This research is motivated by student cooperation that has not appeared during the learning process in fifth grade students of SD Negri Kleco 1 Surakarta. This study aims to describe the application ...of the TGT type cooperative learning model to improve the cooperation of fifth grade students of SD Negri Kleco 1 Surakarta. the research method used is class action research (PTK). The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negri Kleco 1 Surakarta, totaling 20 students. The data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaire. Data analysis used quantitative analysis of data from pre-cycle results, cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that in pre-cycle observations with an average of 2.0 included sufficient criteria, in cycle I an average value of 2.6 included good criteria and cycle II an average value of 3.3 included very good criteria. And in the results of the questionnaire the level of student cooperation in the pre-cycle, the average student cooperation was 62.4%, included sufficient criteria, increased by 11.6% in cycle I to 74% included good criteria and cycle II increased by 8.8% to 82.8% included very good criteria. The increase in student cooperation from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II shows the success of student cooperation when using the TGT learning model, so the use of the TGT type cooperative learning model can improve student cooperation.
The purpose of this research is to find a solution to the problem of low learning outcomes and the level of student activeness which is 60% still below KKM and has not been completed for fraction ...material. The learning method used is the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type learning model. This research is part of Classroom Action Research (PTK), which uses two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II to assess the application of TGT. Planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting on the learning process are part of each cycle. Students who acted as subjects of grade V students of SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta amounted to 28 students. Data were collected by observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive, qualitative, and comparative. The data shows that the increase in student involvement and learning outcomes can be done by using a cooperative learning model with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) format. grade V SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta the level of student activeness increased by 19.9% in cycle I 68.4% increased in cycle II to 88.3%. The class average score for students in grade V increased along with their learning outcomes in math. In cycle I 59.1 and cycle II 82.5, Regarding learning completeness, the percentage of students who are complete (80%) has been in accordance with the estimated performance indicators. The improvement in learning outcomes occurred because before learning in groups, the teacher presented the roles to each student and emphasized to them the importance of collaborating to achieve a common goal.
This research aims to enhance students' learning outcomes and self-confidence in Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Project Based Learning model in class 4D at SDN Kleco 1 ...Surakarta. The Action Research method is employed, consisting of two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection involves observation, tests, and documentation, utilizing instruments such as test questions, observation sheets, and photo documentation. Data are analyzed descriptively comparatively and validated through triangulation. Learning outcome indicators focus on the cognitive domain, while self-confidence indicators include asking questions, acting without hesitation, trying new things, participating, and feeling comfortable. The research involves 21 students in class 4D. The results indicate an improvement in learning outcomes, from 7 to 18 students achieving competency, and an increase in self-confidence, from 7 to 30 students scoring 4 out of 5 aspects. In conclusion, the implementation of Project Based Learning effectively enhances students' learning outcomes and self-confidence in Pancasila Education.
The level of critical thinking ability in class IV students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta is still low, as evidenced by the results obtained during observations and interviews. This research aims to ...describe the improvement of students' critical thinking abilities in science subjects through Inquiry Based Learning in class IV at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The method used is the Classroom Action Research method which consists of two cycles, with a sample of class IVA students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The instruments used are written test questions, observation and interview sheets, and documentation. The data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaires, as well as data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical techniques. The indicators used include formulating questions, answering questions, reporting observation results, making conclusions, and thinking about alternative answers. Based on the cycles that have been carried out, the results show that the level of students' critical thinking abilities has increased in each cycle. These results indicate that the use of the Inquiry Based Learning method can improve students' critical thinking abilities in science lessons.
Javanese script writing skills among students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta are still relatively low. This is proven by the percentage of student completion of 43%. This research aims to describe the ...improvement of Javanese script writing skills through the Teams Games Tournament model for class VIC students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. This research uses the Classroom Action Research method which consists of two cycles. Each cycle has four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. The research instrument uses test questions, observation sheets, and photo documentation. The data analysis technique uses comparative descriptives. Data validity testing was carried out using triangulation techniques. The indicators in this research are based on indicators of writing integrity, clarity of form and neatness of Javanese script. This research was conducted in the VIC class which consisted of 28 students. The research results showed an increase in Javanese script writing skills in the first and second cycles. In terms of the integrity of Javanese script, there was an increase from 72 to 80; clarity of Javanese script forms increased from 81 to 88; and the neatness of Javanese script writing increased from 67 to 78. So it can be concluded that the application of the TGT model can improve Javanese script writing skills. The TGT model in learning can increase students' concentration and involvement, thereby creating fun learning through games.
