The impact of the pulp and paper industry on the environment in recent decades has sharply decreased. The industry is constantly evolving and improving, decreases the amount of toxic air emissions, ...discharges to water and environmental danger for natural environment. Despite this, it remains a problem. In this paper an attempt is made to analyze the life cycle of containerboard, which is the most popular of all types of packaging. Life cycle assessment (LCA) identifies the potential impact of products on environment during their life cycle, from mining of raw materials, production processes, use, until its disposal.
