This article discusses the efforts of Islamic boarding schools to form educational moderation, models of moderation and the implications of pesantren education moderation. The design of this study ...was qualitative with a theological and pedagogical approaches. The informants of this research wre the leaders, religious teachers, administrators, and students. Furthermore, the data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation. To test the validity of the data, triangulation of data was performed. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely: reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing from the data. The findings of this study were; first, the pesantren efforts in shaping education moderation by socializing all forms of extremism and radicalism to the studensts, choosing teaching materials or books that are free from extremist values and radicalism, designing moderate curriculum and learning methods. Second, the education moderation model that integrates learning and collaboration with the life of pesantren. Third, the implications of educational moderation for pesantren were in forms of; positive community assessments of pesantren, increasingly moderate community, and making pesantren as a reference for the community.

Peneitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan relevansi antara Kurikulum Merdeka pada Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Pelajaran PAI dengan pemikiran pendidikan dalam perspektif al-Ghazali. Untuk tujuan penelitian ini, digunakan penelitian pustaka dengan pendekatan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran pendidikan Islam Imam al-Ghazali tentang kurikulum pendidikan Islam sangat relevan dengan konsep Kurikulum Merdeka, di mana relevansinya tampak pada adanya Trilogi Hubungan, yaitu: hubungannya dengan nilai Ketuhanan, Kemanusiaan dan Kealaman pada desain kurikulum hasil pemikiran al-Ghazali dengan Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka.

Perennialism posits ideas on the necessity for humans to acclimate and modify their behavior in response to shifts in the world. Character education, with the perennialism theory, focuses on how individuals conform to the inherent good principles inside themselves. Perennialism in character education emerged as a response to and remedy for the cultural turmoil in contemporary society. The concept of perennialism advocates for a return to the past by reinstating the enduring values and ideals that were deeply ingrained in ancient societies. Character education is a means to attain a reversion to the fundamental values and principles of life. To ensure the preservation of Indonesian identity in future generations, The Perennialism ideology is a viable option that should be implemented in character education. The findings of this research are anticipated to have a substantial impact on the formulation of enduring character education strategies, aimed at cultivating a generation that possesses not only academic proficiency but also a firm grounding in the esteemed principles of the nation and the teachings of Islam

Multi-signature is a protocol where a set of signatures jointly sign a message so that the final signature is significantly shorter than concatenating individual signatures together. Recently, it ...finds applications in blockchain, where several users want to jointly authorize a payment through a multi-signature. However, in this setting, there is no centralized authority and it could suffer from a rogue key attack where the attacker can generate his own public keys. Further, to minimize the storage on blockchain, it is desired that the aggregated public-key and the aggregated signature are both as short as possible. In this paper, we find a compiler that converts a kind of identification (ID) scheme (which we call a linear ID) to a multi-signature so that both the aggregated public-key and the aggregated signature have a size independent of the number of signers. Our compiler is provably secure. The advantage of our result is that we reduce a multi-party problem to a weakly secure two-party problem. We realize our compiler with two ID schemes. The first is Schnorr ID. The second is a new lattice-based ID scheme, which via our compiler gives the first regular lattice-based multi-signature scheme with a key-and-signature size independent of the number of signers without a restart during the signing process
Religious and cultural peacebuilding models have been formed in Indonesia, including in Tanjung Isui, East Kalimantan. While conflicts related to religion and culture have been increasing lately. ...Therefore, the study aims to investigate peacebuilding formation, including interreligious and intercultural processes in communities on Tanjung Isui. The analysis used in this study is ethnographic qualitative. The interreligious process that took place in Tanjung Isui Community occurred because religion forms local theological value system and becomes worldview of the community. The community mastered intercultural competencies such as appreciating other culture, adaptability, behavioral flexibility, strengthening interaction, identity management and interaction, awareness of differences, and cultural communication. While the elements building harmony in Tanjung Isui are the leadership spiritual role as mediator, wealth of values and culture, then cooperation between religious and cultural followers.
Federated learning is a machine learning technique where multiple clients with local data collaborate in training a machine learning model. In FedAvg, the main federated learning algorithm, clients ...train machine learning models locally and share the trained model with the server. While the sensitive data will never be sent to the server, a malicious server can construct the original training data by having access to the clients’ models in each training round. Secure aggregation techniques such as cryptography, trusted execution environment, or differential privacy are used to solve this problem. However, these techniques incur computation and communication overhead or affect the model’s accuracy. In this thesis, we consider a secure multi-party computation setup where clients use additive secret sharing to send their models to multiple servers. Our solution provides secure aggregation as long as there are at least two non-colluding servers. Moreover, we provide mathematical proof to show that the securely aggregated model at the end of each training round is exactly equal to the one provided by FedAvg without affecting accuracy and with efficient communication and computation. In comparison with SCOTCH, the state-of-the-art secure aggregation solution, experimental results show that our approach is 557% faster compared to SCOTCH and at the same time it reduces the communication cost of clients by 25%. Additionally, the accuracy of the trained model is exactly as FedAvg under balanced, unbalanced, IID, and Non-IID data distributions while it is only 8% slower.
Human Resources Management (HR) encompasses various crucial aspects of organizational management. One primary challenge involves recruiting and retaining high-quality talent. The objective of this ...research is to explore human resource management in relation to (1) the recruitment of human resources and (2) the development of human resources. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to examine the human resource management practices at MTs Alam Al Hafidz and SMP IT Atsaqibiyah in Bontang City. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique employed is interactive analysis, consisting of data collection, condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that (1) meticulous recruitment and selection of human resources contribute to ensuring the engagement of high-quality teachers and staff in the educational process. (2) Investing in coaching for teachers is crucial to enhance their ability to teach and guide students in memorizing the Koran. This encompasses various aspects such as training, rights fulfillment, salary payments, communication, and skills.
