    The levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH) and testosterone in serum and seminal plasma were related to the sperm concentration in 83 fertile and infertile men. FSH ... levels in sera of azoospermic men were significantly elevated compared to those of normal men (P<0,05), and FSH levels in the seminal plasma were significantly lower than serum FSH in men with normozoospermia (P<0,05). LH levels in the seminal plasma of normozoospermic men were significantly elevated (P<0,01), but in oligozoospermic and azoospermic men there were no significant differences. Testosterone levels in the seminal plasma of normozoospermic, oligozoospermic and azoospermic men were considerably lower than the normal range found in blood serum.
