Limitations on more than one aspect, cause multiple disability visual impairment (MDVI) students to experience obstacles in carrying out daily activities related to self-care skills. Students need ...adaptive behavioral learning to provide them with self-reliance. However, teaching materials for adaptive behavior learning are limited. Teachers need teaching materials that can accommodate the learning process of adaptive behavior for students with MDVI. This study aims to develop mind-mapping-based teaching materials for adaptive behavior. Research and development refer to the steps of the ADDIE model. The results of the study explain that the teaching materials are feasible based on assessments from material experts, media experts, and practitioners so that they can be used in the learning process. The teaching materials developed can be the solution for teachers in the process of teaching adaptive behavior for students with MDVI to be skilled in carrying out daily activities.
Background: Sufficient physical activity is a lifestyle that must become a habit in the elderly so that it can reduce the incidence of non-communicable diseases. This study aims to determine the ...correlation self-efficacy with physical activity in the elderly. Methods: The research study design was cross sectional on 106 elderly people aged >60 years in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. Collecting data by interview using the global physical activity questioner (GPAQ) and the self-efficacy for exercise scale (SEE). Data were analyzed descriptively and analytically; the relationship was obtained if p<0.05.Results: Most of the respondents have high physical activity (58%), 29% have medium physical activity, and 13% have low physical activity. There is a correlation between self-efficacy and physical activity (r=0.60, p=0.000). In addition, there is also a correlation between comorbidities (r=0.33, p=0.018) and occupation (r=0.631, p=0.000) with physical activity. Conclusions: Sufficient physical activity influenced by self-efficacy, occupation, and comorbidities as much as 40% and 60% explained by others.

The use of upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) for treating deep‐seated cancers and large tumors has recently been gaining momentum. Conventional approaches for loading photosensitizers (PS) to UCNPs ...using noncovalent physical adsorption and covalent conjugation had been previously described. However, these methods are time‐consuming and require extra modification steps. Incorporating PS loading during the controlled UCNPs assembly process is seldom reported. In this study, an amphiphilic copolymer, poly(styrene‐co‐maleic anhydride), is used to instruct UCNPs assembly formations into well‐controlled UCNPs clusters of various sizes, and the gap zones formed between individual UCNPs can be used to encapsulate PS. This nanostructure production process results in a considerably simpler and reliable method to load PS and other compounds. Also, after considering factors such as PS loading quantity, penetration in 3D bladder tumor organoids, and singlet oxygen production, the small UCNPs clusters displayed superior cell killing efficacy compared to single and big sized clusters. Therefore, these UCNPs clusters with different sizes could facilitate a clear and deep understanding of nanoparticle‐based delivery platform systems for cell killing and may pave a new way for other fields of UCNPs based applications.
Controlled formation of upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) clusters of various sizes (individual; dimer and trimer; small and big clusters) is achieved via regulation of poly(styrene‐co‐maleic anhydride) polymer to UCNPs weight ratio used during the assembly process. The small‐sized UCNPs‐Ce6 clusters (60 nm) are the best performing nanocarrier when compared to single and big UCNPs‐Ce6 clusters, displaying enhanced tumor cell killing efficacy.