This research is motivated by the suboptimal learning process, resulting in low creativity among students, which affects the outcomes of Indonesian language subjects, particularly in poster making. ...The study aims to enhance creativity and learning outcomes in Indonesian language through poster making using project-based learning approach. The method employed is Classroom Action Research with two cycles, encompassing planning, implementation, data collection, and reflection. The research subjects are 27 sixth-grade students at SD N Kleco 1. Data collection is conducted through assessment of poster creativity and learning outcome tests. Through the implementation of Classroom Action Research with project-based learning approach, students' creativity and learning outcomes significantly improve from one cycle to another. Student creativity increases from 40% in the pre-cycle to 57% in cycle I and 81% in cycle II, with the average score rising from 56 in the pre-cycle to 70 in cycle I and 79 in cycle II. The increase in learning outcomes occurred due to students' curiosity about the material which was dominated by projects in learning.
This study aims were to describe: 1) pedagogical competencies mastery of student in Elementary School Teacher Education Department; 2) obstacles of pedagogical competencies faced by informant; 3) ...effort conducted by the informant to overcome the obstacles of pedagogical competencies. This is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, structured interviews and documentation. The results showed that 1) prospective teachers were able to master seven pedagogical of ten competencies, so the informant require to improve three other aspects, that are: curriculum development; implementation of educated learning; and effectively, empathically, and politely communication with students; 2) obstacles faced by informant are they haven’t mastered content material well; lack of creativity in media development; and they haven’t mastered classical management well; 3) efforts that required by the informant are by increasing knowledge about learning materials by finding references from various sources, increasing creativity in media development, and being able to be assertive and be able to reprimand students.
This study was aim to analyse science as a process skill, products/content, and attitudes on students’ book at 4th grade Theme 3 Curriculum 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji penerapan ...hakikat IPA pada buku siswa kelas IV Tema 3 Kurikulum 2013. The design of this study was qualitative with the type of content study research. The data was collected through documentation. Data analysis techniques through reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that scence as a process skill, products/content and attutudes was available on that book, but the aspect of science process skill, science as product and science as hat attitudes was not complete. Science as a product/content found in this book merely on fact, concept, and principle. Science as attitudes found on this book are honest, opend minded, responsible, objective, cooperative, critical thinking, curiosity, careful, discipline, care for environment. Science as a process found of this book are still limited in: observing, classifying, concluding, and communicating.
The rapid flow of globalization can threaten the fading of local cultural values in Indonesia. This can be a challenge for the Indonesian people to choose between maintaining or eliminating the ...existing environmental culture. Therefore, an approach is needed, namely ethnoscience in the learning process. This study aims to describe the ethnoscience of Sedekah Bumi in Bangsri Jepara Village in elementary science material. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenology research design. The subject of this research was village heads and village officials. The data was obtained by observation, interview, and documentation. Data validation was conducted through triangulation. Based on the research results, it is known that ethnoscience learning can be integrated into elementary science learning, as evidenced in every series of almsgiving activities in Bangsri Jepara Village, including ingkang damar murup, colossal dance, shadow puppets, buffalo slaughter, and the penjor festival. Based on the research that has been done, it is concluded that science content is integrated into grade III, IV, and V SD materials. Grade III material that is integrated with the alms of the earth is a change in the form of objects and the benefits of plants for humans. Grade IV material is the style of motion, the relationship between form and function of animal and plant body parts, and light. Grade V materials are heat transfer, human organs, and the classification of animals based on the type of food they eat. Then, in addition to SD material, namely the emulsion in coconut milk and nutrients in the soil in plants. It is hoped that this research will not only be able to integrate the Sedekah Bumi culture with elementary science material but that students can also relate the almsgiving culture with cultural preservation activities
This research was intend to know the implementation of scientific process skills in elementary school of Muhammadiyah 14 Surakarta. It was qualitative research. The subject of this research was ...students on grade IV B. the data was obtained by observation, interview, and documentation. Observation was conducted by observing learning process on subject Science. The interview used to get data of scientific process skill that is planned on subject Science. The documentation that was used was lesson plan an others. Data validation was conducted through triangulation. The results of this research were: teacher has prepared lesson plan that implement science process skill on its learning process, the teacher planned all the basic aspect of science process skills, such as: observing, classifying, measuring, predicting, inferring, and communicating. Along the learning process, the learning process was not conducted as written on learning process. The teacher got some hindrance to implement science process skill such as the minimum understanding of the teacher on science process skill and also teacher’s skill on time and class management.
