This paper analyzes the personal career planning of teachers in higher education institutions, the influencing mechanisms, and the influencing factors. A systematic GMM model was constructed by ...combining differential GMM estimation and horizontal GMM estimation, and the systematic GMM estimation commonly used in dynamic panels was improved and applied using more effective instrumental variables and continuously updated objective functions. The results of the GMM analysis obtained through the selection of the influencing factors showed that the proportion of senior teachers’ willingness to personal career development and planning decreased by -0.04 and 0.02, respectively, and the proportion of negative development to total development willingness increased by +0.02 and +0.01, respectively, and the proportion of positive development to total development willingness increased by +0.03 and +0.01, respectively, and all of them were significant at the 1% level.
This paper focuses on the outcome-oriented OBE concept and the teacher information-based teaching model. Then, a regression model was constructed to study teachers’ ability to teach in information ...technology, and the correlation between variables was studied using regression equations and significance tests. The influencing factors of teachers’ informatization teaching ability enhancement were studied through the indicators of teacher factor, school factor, and policy training, and the strategies of teachers’ informatization teaching ability enhancement in higher education institutions were proposed. The study showed that the overall mean value of teachers’ factors among the influencing factors was 4.09, and the mean values of motivation and self-efficacy were greater than 4 points. The overall mean value of school factors was 3.9, the overall mean value of policy training was 3.55, and the mean values of training, policy, and competition were all greater than 3. This study provides some references and ideas for improving teachers’ information technology teaching abilities in higher education institutions.
Accelerating the coagulation process and preventing wound infection are major challenges in the wound care process. Therefore, new multifunctional wound dressings with procoagulant, antibacterial, ...and antioxidant properties have enormous potential for clinical application. In this work, biodegradable hydrogels containing herbal extracts are prepared for wound dressings. First, the active ingredients are extracted from Amaranthus spinosus (A. spinosus) and Rubia cordifolia (R. cordifolia) and added to the hydrogels prepared from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), carrageenan, and sodium alginate. Then the composite hydrogels are air‐dried to obtain the wound dressings. The wound dressings prepared in this work have good biocompatibility and moisture retention. The mechanical properties of the wound dressings are further improved with the addition of MCC. Besides, the wound dressings have excellent procoagulant, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties due to the presence of R. cordifolia extract. Overall, the most effective group of wound dressings with different ingredient formulations reduces clotting time by 75% and largely inhibits bacterial growth. The wound dressings perform well in the animal wound models to promote wound healing. These results indicate that the hydrogel wound dressings prepared in this work have great potential for medical applications.

Endothelial cell injury and apoptosis induced by oxidative stress serve important roles in many vascular diseases. The repair of endothelial cell vascular injury relies on the function of local ...endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs). Our previous study indicated that epimedin C, a major flavonoid derived from Herba epimedii (yin yang huo), could promote vascularization by inducing endothelial-like differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells C3H/10T1/2 both in vivo and in vitro. In view of the significant cardiovascular protective effects of Herba epimedii, we detected a protective effect of epimedin C on hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced peroxidation injury in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and the role of EPC in this process. The results show that epimedin C increased the expression of the stem cell marker, CD34 and PROM1, and subsequently enhanced the expression and function of vascular endothelial growth factor and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 in local vascular endothelial cells. In conclusion, epimedin C protects H2O2-induced peroxidation injury by enhancing the function of endothelial progenitor HUVEC populations.
Objective
The effects of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is still unclear. The objective is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tDCS in ...improving symptoms in patients with KOA.
Methods
The following electronic databases were searched for eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs): PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library. The search was performed from the inception dates to April 30, 2023. Data extraction and quality assessment were performed by two independent reviewers. Standard mean differences (SMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) for pooled data were calculated. A random‐effects model was used for the data analyses. The primary outcomes were pain and physical function. Secondary outcomes included stiffness, mobility performance, quality of life, pressure pain tolerance, and plasma levels of brain‐derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).
Results
This meta‐analysis included 13 RCTs. tDCS was significantly associated with pain decrease compared with sham tDCS (SMD = −0.62, 95% CI −0.87 to −0.37, P < 0.00001). When comparing tDCS plus other non‐tDCS with sham tDCS plus other non‐tDCS, there was no longer a significant association with pain decrease (SMD = −0.45, 95% CI −1.08 to 0.17, P = 0.16). The changes in physical function were not significantly different between the tDCS and sham tDCS groups (SMD = −0.09, 95% CI −0.56 to 0.38, P = 0.71). When comparing tDCS plus other non‐tDCS with sham tDCS plus other non‐tDCS, there was still no significant association with improvement in physical function (SMD = −0.66, 95% CI −1.63 to 0.30, P = 0.18). There was no significant difference with improvement in stiffness (SMD = −0.21, 95% CI −0.77 to 0.34, P = 0.45), mobility performance (SMD = 4.58, 95% CI −9.21 to 18.37, P = 0.51), quality of life (SMD = −7.01, 95% CI −22.61 to 8.59, P = 0.38), and pressure pain tolerance (SMD = 0.30, 95% CI −0.09 to 0.69, P = 0.13). There was a statistically significant reduction in plasma levels of BDNF (SMD = −13.57, 95% CI −24.23 to −2.92, P = 0.01).
Conclusion
In conclusion, tDCS could significantly alleviate pain, but it might have no efficacy in physical function, stiffness, mobility performance, quality of life, and pressure pain tolerance among patients with KOA.
The modified Korteweg–de Vries–sine-Gordon (mKdV–sG) equation is one of the models describing few-cycle-pulse optical solitons beyond the slowly varying envelope approximation. By introducing the ...velocity resonance mechanism to multiple soliton/breather solutions, it is found that the mKdV–sG model possesses abundant soliton molecule (SM), breather molecule (BM) and breather–soliton molecule (BSM) structures. Every SM includes only two solitons, a BM can be constructed by arbitrary number of breathers and a BSM can be formed from one or two solitons and arbitrary number of breathers. Though the interactions among the separated solitons and breathers are elastic, the size (the distances among solitons in a same molecule) will be changed after the interaction. Prospects of the studies overviewed in this work are given in the conclusions.
An AB modified KdV (AB-mKdV) system which can be used to describe two-place event is studied in this manuscript. Because the AB-mKdV system is considered as a special reduction of the famous AKNS ...system, the properties of the AKNS system are first revealed by using symmetry analysis. The nonlocal symmetries related to truncated Painlevé expansion, the finite transformation, and the symmetry reduction solutions of the AKNS system are presented. The corresponding Bäcklund transformations and the interaction solutions of the AB-mKdV system are constructed based on the special reduction. The results demonstrate that the AB-mKdV system possesses many kinds of interaction solutions, such as the interactions between kink and soliton and kink and cnoidal waves. The soliton can be changed from bright to dark during propagation.

Integrable systems constitute an essential part of modern physics. Traditionally, to approve a model is integrable one has to find its infinitely many symmetries or conserved quantities. In ...this letter, taking the well known Korteweg-de Vries and Boussinesq equations as examples, we show that it is enough to find only one nonlocal key-symmetry to guarantee the integrability. Starting from the nonlocal key-symmetry, recursion operator(s) and then infinitely many symmetries and Lax pairs can be successfully found.
