Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitivanje percepcije duhovnosti, duhovne skrbi i kompetencija u pružanju duhovne skrbi studenata sestrinstva. Provedeno je presječno istraživanje u kojem je sudjelovalo 456 ...studenata sestrinstva. Instrumenti istraživanja bili su anketni upitnici: upitnik o općim obilježjima ispitanika, skala ocjena duhovnosti i duhovne skrbi (SSCRS) i skala kompetencija duhovne skrbi (SCCS). Rezultati provedenog istraživanja utvrđuju da postoji visoka razina percepcije duhovnosti i duhovne skrbi te kompetencija duhovne skrbi kod studenata sestrinstva. S obzirom na opća obilježja ispitanika pokazuje se da postoje razlike prema spolu, dobi, završenoj srednjoj školi, radnom iskustvu, vjerskoj pripadnosti, prakticiranju vjere, osposobljenosti za utvrđivanje duhovnih potreba. Rezultati regresijske analize pokazuju da su duhovnost i duhovna skrb značajni prediktori kompetencija duhovne skrbi.
The objectives of this cross-sectional study were to research nursing students’ the perceptions of spirituality, spiritual care, and spiritual care competencies in providing spiritual care. Respondents were 456 nursing students. Study instruments were: a questionnaire on the general characteristics of the respondents, Spirituality and Spiritual Care Rating Scale (SSCRS), and Spiritual Care Competency Scale (SCCS). The results showed a high level of perception of spirituality, spiritual care, and spiritual care competency in nursing students. There are differences according to gender, age, high school education, work experience, religious affiliation, religious practice, competence in spiritual care assessment. The results of the regression analysis showed that spirituality and spiritual care are significant predictors of spiritual care competencies.
Fra Bono Shagi is one of the contemporary Catholic theologians who, although they did not pursue an academic career, made an important contribution to theological science. His writing activity was ...focused on the analysis of current ecclesial-pastoral practice and the situation in society. The dominant point of view from which he observed them was of a spiritual nature: he questioned how much current pastoral practice builds more mature persons and better communities. In this sense, he published a textbook for a two-year programme of the general education section at the "Institute of Christian Spirituality", where he taught for ten years, under the significant title: "Pastoral care as a place and space of spiritual growth." Considering the fact that he held the Council's emphases and guidelines to be providential for the modern reform of the Church and its pastoral engagement, in his reflections he offered numerous encouragements on how to better implement them in ecclesial pastoral care for the good of the Church and society
U radu se induktivno-statističkom metodom analizira proštenjarska knjiga svetišta Majke Božje Remetske iz 2012. godine, u koju su hodočasnici zapisivali svoje prošnje, zapise i osobne dojmove. ...Statistički su obrađeni identifikacijski podatci, statistika spola, preferirane molitvene forme, motivi prošnja i zahvala, dominantnimarijanski naslovi, molitva pojedinim svetcima te zavjetni zapisi. Na svaki od statističkih podataka slijedio je osobni kritički osvrt što je učinjeno i u samom zaključku. Svrha je ovakvih istraživanja pastoralne naravi. Naime, na osnovi tih istraživanja može se uočiti činjenično duhovno stanje hodočasnika, njihovi motivi, pozitivne vrline na kojima treba dalje graditi, kao i manjkavosti u izboru prioriteta, što bi valjalo postupno ispravljati kroz pastoralni rad u svetištu. Budući da proštenjarska knjiga pripada točno određenom svetištu, valjalo se osvrnuti i na samu povijest svetišta, koje je tijekom povijesti mijenjalo svoje čuvare: od pavlina, dijecezanskih svećenika pa danas karmelićana. Jedno je od glavnih obilježja svetišta što hodočasnici većinom dolaze pojedinačno a manje u organiziranim skupinama. Danas su Remete sastavni dio Zagreba iz kojega i dolaze najveći broj proštenjara hodočasnika te postupno postaje najposjećenije marijansko svetište u gradu.
The paper uses the inductive-statistical method to analyse the pilgrimage and intercession records of the sanctuary of our Lady of Remete (Mother of God of Remete – Zagreb) from 2012, in which pilgrims wrote down their prayers, records and personal impressions. Identification data, gender statistics, preferred forms of prayer, motifs of supplication and thanksgiving, dominant Marian titles, prayer to individual saints and votive records were statistically processed. Each of the statistical data was followed by a personal critical review, which was also done in the conclusion itself. The purpose of such research is of a pastoral nature. Namely, on the basis of these researches, it is possible to observe the factual spiritual state of the pilgrims, their motives, positive virtues that should be further built on, as well as deficiencies in the choice of priorities, which should be gradually corrected through pastoral work in the sanctuary. Since the book belongs to the specific sanctuary, it was necessary to look back at the history of the sanctuary itself, which changed its guardians throughout history: from Paulines, diocesan priests, and today Carmelites. One of the main features of the sanctuary is that pilgrims mostly come individually and less often in organized groups. Today, Remete is an integral part of Zagreb, from where the largest number of pilgrims come, and it is gradually becoming the most visited Marian sanctuary in the city.
