Speech humor in MTGW program is assumed as a "good practice" of pragmatic strategy to entertain, inspire and motivate audience. The focus and objective of this study is to get a description of the ...pragmatic strategy of harmonizing word choice, sentence, and humorous language in MTGW program. How pragmatic strategies have implications for the use of words, sentences, and language styles so that the audience feel entertained and laughed. This research uses desciptive qualitative approach. Data in the form of humorous languages is collected by listening and recording. The method of analysis is padan and agih. The word data, sentence, and style of the humorous language are linked and compared to other words, sentences, and language styles in terms of humorous sense between sentences produced and comparator sentences. As a result, the pragmatic strategy MT uses in the MTGW program on Metro TV is to harmonize between lingual units of words, sentences, and language styles with humor and courtesy. MT uses a locusive and illocusive strategy with humorous tones and politeness in choosing, organizing and producing every word, sentence, and style of humor. Through the choice of words, sentences, and language style, the MT uses pragmatic strategies in conveying his message as a motivator and the perlocutionary effect is that the audience becomes interested or entertained.
Artikel ini berjudul Wacana Raksasa Rahwana Dasamuka dalam “Dibawah Bendera Revolusi“. Bung Karno adalah presiden pertama Republik Indonesia yang produktif menulis atau mengarang. Bahasa yang ...dimanfaatkan dalam karangannya terikat konteks. Kata dan gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam karangannya merupakan wujud aksi dan reaksi terhadap konteks kondisi sosial, ekonomi dan politik yang memprihatinkan sebagai akibat sistem ekonomi kapitalis yang dijalankan penguasa asing-Belanda. Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan paparan faktual, obyektif dan ilmiah tentang “pemikiran, sikap dan gaya” Bung Karno dalam membahasakan raksasa Rahwana Dasamuka (selanjutnya disingkat RRD) dalam tulisan-tulisannya. Sampel yang dijadikan wilayah perburuan untuk memotret gaya membahasakan wacana RRD adalah teks-teks buah pikiran Bung Karno yang dikumpulkan menjadi satu buku dengan judul “Dibawah Bendera Revolusi“(DBR). Tulisan Bung Karno yang terhimpun dalam buku DBR berbentuk retorika persuasif. Wacana yang dimanfaatkan sebagai senjata persuasif antara lain adalah wacana RRD, simbol Kapitalisme, Imperialisme, dan Kolonialisme-Imperialisme. Wacana RRD digelar untuk membangun resistensi terhadap penjajah, yaitu pemerintahan asing-Belanda di Indonesia ketika itu. Jenis kata yang dimanfaatkan untuk menghidupkan wacana RRD adalah kata benda, kata kerja, kata sifat, kata seru, kata bilangan dan kata ganti orang. Kata-kata yang berjenis apa pun dan dari ragam, bidang serta bahasa mana pun, selama fungsional-produktif untuk membangun struktur wacana (sistem makna atau cara pandang yang diinginkan) RRD cenderung dimanfaatkannya. Dalam wacana RRD, Bung Karno dominan memanfaatkan metafor, seperti personifikasi, ironi, sinisme dan sarkasme. Gaya bahasa hiperpola, repetisi, erotesis dan antitesis pun dimanfaatkannya. Semua gaya bahasa tersebut dimanfaatkan untuk membangun struktur wacana Raksasa Rahwana Dasamuka. simbol kejahatan dan keserakahan yang harus ditumpas. Dengan pilihan kata dan gaya bahasa tersebut, Bung Karno seperti menyediakan cara membaca, dan cara menyikapi RRD sebagai jelmaan kapitalis-imperialis. Pikiran, sikap dan perilaku gemas, dongkol dan garang pembaca seperti dibentuk dan dirahkan ke “buto” Raksasa Rahwana Dasamuka simbol keserakahan dan kejahatan.

In general, strengthening civic education and religious character education from an early age in Indonesia is still important because this is part of a process that has never been completed. This is relevant to the spirit of change and sustainability from era to era. In this case, the challenges can be said to be not small. More than that, the opportunity may also be greater to be optimized for the realization of unity in diversity and the progress of the nation.
Children's literature has now begun to shift to digital media, known as children’s animation. Instead of children's literature being created for children, these works are written, edited and ...distributed by adults. This shows that adults (parents) have full power over the work that children will consume. Colonialism theory then questions what it means to write for children. This research appears with the real assumption of where the child is positioned in children’s cyber literature. The postcolonial approach is used to verify this assumption. The results show that children are treated as objects, a means to endure real problems faced by adults. It appears that writing for children in addition to exploring is also stuffing and imposing the will for the needs of adults: guiding children, training children through the process of reaching civilization which is again the power of adults to define it.
Gisik Cemandi is a village that manages with community-based. Therefore, the types of tourism that have the most potential to be developed are religious tourism and marine tourism. Unfortunately, ...Gisik Cemandi is still constrained in the development of tourism from year to year due to the lack of community expertise in branding, promotion, and mapping of economic potential in the development of marine tourism. Seeing this opportunity, the ITS Development Studies Department has assisted in branding activities and promoting marine tourism in Gisik Cemandi. The community service program includes branding counselling for marine tourism for two months. The purpose of this service is for Gisik Cemandi Village to have its trademark so that tourists easily recognize it. Furthermore, the Team will promote social media to attract tourists to travel to Gisik Cemandi Village. The result of this community service is the video promotion profile of Gisik Cemandi and the logo of Pesona Bahari as a trademark of Gisik Cemandi.

Desa Gisik Cemandi merupakan desa dengan kategori desa swasembada. Jenis-jenis wisata yang paling berpotensi untuk dikembangkan di desa ini adalah wisata religi dan wisata bahari. Namun, dari tahun ke tahun, Desa Gisik Cemandi masih terkendala dalam pengembangan wisata tersebut karena kurangnya keahlian masyarakat dalam melakukan branding, promosi, pemetaan potensial ekonomi dalam pengembangan wisata bahari. Melihat peluang tersebut, Tim Pengabdian Departemen Studi Pembangunan ITS telah melakukan pengabdian dalam bentuk pendampingan terhadap kegiatan branding dan promosi wisata bahari di Desa Gisik
Cemandi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi penyuluhan branding Desa Wisata Bahari selama dua bulan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan agar Desa Gisik Cemandi memiliki trademarknya sendiri sehingga mudah dikenal oleh para wisatawan. Selanjutnya, Tim Pengabdian akan melakukan promosi melalui media sosial untuk menarik wisatawan agar berwisata di Desa Gisik Cemandi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah dihasilkannya
video profile dan logo Pesona Bahari Desa Gisik Cemandi sebagai sarana promosi pariwisata.
