In order to increase the profits of companies, and their efficiency, a modern and valuable management method called Pareto analysis was used. This model was discovered by Vilfredo Pareto, an Italian ...economist in 1897, hence the name of this analysis. It is also called the 80/20 analysis, which can show us that few causes generate many results in most cases.
Pareto analysis was used to determine the most vital drugs dispensed from the pharmacy, from the point of view of the sales made and the supply process of the community pharmacies.
In this study, the importance of the Pareto method was highlighted in the selection of the most valuable preparations in 10 community pharmacies in the city of Constanța over a period of 12 months, 01.05.2021-01.05.2022. The results obtained validate the Pareto method, 5 of the 10 formulations taken into the study gave approximately 80% of the total value of the pharmaceutical formulations.
The obtained results indicate that the Pareto analysis is an important tool that can be successfully used by the pharmacy manager

The present study is a retrospective study including 174 patients in the Urology Clinic of Constanta County St. Apostle Andrew Emergency Hospital in the period 2016-2020. Patients were divided into 2 groups: Group A and Group B. Group A includes patients with anatomopathologically confirmed diagnosis of urothelial carcinoma, while in Group B are patients who do not present a diagnosis of urothelial carcinomas.
In this study the influence of environmental factors on the occurrence of urothelial carcinomas was compared in order to draw conclusions on the occurrence and development of these types of neoplasms.

Seborrheic dermatitis is a globally prevalent condition affecting individuals of all ages, influenced by both genetic factors and environmental exposures. These factors can trigger the onset ...or exacerbation of the condition in those with pre-existing epidermal barrier dysfunction. It presents as a more aggressive form of dandruff, manifesting with pronounced symptoms including red patches or scales on the scalp, and a combination of dry and oily skin. Although not contagious, seborrheic dermatitis can lead to discomfort due to itching, unsightly clothing marks, and even social unease. This dermatological issue, sometimes referred to as seborrheic eczema, can pose diagnostic challenges due to its resemblance to other allergic reactions or skin conditions like psoriasis.
The seborrheic dermatitis market can be segmented based on treatment, diagnosis, dosage form, route of administration, end users, and distribution channels. Understanding the growth within these segments is essential for identifying areas with lower growth potential and providing market stakeholders with valuable insights to make strategic decisions.
This study aims to assess the real impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life of seborrheic dermatitis patients in Romania. The findings suggest that the emergence of the COVID-19 virus significantly disrupted public health, exacerbating various skin and systemic conditions, including those affecting the central nervous system (CNS). Over the course of two years, individuals with seborrheic dermatitis have had to adapt to new social norms, such as wearing protective masks and utilizing necessary detergents and disinfectants, which could potentially aggravate their condition.
Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a significant public health problem due to its increasing prevalence, being considered a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, thus being an important cause of ...morbidity and mortality globally. NICE (The UK’s National Institute for Excellence in Health and Care) states that people diagnosed with diabetes (both type 1 and type DZ 2) have a three times higher risk of being diagnosed with depression compared to those who do not have diabetes. Studies on the association of diabetes mellitus in the elderly and neurocognitive disorders have highlighted the increased incidence of dementia in this type of patient, the latter representing a risk factor for the development of strokes. The purpose of the study: to study the presence of neurocognitive dysfunction and the presence of depression in patients who simultaneously present type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension, and the correlations between clinical-psychiatric indicators (MMSE score and GDS-15 score) and paraclinical indicators (blood glucose level, HbA1c, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL- and LDL-cholesterol), as well as blood pressure values at admission, during hospitalization and at discharge. 120 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and HTA were examined, who followed the treatment at the National Institute of Geriartry and Gerontology “Ana Aslan” in Bucharest, registered between April 2021 and April 2022.
Conclusions: According to the data exposed, it can be stated that there is a high probability of the development of cerebral suffering, which can generate cognitive decline of various stages of severity, in decompensated diabetic patients.

Objectives. Quality management includes good practices in transfusion activity, an important part of which is limiting the rejection of labile blood products. The objective of this study is to analyze the use and rejection of blood products in the Constanza County Emergency Clinical Hospital between 2012–2021, including 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Material and method. The work presents a retrospective study of transfusion activity over a period of 10 years, with the analysis of units of labile blood products rejected compared to the number of units transfused to hospitalized patients.
Results and discussions. In our institution, with a large number of transfused patients and a very large volume of administered blood products, the rejection was on average 1.82% (3,887 rejected products out of the 213,869 received products). Most rejected products were erythrocyte concentrates (1491 units). The good practice measures implemented have led to a decrease of the number of rejected products, with a reduction of the number of rejected units in the last 3 years by an average of 142 units per year.
Conclusions. Quality assurance is a legal obligation in the transfusion sector. The implementation of the norms of good practice according to the Order M.S. no.329 / 2018 led to the decrease of the number of rejected products from 2.81% in 2018 to 1.16% in 2021. An increasingly restrictive blood test is used.

Gastric bypass and other weight loss surgeries - known collectively as bariatric surgery - involve making changes to the digestive system to help the patient lose weight. The present study highlights significant weight loss between approximately two years and six years, and the highest percentage is of patients who have lost more than 50 kg through bariatric surgery, and aims to explore the benefits or risks of bariatric surgery in the ENT field. The purpose of the research is to deepen and research the ENT manifestations following bariatric surgery.

The present study is a retrospective study that includes 174 patients from the Urology Clinic of the „Sfantul Apostol Andrei” County Emergency Clinical Hospital in Constanta in the period 2016-2020.
In the study, the 174 patients were divided into 2 groups. The first group is a study group and includes patients with an anatomopathologically confirmed diagnosis of urothelial carcinoma, while the second, control group, contains patients without a diagnosis of urothelial carcinoma. This study analyzes the metabolic disorders associated with bladder cancer.
There is a highly statistically significant association between hematuria and urothelial carcinoma.
The present study confirms a significant association between urinary tract infection and bladder cancer. The infection is associated due to the presence of blood in the urine, being an environment for the development of bacterial cultures.
