corporate information by the public companies in the Republic of Slovenia (RS) to provide guidelines for the further development of the CSR in Slovenia in accordance with the evaluated EU strategies. Publicly accessed data's have been scrutinized in the annual and business reports, as well as the articles of association and the other applicable internal acts of the Slovenian public companies, listed on Ljubljana Stock Exchange. The 22 companies were analysed taking in the consideration their disclosure of the CSR principles. Research RS2015 indicates that the content of the CSR information of the public companies in RS have not been properly developed, yet. It is therefore necessary to follow the EU legal framework on CSR more diligently to be able to follow the goals of %eco-efficiency% and others that determine the notion of the CSR. The aim of companies has become coordination and integration of many relationships and goals towards maximization of the total added value for each of the member groups. CSR makes sense if it serves as a strategic tool for achieving the objectives of the existence of the company. Companies that will disclose the corporate information to the stakeholders and respect the principle of the social responsibility in practice are going to build their organisational identity simultaneously.
