This research aims to determine the relevance that the use of chatbots has gained. We conducted a scientific literature review and mapped the research trends that address the paradigms of using ...chatbots, in achieving benefits in education, communication, or economics, as well as the benefit that this technology provides in the field of health. It is required to find the most suggested architecture used for a distributed chatbot system in e-commerce to automate human-machine communication through natural language queries. Personalized conversational agents are promising tools to complement existing online resources for mathematics education. The results revealed that these applications positively affect the current medical sector and we determined that chatbots are designed to interact with people in mostly text-based conversations. In conclusion, chatbots are very useful, easy to adapt, and used more continuously in research and also in health applications that require symptom tracking and treatment.

Resumen
El interés de investigación es determinar de la relevancia que ha ganado el uso de los chatbots. Llevamos a cabo una revisión de la literatura científica y mapeamos las tendencias de investigación que abordan los paradigmas del uso de los chatbots. para conseguir un beneficio ya sea en la educación, comunicación o economía, así como el beneficio que brinda esta tecnología en el ámbito de la salud. Se requiere encontrar el área más sugerida y utilizada de un sistema de chatbot para automatizar la comunicación hombre-máquina mediante consultas en lenguaje natural. Los agentes conversacionales personalizados son herramientas prometedoras para complementar los recursos en línea existentes para la educación matemática. Los resultados dieron a conocer que estas aplicaciones afectan positivamente en el sector de la medicina actual y determinamos que los chatbot son diseñados para interactuar con las personas en conversaciones basadas en su mayoría de manera textual. Concluimos que los chatbots están siendo más requeridos en el área de la medicina debido a que estos llegan a brindar información sobre salud y tratamientos, recordatorios de citas y medicamentos, sin embargo, deben ser supervisados por profesionales de la salud y no reemplazar al médico.

Con el avance de la tecnología y el bajo costo para el acceso ilimitado a medios informáticos de procesamiento de información que van desde hojas electrónicas, software de gestión administrativa y ...financiera, hasta los más avanzados ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) hace de las tecnologías de la información – TI uno de los recursos más importantes dentro de las empresas; y por lo tanto, estas aplicaciones deben cumplir con normas de control interno que aseguren y garanticen a las partes interesadas los principios de la seguridad de la información. Este artículo expone los riesgos de tecnología a los que está expuesta la información y un detalle de buenas prácticas para su gestión, se realiza también una breve reseña sobre la regulación local para la aplicación de las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera NIIF, la cantidad de empresas existentes en el Ecuador y cuántas de estas usan aplicaciones informáticas para el procesamiento de información con la finalidad de establecer un contexto claro sobre la importancia de gestionar el riesgo de seguridad de la información, utilizando para ello varias buenas prácticas como COBIT, ISO 31000, ISO27005, MAGERIT u OCTAVE según las necesidades de las compañías.
Gradients in dissolved gas concentrations are expected to affect the performance of large reactors for anaerobic gas (CO, H2, CO2) fermentation. To study how these gradients, and the dissolved gas ...concentration level itself, influence the productivity of the desired product ethanol and the product spectrum of C. autoethanogenum, we coupled a CFD model of an industrial-scale gas fermentor to a metabolic kinetic model for a wide range of metabolic regimes. Our model results, together with literature experimental data and a model with constant dissolved gas concentrations, indicate high ethanol specificity at low dissolved CO concentrations, with acetate reduction to ethanol at very low dissolved CO concentrations and combined ethanol and acetate production at higher CO concentrations. The gradient was predicted to increase both the biomass-specific ethanol production rate and the electron-to-ethanol yield by ∼25%. This might be due to intensified ferredoxin and NAD+ redox cycles, with the rate of the Rnf complex – a critical enzyme for energy conservation – as key driver towards ethanol production, all at the expense of a reduced flux to acetate. We present improved mechanistic understanding of the gas fermentation process, and novel leads for optimization and fundamental research, by coupling observations from various down-scaled lab experiments to expected microbial lifelines in an industrial-scale reactor.

The study of the optical properties of graphene oxide (GO) is crucial in designing functionalized GO materials with specific optical properties for various applications such as (bio) sensors, ...optoelectronics, and energy storage. The present work aims to investigate the electronic transitions, optical bandgap, and absorption coefficient of GO under different conditions. Specifically, the study examines the effects of drying times ranging from 0 to 120 h while maintaining a fixed temperature of 80°C and low temperatures ranging from 40

, with a constant drying time of 24 h. Our findings indicate that exposing the GO sample to a drying time of up to 120 h at 80°C can lead to a reduction in the optical bandgap, decreasing it from 4.09 to 2.76 eV. The
transition was found to be the most affected, shifting from approximately 230 nm at 0 h to 244 nm after 120 h of drying time. Absorption coefficients of 3140-5507 ml mg

were measured, which are similar to those reported for exfoliated graphene dispersions but up to two times higher, confirming the improved optical properties of GO. Our findings can provide insights into determining the optimal temperature and duration required for transforming GO into its reduced form for a specific application through extrapolation. The study is complemented by analyzing the elemental composition, surface morphology change, and electrical properties.
In large-scale syngas fermentation, strong gradients in dissolved gas (CO, H
) concentrations are very likely to occur due to locally varying mass transfer and convection rates. Using ...Euler-Lagrangian CFD simulations, we analyzed these gradients in an industrial-scale external-loop gas-lift reactor (EL-GLR) for a wide range of biomass concentrations, considering CO inhibition for both CO and H
uptake. Lifeline analyses showed that micro-organisms are likely to experience frequent (5 to 30 s) oscillations in dissolved gas concentrations with one order of magnitude. From the lifeline analyses, we developed a conceptual scale-down simulator (stirred-tank reactor with varying stirrer speed) to replicate industrial-scale environmental fluctuations at bench scale. The configuration of the scale-down simulator can be adjusted to match a broad range of environmental fluctuations. Our results suggest a preference for industrial operation at high biomass concentrations, as this would strongly reduce inhibitory effects, provide operational flexibility and enhance the product yield. . The proposed scale-down simulator can be used to validate such results and to obtain data for parametrizing lumped kinetic metabolic models that describe such short-term responses.
En la presente investigación el objetivo general fue analizar jurídicamente la participación sociopolítica de la mujer afroecuatoriana en la comunidad San Francisco de Caldera, Carchi, Ecuador. Esta ...investigación utilizó como metodología el enfoque cualitativo, se ha hecho uso de varias fuentes bibliográficas a fin de conseguir información real y actualizada para poder alcanzar el objetivo planteado frente al problema jurídico. En esta modalidad no se usan las mediciones numéricas debido a que se enfoca en las características subjetivas de cada persona, manera de pensar o vivencias personales, en este caso de los moradores de la comunidad San Francisco de Caldera en la provincia del Carchi, que participaron en la entrevista. Se aplicó un muestreo no probabilístico intencional, seleccionando 6 informantes clave. Se concluye que, existe una problemática que recae en la falta de participación sociopolítica de la mujer afroecuatoriana en la comunidad de San Francisco de Caldera, provincia del Carchi.
