    Highlights • Retrospective survey of 15,445 individuals who donated peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) or bone marrow (BM) between 1992 and 2009 • Almost 95% of responders assessed their health conditions as very good or good • No differences in the frequency of reported health events between PBSC and BM donors • No evidence that either PBSC or BM donation are associated with increased risks of malignancies
