Activation of innovation potentials of medical staff in design of new telemedical applications in Slovene hospitals [Elektronski vir]

In several leading EU regions it was independently found out that clinics have high potentials for innovations in product, processes and service development in biomedical industry. In the paper, the ...case of the ongoing process of transformation of hospitals from non-innovative to innovative ones is presented through the implementation of the InTraMed project in Slovenia. The ultimate goal of the project is to activate the innovation potentials of hospitals which should become major actors in regional development, employment and wellbeing through transfer of knowledge to SMEs and industry. The Action plan and Implementation plan will be presented. Also the case of activation and realization of innovative ideas of medical doctors at University Clinical Centre (UCC) of Ljubljana and Pulmonary Clinic Golnik related to ICT/ telemetrically applications will be presented.
