Purpose. The article is devoted to the description of methodical approaches and techniques, ways to develop professional competencies of teachers to improve the quality of the educational process in ...modern Russian universities.
Methodology. The main methods of research were the following: theoretical analysis (analyzing psycho-pedagogical and methodological literature, researching educational and methodological materials), empirical research (observation during the teachers’ class visits, filling out the class attendance checklist).
Results. The main result of the article was a description of the basic principles of basic methodological training of teachers of higher education using modern educational technologies.
Practical implications. The results of the research can be applied to the training of teaching staff and scientific-pedagogical workers, as well as in the field of additional professional education of teachers at Russian universities.
Why do fashion brands enter the metaverse when the benefits of using this virtual reality space are not yet clear to the industry? What motivates them to venture into the complex world of digital ...platforms and ecosystems? Do luxury and fast fashion companies share the same motivations for entering the metaverse? These research questions guide the study which seeks to understand the motivational factors driving fashion brands to establish a presence in the metaverse. To achieve our research objective, we employ qualitative research methods and follow a grounded theory approach. Through a content analysis of publicly available website publications containing insights from fashion industry leaders, we identify commonalities and distinctions in the motivational factors leading luxury and fast fashion brands into the metaverse. The study contributes to the theoretical comprehension of the metaverse as a new strategic platform for the fashion industry and highlights practical implications intended to assist industry managers contemplating entry into this virtual reality space.
At present day, silver nanoparticles are widely used in different fields of human activity. Due to the unique combination of physical and chemical properties, silver nanoparticles have high ...reactivity and antibacterial activity against microorganisms. For the same reason, silver nanoparticles can render a cytotoxic effect on eukaryotic cells. The usage of different polymeric compounds as stabilizers can allow reducing of it and saving antibacterial activity. With this regard, the examination of new nanoparticles' stabilizers is a vital task. In addition, for the safe usage of silver nanoparticles it is necessary to estimate some of their physical properties and cytotoxicity. Here we evaluated the shape, size, UV-visible absorption, fluorescence, z-potential and cytotoxicity of single silver nanoparticles and nanoparticles, stabilized by polyvinyl alcohol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium dodecyl sulfate, sodium oleate and agarose. We found that nanoparticles stabilized by all investigated polymeric compounds with the exception of sodium dodecyl sulfate and sodium oleate did not possess significant cytotoxic effect on the test cell culture.
Synthesis, FTIR spectral study, and X-ray diffraction analysis of single crystals of (CH3)4NUO2(mba)3 (I), (CH3)4NNpO2(mba)2(NO3) (II), (CH3)4NPuO2(mba)2(NO3) (III), and (CH3)4NNpO2(mba)(NO3)2 ...(IV), where mba is a monobromoacetate ion (CH2BrCOO–), were conducted. The main structural units of crystals I–IV are mononuclear anionic complexes of the AnO2(mba)3−, AnO2(mba)2(NO3)−, or AnO2(mba)(NO3)2− composition. All these complex units are characterized with the same crystal-chemical formula AB 01 3 (A = AnO2 2+ and B 01 = CH2BrCOO– or NO3 –). Using the method of molecular Voronoi–Dirichlet polyhedra, the contributions of various types of noncovalent interactions into the formation of supramolecular structures of the obtained complexes were characterized. The analysis of coordination modes of all monobromoacetate-containing compounds from the Cambridge Structural Database was accomplished. Actinide contraction in the studied compounds is discussed.
Currently, metal nanostructures are widely used in medical, microbiological, and veterinary practice. Silver nanoparticles are especially promising as antimicrobial agents, becauseno published data ...regarding antimicrobial resistance are available. Whiledeveloping preparations based on metal nanoparticles, an important remainingissue is the choice of a stabilizer, introduction of which during the synthesis ensures the preservation of structures at the nanoscale range, and, consequently, relevant main characteristics, including biocidal properties. The object of the study was to investigate silver nanoparticle aqueous dispersions stabilized by natural and synthetic polymeric compounds. Routine strains of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria were used as experimental models: S. aureus 209 P, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Proteus mirabilis ATCC 3177 (O-form), Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 31488, obtained from the Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products. The antimicrobial activity of diverse variants of silver nanoparticle aqueous dispersions was assessed by serial dilution platingon dense nutrient medium. In this work, we examined no effect of silver nanoparticles without stabilizers, because their absence led to rapid agglomeration of nanostructures and loss of nanoscale characteristics. The highest sensitivity of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria was foundto the action of ansilver nanoparticle aqueous dispersions stabilized by polyazolidinammoniumand modified with iodine hydrate ions. Drug working concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 3% had a bactericidal effect against pathogens of purulent-inflammatory diseases, and the minimum working concentration of 0.125% led to decreased colony-forming units by 2057% for diverse bacterial strains. Silver nanoparticles stabilized with sodium dodecyl sulfate showed high efficiency against the studied test strainsprobably due to the high toxicity of the stabilizer used as was previously established during a comprehensive safety assessment using biotest objects and cell cultures. In this regard, its use as a component of antimicrobial preparations is not preferred. The results of the studies showed that among the variants of silver nanoparticle aqueous dispersions, preparations stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol and polyazolidinammonium modified with iodine hydrate ions are the most promising for use in biomedical practice, because they demonstrate a high level of antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as causative agents of purulent-inflammatory diseases and a low toxicity level. This allows us to recommend them as safe and effective antimicrobial components indisinfectants, as well as antiseptic preparations for prevention and treatment of skin and soft tissue infectious diseases.

The results from two experiments show that the number and framing of customer care activities affect customer orientation perceptions (Study 1) and that their fit with the overall retailer's image and the level of professionalism required to carry them out affects store patronage intentions (Study 2).

The article presents data on the detection of mould fungi in the system of Aesculus hippocastanum – Cameraria ohridella which is an invasive pest of chestnuts. Entomological and mycological studies ...were conducted using standard methods . The study determined the species composition, occurrence index and quantitative indicators of the micromycetes present in the leaf tissues of Aesculus hippocastanum and Cameraria ohridella caterpillars. 135 samples of the caterpillars of three generations of the insects, the mines and the healthy plant leaves collected at the permanent observation points in Saratov city (Astrakhanskaya St., Bolshaya Sadovaya St., Naberezhnaya Kosmonavtov St.) were analysed. 18 species of the fungi of the genera Alternaria, Aspergillus, Cladosporium, Fusarium, Penicillium and Rhizopus were identified. Numerical indicators of fungi ranged from 102 to 105 CFU/g. There was an increase in the quantitative indicators and species diversity of micromycetes during the vegetation period. Aspergillus was the dominant genus of fungi in the first generation of insects, Alternaria dominated in the second generation, and Cladosporium dominated in the third generation. Thus, Ochrid myner can be a natural reservoir of various fungi, including phytopathogenic ones.
