    ...the encouraged students gave higher ratings of clinical case presentations (encouraged: mean = 2.8; discouraged: mean = 2.0; P = .007) and bedside teaching (encouraged: mean = 3.0; discouraged: mean = 2.1; P = .002), further emphasizing the propositions of Issa et al.1 Moreover, multivariate analysis revealed a significant difference between the 2 groups on the skills they had achieved during the internship, including practical competences, specialty knowledge, and team work (P = .000) with "pro-surgery" medical students giving better ratings all over. ...we strongly agree with the points raised by Issa et al1 and the need for a "structured, educationally sound, and rewarding clinical rotation for medical students."
