This study presents the status of Six sigma in Slovenia and in Serbia. Research is oriented in research of today?s challenges of Slovenian and Serbian manufacturing companies and relates possible ...responses of the companies with the use of Six sigma methodology. Research reveals the most common barriers to Six sigma implementation in Slovenia and Serbia. Benefits of Six sigma and risks at Six sigma implementation in the company are presented. Comparison study of key impact factors for Six sigma implementationin Slovenia and Serbia is presented. This topic hasn't been analyzed by any researcher yet and present unique study on the field of Six sigma in transition countries.
