  • Use of electronic catalogs for planning of machining processes

    The tool makers most frequently offer the data on their tools and appurtenant cutting conditions in the form of catalogs. Recently, the data on theri tools of some makers have appeared on compacts ... discs. Electronic catalogs of tools contain the data on the tool of different makers. Further development is going on in such a direction that the tool users will be able to obtain all the necessary information through internet. The Internet can be efficiently used in modernly organized computer-supported system for tool management. By means of Internet it is possible to follow up particualry the products and novelties of the individual tool makers and to become familiarized with their ranges of products sold.
