  • Management requisitely holistic complex business problem-solving [Elektronski vir]
Rosi, Bojan ; Mulej, Matjaž ; Potočan, Vojko
Over the recent decades deep changes have happened - and keep happening - radically changing the given social, and especially economic, system. Hence, in the modern turbulent life resulting from the ... unstoppable impact of all encompassing globalization, we can and may not allow our-selves to lack capacity to systemically, i.e. requisitely holistically think and recognize attributes of potential problem situations. This capacity depends crucially on the capacity and will to attain a high quality in defining the starting points (both subjective and objective ones) as ones' basis to deal with processes of mastering or solving current complex problematiques (which are around increasingly permanently). With this capacity one can complete up the available capital of knowledge and innovation-friendly values. Many investigators find that existence and quality of human lives depend on human capacity (knowledge and will) to think requisitely holistically, as a basis for efficient and effective action. This thinking enables us to more easily discover and understand, in the course of our complex and dynamic life, the interdependences, complexities of situations and processes, their network and networking chance, chances of synergetic completing up, adaptation needs, etc. It makes us increasingly able to (interdisciplinarily) co-operate creatively and innovatively. This effort can receive support from Rosi's new systems theory called Dialectical Network Thinking (DNT).