The author presents some of the tendencies in contemporary spirituality that in the light of the experience and doctrine of the first woman Doctor of the Church, are refined and directed in order to ...avoid one-sidedness and error. The spirituality of communion, which rightly aims to set the Mystical Body of Christ and the neighbor in the foreground, thus freeing a man of egotistical narcissism, must not thereby eliminate the need for interior hygiene and building up a personal relationship with God and one’s own identity. Joy is one of fundamental elements of Christianity, therefore a certain level of enthusiasm, if it is primarily a theological and not just
psychological reality, should also be a normal thing. As such, it includes a freedom of
the spirit, a condition in which a person free from excessive worry about whether or not they possess internal consolation is focused on the essential: in all things, to please God Who loves them. Teresa, herself endowed with many extraordinary mystical phenomena, offers healthy and valid criteria for identical contemporary experiences, as well. Her proposal on the need for a dialogue between theological and spiritualistic currents, as well as the importance of the spiritual gift of teaching can serve as a signpost even today, and it finds its confirmation in the tendencies of contemporary theology.
The author believes that the justified conciliar emphasis on the centrality of the liturgy for the spiritual life of the faithful is often understood in an exclusive manner, which is one of the ...reasons for the decline of interest for individual prayer and even more so for asceticism in contemporary ecclesial context. He elaborates the given topic on the basis of the teachings of three Carmelite Doctors of the Church. More space is given to St. Theresa of Avila in the discourse on prayer, while in the development of asceticism greater attention is given to St. John of the Cross and St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Both themes are presented through four perspectives: theologal,
absolute, dynamic and the perspective of adjustment. Central importance is given to the theologal perspective, because all the others in a certain way proceed from it as logical consequences.
Naše vrijeme obilježava globalizirana svijest o ugroženosti svakog oblika života na Zemlji. Nalazimo se usred velikih izazova onoga biti čovjek. U tome se zasigurno svi slažemo, ali se razilazimo u ...razumijevanju uzroka i načina kako se nositi s tom antropološko-ekološkom krizom ili ugroženošću. Svi osjećamo da je nešto duboko pogrešno u načinu života koji živimo i u našem odnosu prema stvorenom svijetu. Lice Zemlje strahovito se mijenja pod utjecajem čovjeka, koji je postao sam svoj eksperiment (J. B. Metz). Ta drama metamorfoze ne događa se sama od sebe. Na nju bitno utječe čovjek svojim ponašanjem i djelovanjem na svaki oblik života. Moć tehnike danas nadilazi granice razuma i čovjek je postao nijemi sluga koji više nije u stanju ovladati okvirima života. Globalizirano djelovanje potpomognuto tehničkim dostignućima sve više uzima dominaciju nad ljudskim životom. Ekologija je danas eminentno antropološko pitanje koje svoj odgovor može naći jedino u povratku istini stvorenja koju je Stvoritelj upisao u srce svakog čovjeka. Jedino čovjek posjeduje svijest i moć razuma i odgovornosti kao slika Božja. On je pozvan na odgovoran život i ophođenje prema stvorenoj stvarnosti. U radu se nastoji zahvatiti pojedine momente te osvijetliti dinamiku i procese globalizacije, antropologije i ekologije, koji nam stvaraju osjećaj ugroženosti i straha, nemoći i bijede. Današnja teologija pozvana je prepoznavati znakove vremena i, u tom smislu, pitanje ekologije pokazuje se znakom vremena kao antropološko pitanje. Stoga su teolozi pozvani otkrivati u novim promijenjenim okolnostima onu istinu koja mora ostati nepomućena. Čovjek je slika Božja i njegovo djelovanje otkriva tu sličnost po daru slobode i razuma kako čovjek ne bi potonuo u bezdan svoje slobode kad se odvoji od Stvoritelja. Potrebno je stvarati novu svijest, mentalitet i duh na tragovima transcendentnih vrijednosti, kako bi se čovjeku vratio osjećaj da Zemlja pripada njemu darom Stvoritelja bez prava da je manipulativno i bezobzirno iskorištava i time dovodi u opasnost sam život i njegov opstanak.
Judeo-Christian dialogue is analysed on the basis of one specific person: Edit Stein (1891–1942), a Jew, a philosopher, a convert to Christianity, a Carmelite, who was deported and killed in ...Auschwitz, later proclaimed a saint and a co-patron of Europe in the Catholic Church. Her niece Susanne M. Batzdorff, a staunch Jewish believer and active in Judeo-Christian dialogue, in her book Aunt Edith seeks to challenge in good faith some of her claims that, directly or indirectly, touch on Judeo-Christian dialogue. Referring to the experience and teachings of Edith Stein, the article responds to the disputes in question in the form of a dialogue from her perspective. This approach allows that the dialogue between two related religions that have so much in common does not remain at a strictly theoretical level but extends to the existential level, as well.
