This paper derives Leibniz's rule with n = -1 and shows that it may be used to simplify extended integration by parts in certain examples which occur in the derivation of Fourier series. A simple ...derivation of the general Taylor expansion with integral remainder form is also obtained.
A decade ago, food security focused on the availability of a food supply, not on the umbrella concept that today encompasses quality (nutrition, taste), safety (healthful, not harmful) and ...availability (supply). How concerned are the consumers? Food security is apparently taken for granted; only nine-percent of consumers surveyed expressed concern. Food retailers were deemed most accountable for ensuring food safety, and farmers/producers and food processors were assumed most responsible for food quality, but food security drew ambiguous responses. Monitoring identifiable points of vulnerability the sites, considering the cost to the industry, would add about $255 to the consumer's annual food bill.

During the past two years the attention of archaeologists and collectors has been directed toward peculiar types of chipped stone objects purportedly found in Delaware County, Oklahoma. Professional ...opinion is divided as to the authenticity of these specimens and various stories about them are in circulation. Although the specimens exhibit a large variety of shapes, the general pattern and type of workmanship recalls the so-called “eccentric flints” of British Honduras and Guatemala. For these reasons, it is felt that the facts so far as they are known should be presented.
Contradictory views exist concerning astigmatism and its causes. Most consider it to be a structural anomaly following genetic and age patterns. Other attribute an undefined functional origin to the ...various forms of astigmatism. An investigation has revealed a relationship between changes in astigmatism and an observable triad consisting of eye scan, head movement, and head posture. This relationship is described and a model developed. Indications also exist that changing elements within this triad can have a positive effect in reducing astigmatism.
The contract of insurance is a foun-dation upon which the formal commu-nication process between insurers and policyholders could be built. However, the cumbersome nature of many policies often ...distracts from rather than contrib-utes to mutual understanding. In short, policyholders find these insurance contracts...
