    Health-educational work with population aged 65 years or more, aimed at healthier and more qualitative life is described in the article. It stresses and states the significance of needs concerning ... nursing care and education, and defines the aims that consider an individual with all his/her characteristics of the age, the execution of corresponding programmes and their evaluation: The significance of the aged people self-image and its influence on his/her acceptance of life during health and illness is also emphasized. The process of pedagogical work with elderly people and the personality of nursing personnel are described.
