  • Modelling with genetic programming

    This paper proposes a genetic programming approach for solving of three different production problems: 1. modelling of self-organizing assembly system, 2. evolutionary modelling of robot behaviour, ... and 3. evolutionary system identification in metal forming industry. In conceiving of assembly system, we showed that evolutionary process can successfully cope with the huge number of different production scenarios. In modelling of robot behaviour three different tasks are set to the robot: travelling to the goal, avoiding the obstacles, and picking the loads. The best decision strategy of the robot was developed with simulated evolution. In system identification, the mathematical expressions for flow stress was genetically evolved.
