    The purpose of this study are, to know the results of the implementation of group guidance services to improve of self regulated learning grade class VII.1 Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Metro, group guidance services can to improve self regulated learning class VII.1 Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Metro. The study design using action research. Subjects in this study, researchers took VII.1 grade students of SMPN 1 Metro. With a sampel of 10 students from 30 students. The method used in collecting data by observation and field notes. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. The results of this study, it can be concluded that the results obtained through the implementation of group guidance to improve self regulated learning student. Increased self regulated learning learners in cycle I seen from the average percentage of 27.2% and in the second cycle of 75%, resulting in an increase in self regulated learning of 47.8%. Impact of the changes to learn and the ability of learners to understand the subject matter included planning, self monitoring, and  self reflection/ evaluation in learning. Through group guidance services provided by the counseling teachers can improve learners' self-regulated learning VII.1 grade SMPN 1 Metro. The results showed that group guidance services can improve self-regulated learning in students. This research is directed to teachers of guidance and counseling in schools in order to use this group guidance services as one of the efforts to improve the self-learning of students.
