Either a bridge or a door, a sea or a wall, the representations aim at grasping the Mediterranean under the sign of binarity. Never has a sea aroused so much interest as this Middle Sea. Oscillating ...between several representations that drain a multitude of concepts, the Mediterranean crystallizes the major oppositions of current societies. Brought on to the big screen, or being the object of the intellectual analysis of authors, the Mediterranean leads one to interrogation and invites to the reflection on life, on the relations between the carriers of the cultures of the two banks and on the future of humanity. This study proposes to analyze the filmic and literary staging of the Mediterranean as a space where binarity is exercised.

Oscillant ...entre plusieurs représentations qui drainent une multitude de concepts, la Méditerranée cristallise les oppositions majeures des sociétés actuelles. Portée au grand écran où, faisant l’objet d’analyse intellectuelle d’auteurs, la Méditerranée force l’interrogation et invite à la réflexion sur la vie, sur les rapports des porteurs de cultures des deux rives et sur le devenir de l’humanité. Cette étude se propose d’analyser les mises en scène filmiques et littéraires de la Méditerranée comme espace où s’exerce la binarité.
Le Chien d’Ulysse de l’Algérien Salim Bachi, aux allures fusionnelles entre Maghreb et Occident, renoue avec l’héritage homérique dans une double perspective intertextuelle et interculturelle. Par sa ...réécriture du mythe d’Ulysse, l’éternel exilé, ce livre revisite cette Algérie de la décennie sanguinaire, dans une double entreprise de remise en question d’un passé douloureux et de tentative de s’en délivrer. Roman polyphonique, de nombreuses voix s’y font entendre qui ont pour corollaire une pluralité d’idées accompagnée d’un éclatement identitaire. Sachant que la problématique identitaire constitue un enjeu central de l’interculturel, Bachi l’investit de ce pouvoir démystificateur de l’ethnocentrisme. Avec la montée des différents discours nationalistes en Algérie, pendant les années 1990, la démarche interculturelle du romancier algérien apparaît comme un ambitieux projet d’élaboration d’un univers perméable au dialogue et à la communication interculturelle par un travail d’écriture qui marque un double désir de soi et de l’autre.

conçu tel un espace de l'écriture libre, est en fait une forme de cette béance au monde, une intertextualité linguistique qui fait que l'espace du roman se mue en un laboratoire qui rend compte de cet état de défiance vis-à-vis de
la doxa. Qu'en est-il de ce plurilinguisme ? Quelle lecture donner à cet éclatement linguistique ? Faut-il l'inscrire dans un rapport dialectique avec la langue d'écriture ?
For some time now, the question of transculturalism has been at the forefront of contemporary concerns. Leaders, politicians, academics, thinkers, educators, and other stakeholders can no longer ...ignore this question or leave it unanswered. Literature remains one of the most effective means of thinking about man, his existence, and the world against the backdrop of on-going geopolitical transformations. The literary production of the new generation of Moroccan writers in French has given new life to Moroccan literature, and we are now witnessing the reinvention of this literature. The new generation Moroccan novel is majestically transcending reductive barriers of regionalism, demonstrating a will to take its place on a universal stage at the centre of the concerns not just of a new society but of the world. Transculturalism is now, increasingly, the problematic at the heart of fictional writings. Reflections about man, about his state of existence, about the dialogue of cultures and civilisations are the major themes of Moroccan literature of the new generation. Through this study, which deals with the francophone Moroccan literary figure Mohamed Leftah, we will focus on Moroccan novels published in French between 1990 and 2010 with the aim of revealing aspects of the renaissance taking place.
Nul doute que la question de l'interculturel est passée depuis quelque temps au premier plan de toutes les préoccupations. Hommes d'État, politiciens, universitaires, penseurs, éducateurs, aucun acteur social ne peut plus l'ignorer ni la laisser sans réponse. Quant à la littérature, elle reste l'un des moyens les plus efficaces pour réfléchir sur l'homme, sur son être et sur un monde en pleines mutations géopolitiques. La production littéraire de la nouvelle génération d'écrivains marocains de langue française a donné un nouvel essor à la littérature marocaine. Nous assistons ainsi à un renouveau de cette littérature. Le roman marocain de la nouvelle génération transcende majestueusement les barrières du régionalisme réducteur, il manifeste ostensiblement sa volonté de se situer dans une échelle universelle, au centre des préoccupations de la nouvelle société et du monde. La problématique de l'interculturel prend de plus en plus de la prépondérance au coeur de la création romanesque. Réfléchir sur l'homme, sur son être, sur le dialogue des cultures, et des civilisations sont parmi les grandes orientations du roman marocain de la nouvelle génération. A travers cette étude consacrée à une figure de la littérature marocaine de langue française à savoir Mohamed Leftah nous essayerons de jeter un éclairage que nous espérons efficient sur les aspects nouveaux du roman marocain de langue française publié entre les années 1990 et 2010.
A subject that still fascinates university professors and critics in the literature field of French language from Zagreb and Sub-Saharan Africa is precisely the reason of the use of French language ...as a vector of that literature. Who ventures into this sanctuary of the language, could suffer the fate of Hylas, who enraptured by the Nymphs voices, let himself to be kidnapped. Many writers in French language, from Zagreb and Sub-Saharan Africa, say that this language only serves as a medium of expression, failing to mention, consciously or unconsciously, the fact that a language is rather a mediation of a culture, of a vision of the world and of being in the world.
