The use of direct speech is surprisingly rare; journalists mostly summarize the news sources' statements, referring to the reports of foreign news agencies & media organizations which lead to double or even triple references. There is also some inconsistency as to indicating the borders between the author's part of the text & the news source's opinion. This article presents the findings of the first research into editors' views of journalism education in Slovenia. The results of a mail survey and in-depth interviews reveal that although the vast ...majority of editors are not particularly familiar with the curriculum of current journalism studies, they identified a broad general knowledge and practical journalistic knowledge as the curriculum's advantages, with-inconsistently-the latter also being described as the curriculum's main deficiency, together with the lack of any knowledge of special fields such as law and economics. The editors' negative attitudes to journalism education are grounded less in actual knowledge of what the Journalism Faculty offers its students than a priori convictions and stereotypes about journalism graduates being incompetent theorists. Factors in the media and in society that might be hindering journalists' professionalism are overlooked, while the blame for editors' negative experiences with journalism graduates is almost exclusively ascribed to the Faculty. Although the Slovenian university journalism curriculum has been reformed several times in the past few decades, the old image of the Faculty of Social Sciences as a remnant of the old communist political school is still firmly grounded in the mentality of Slovenians, yet rejected by the editors.
Članak analizira interdiskurzivnu strukturu televizijskih izvještaja u dnevnim emisijama
vijesti slovenske javne televizije Televizija Slovenija i komercijalne televizijske
kuće POP TV tijekom 2005. ...I 2006. godine. Metodom kritičke analiza diskursa
i jezično-stilskom analizom proučavan je veliki broj televizijskih izvještaja,
forma, struktura i jezičnih stilova te jezične i vizualne komunikacijske tehnike.
Dnevno emitiranje vijesti jedinstvena je i jedna od najsloženijih formi priopćavanja
vijesti koja kombinira govor, zvuk i vizualne slike. Autor analizira sadržaj i
funkciju konstitutivnih elemenata televizijskog izvješća, kao što je najavna špica
(lead-in), odjavna špica (lead-out), glas spikera, verbalni i vizualni uvod, početak i
završetak kao i semantička sveza među njima. Naglasak je na vizualizaciji i grafičkoj
obradi; ulozi voditelja vijesti, te na pitanjima njegove impersonalnoj vlasti i
prava da se koristi izravnim govorom. Miješanje stilova i individualnih diskurzivnih
elemenata različitih žanrova, posebice interpretativnih elemenata informativnih
novinarskih tekstova potaknulo je promatranje rastućeg populističkog diskursa
kao posljedica vijesti koje stvaraju građani (news anchor), pričanje priče
(storytelling), naglašavanje emotivnih komponenata i personificiranju događaja.
Nejasna razlika između informacije i vijesti te mišljenja novinara te nestanak čistog
i kvalitetnog komentara u slovenskim dnevnim vijestima pobuđuju ozbiljnu
brigu o ulozi televizijskog novinarstva u demokratskom društvu. Usred poplave
medija i informacija dostupnih društvu, prvenstvena zadaća i izazov slovenskom
televizijskom novinarstvu jest stvarna verbalna i vizualna prezentacija važnih problema,
zajedno s činjenicama koje ih okružuju u javnosti, a da ih se pritom ne
pretvara u osobne priče.
Službe za odnose s javnostima pojavile su se kao odgovor na sve veće potrebe
za “kultiviranjem” odnosa među različitim društvenim akterima i medijima
zbog specifičnih okolnosti suvremenoga ...kapitalizma. Razvile su se u uvijek dostupne,
jeftine i zato neizostavne partnere u procesu medijske produkcije. Novinari
njihovim priopćenjima za javnost i konferencijama za novinstvo posvećuju
veliku pozornost, a s time je povezan i sve veći utjecaj tih službi na suvremeni
novinarski diskurs. Analiza televizijskih novinarskih tekstova i usporedba
s informacijama koje svaki dan dolaze u uredništva otkriva visoki stupanj
posve netransparentnih izvora informacija, a prevladavaju materijali službi
za odnose s javnostima. Takve rutinski dobivene informacije, potpuno su
pripremljene i često neizmijenjene dolaze do publike. Daleko najčešći, i u novinarskim
tekstovima najočitiji, su “pravi” službeni izvori informacija – nositelji
društvene, gospodarske i političke moći i vlasti. Informacija tako nije više
pravo, nego privilegij, što negativno utječe – ne samo na novinarstvo kao
profesiju – nego i na društvo općenito.
Domaće i strane novinske agencije predstavljaju novinarima osnovne izvore vijesti.
Zato je za kvalitetan novinarski diskurs važna jednostavnost, točnost, pouzdanost
i nepristranost agencijskih ...informacija.
Ovaj članak daje pregled kako Slovenska tiskovna agencija (STA) citira ili sažima
mišljenja i stajališta svojih izvora. Koristeći lingvističko-stilističku metodu,
autori analiziraju lingvistička sredstva referiranja u izvještajima STA. Njihovo istraživanje
otkriva uporabu širokog raspona glagola koji označavaju govor, razmišljanje
i shvaćanje, za što se može reći da je posljedica pokušaja novinara da izbjegnu
monotoniju ponavljanja i pišu tekstove življim jezikom.
Ono što iznenađuje jest da je uporaba upravnog govora dosta rijetka, a ima i
nedosljednosti u jasnom razgraničavanju autorskog dijela teksta i onoga koji to
nije: naime, često nije jasno je li informacija stajalište izvora vijesti ili prikriveni
komentar novinara.Novinari uglavnom sažimaju izjave izvora vijesti, pozivajući se na izvještaje
drugih novinskih agencija i medijskih organizacija, a posljedica je dvostruko ili
čak trostruko referiranje (često je nejasno ili se teško razumije).
Uporaba sintaktičke strukture kojom se izražava nepouzdanost u svezi s nekim
događajem ili stanjem, često je suvišna ili pretjerana. To se može shvatiti kao neznanje
novinara o pravilnoj uporabi te strukture i pretjerana briga da se citati prenesu
što je moguće “objektivnije”. U većini slučajeva korisnik agencijskih tekstova
nije “obični čitatelj”, nego novinar ili urednik koji želi najnoviju informaciju u
najčišćem obliku. To je razlog zbog čega novinske agencije obično imaju jasne i
shematizirane načine pisanja teksta bez stilističke originalnosti.
The concept of circular economy has become an important topic during the last decade, because it offers a systems solution framework that creates a closed-loop system to minimize waste and maximize ...resource efficiency in order to achieve a better balance and harmony between economy, environment and society. The construction industry has significant potential to apply a circular economy model since this industry is responsible for considerable global natural resource extraction and solid waste production. Worldwide, more than 10 billion tons of construction and demolition waste are produced annually, while the demolition alone is responsible for 50% of all waste produced by the building sector. In Serbia, the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fishing, mining, manufacturing, electricity, gas and steam supply, water supply and wastewater management, construction and service activities generated 56.3 million tons of waste just during 2020. Although 80% of construction waste can be recycled according to the Agency for Environmental Protection reports the waste recycling has not yet been established in Serbia. On the other hand, Serbia adopted the Roadmap for Circular Economy in Serbia, the Law of Waste Management, the Regulation on the Manner and Procedure of Waste Management from Construction and Demolition, and accepted the conditions of the European Union for linking the European Green Deal with the strategic development of the region by signing the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans. This paper provides a brief literature review that introduces the circular economy by presenting its origin, definition and principles as well as the barriers (five categories: technological, economic, socio-cultural, institutional and regulatory) to its wider adoption in the construction sector.
