One might argue that many instruments for measuring consumers' satisfaction can be adapted and applied to a) field of education, b) field of preschool education and c) to Slovenian context. Our ...argument is that transferring concepts, and also related measurement instruments is highly contested activity which can lead to 'problematic' if not 'alienated results'. In order to ground our argument into data the purpose of the paper is firstly, to address language differences, secondly to point out the 'elusive nature' of definitions in the area of satisfaction and thirdly, to present our case from methodological point of view.
