    Modern globalized societies face continuous changes. Many changes raise the question of sustainability in different areas of development including the legal issues of management. The paper presents ... the role of an important area the labour law which may influence the motivation of the employees, the productivity and the standard of living in changing societies. The research identifies the similarities and differences in regulation of the phenomenon of the employeesʼ participation in management and extracts the good models and principles which may be presented and offered as the good regulatory practice. The research results present the fact that in different European countries the social dialogue is considered an essential element of the industrial democracy. The comparative research results point out also some other common values arising from the legal regulation of the employeesʼ participation in management.
