The Adriatic-Ionian area occupies a very strategic position between three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. Furthermore, it has a key position along trade routes of major global importance. A ...number of recent trends such as globalization and growth in international and intercontinental trade, the opening up of eastern Europe and the rerouting of intra-European trade flows provides a new opportunity for the development of the Adriatic Sea ports and for the re-definition of their roles as critical nodal points within the wider area transport network. The aim of this paper is research and analysis of the possibility of redefining the roles of all ports in the observed area with particular attention to all possible transport specializations and cooperation agreements. The above mentioned will be achieved by defining quality labels and indicators.
In the paper importance is given to the organization of the supply chain for a more efficient delivery of goods to city centers. The ultimate goal is to bring the product/goods to the end customer/consumer as soon as possible, on time, at the lowest cost, in perfect condition and in the appropriate quantity. The mutual coordination and cooperation of all participants in the supply chain can result in a satisfied end-user/customer. The development of information - telecommunication technologies - will greatly affect the future development and efficiency of the supply chain by finding new transport solutions that would mostly affect city centers. The paper mostly emphasizes the context of the delivery conditions in Rijeka's city center with a proposal for the location of a future centralized distribution center.
Nautički turizam zauzima vrlo bitno mjesto u razvoju gospodarskih djelatnosti pojedine zemlje te se drži bitnim čimbenikom za razvitak turizma uopće. To je poseban oblik turizma koji se, po svojim

Svrha rada je ukazati na važnost nautičkog turizma za gospodarstvo Hrvatske koja se ogleda u financijskimm i drugim rezultatima što ga taj vid turizma ostvaruje. U ovom radu autori analiziraju sadašnje stanje nautičkog turizma u Hrvatskoj te ističu prednosti izgradnje novih marina u Hrvatskoj. U cilju utvrđivanja prednosti i nedostataka nautičkog turizma u Hrvatskoj u odnosu na okruženje te mogućnosti daljnjeg razvoja, daje se prikaz istraživanja Tomas Nautika Yahting iz 2012. godine. Doprinos ovog rada ponajprije se ogleda u analizi prethodnih istraživanja te u donošenju mogućih mjera za daljnji razvitak nautičkog turizma u Hrvatskoj Poseban cilj rada ogleda se u provedbi SWOT analize i prezentiranju rezultata putem SWOT matrice.
Nautical tourism has become an increasingly popular way of respite, and for a country possessed of nautical capacities it represents a very important factor in the development of tourism in general. ...Strategy for the development of nautical tourism for the period 2009-2019 has predicted a special nautical capacity growth for the Ličko-senjska County, which is not particularly abundant in nautical capacities. In accordance with the respective spatial plans, also containing decisions adopted in respect of future development of nautical tourism, there were five proposed locations taken in account in this paper for the selection of a suitable location in the Ličko-senjska County. Using the multi-criteria analysis and the VISUAL PROMETHEE software program, location 1-Novalja was selected as the most suitable one. The contribution of this work is primarily reflected upon the analysis of previous research works and the adoption of possible measures for further development of nautical tourism in the Ličko-senjska County.
