    It has been established that geomechanical, chemical and biological properties of sludges produced in slovenian papermaking industry are so convenient that they can be used as sealing materials in ... nonhazardous municipal and industrial landfill closing. Primary papermill sludges have high content of inorganics, law leachability, good biological stability as well as very low hydraulic permeability coefficient, which makes them suitable building materials. Paper production is likely to become more efficient due to the fact that most of its waste may be reused as secondary raw material.
