Early childhood music education has garnered recognition for its unique contribution to cognitive, emotional, and social development in children. Nevertheless, the industry grapples with numerous ...challenges, including a struggle to adapt traditional educational paradigms to new curriculum reforms, and an excessive emphasis on skill training at the expense of nurturing a love for music and aesthetics in children. To navigate these challenges and explore growth strategies for the early childhood music education industry, we initiated a comprehensive approach that involved distributing surveys to practitioners and parents and engaging experts for insightful discussions. Consequently, we proposed an analytical method based on dynamic social networks in conjunction with Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, collectively referred to as IFS-AHP-SWOT. This integrated methodology synergizes the capabilities of dynamic social networks, IFS, AHP, and SWOT analysis to offer a nuanced perspective on industry development strategies. The findings underscore that institutions within the early childhood music education industry need to adopt a development strategy that leverages their strengths and opportunities to foster sustainable growth. Ultimately, this research aims to provide critical decision-making support for industry practitioners, policymakers, and researchers, contributing significantly to the ongoing discourse on strategic development in the early childhood music education industry.

Glucocorticoids (GCs) have been increasingly reported to have adverse effects on aquatic organisms, but the lack of comprehensive analytical methods for a broad number of GCs has limited the effective management of pollution by these molecules in surface and coastal waters. In this study, we developed an original analytical method for simultaneously monitoring 25 natural GCs, and 43 synthetic GCs (4 hydrocortisone types, 6 acetonide types, 8 betamethasone types, 14 halogenated esters, and 11 labile prodrug esters) in water samples. Of the river samples investigated, 15 natural and 25 synthetic compounds were detected with the concentrations ranging from 0.13 ng/L (11-epitetrahydrocortisol) to 433 ng/L (cortisone) and from 0.05 (clobetasol) to 94 ng/L (prednisolone), respectively. Thirteen natural metabolites of cortisol (CRL) were first detected, and their concentrations were up to 36 times higher than that of CRL. Hydrocortisone-type GCs were the dominant synthetic compounds (≤154 ng/L), followed by halogenated esters (≤81 ng/L), acetonide type GCs (≤57 ng/L), betamethasone type GCs (≤32 ng/L), and labile prodrug esters (≤22 ng/L). Considering the relative potencies for detected GCs compared to dexamethasone, halogenated esters predominantly contributed to the GC activities in the samples. Notably, this is the first report of the halogenated esters 11-oxo fluticasone propionate (OFP) and cloticasone propionate (CTP) in environmental waters. Untreated wastewater is the main source of GCs in the studied waters, and the concentration ratios between natural and synthetic GCs can be used as potential indicators of sewage input. Because of the high detected concentrations and bioactivity potency of halogenated GCs, they are the main contributors to GC activities in the studied waters, and deserved more study in the future.
In this work, a smartphone-based electrochemical detection system was designed and developed for rapid and real-time detection of dopamine (DA). The system included a screen-printed electrode (SPE) ...used as a sensor, a hand-held electrochemical potentiostat and a smart phone with a specially designed app. During the detection period, the SPEs modified with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), chitosan (CS) and graphene (G) were used to convert and amplify the electrochemical reaction signals. The electrochemical potentiostat was used to generate excitation electrical signals and collect the electrical signals converted from the sensor. The smartphone-connected to the detector via Bluetooth-was used to control the detector for tests, further process the uploaded data, and plot graphs in real time. Experimental results showed that the self-designed sensing system could be employed for highly selective detection of DA in the presence of interfering substances such as ascorbic acid (AA) and uric acid (UA). CV was carried out to characterize the electrochemical properties of the modified SPEs and the electrochemical behaviors of DA on the modified SPEs. Finally, according to the analysis of DPV responses of DA, the system could detect DA with a detection sensitivity of 0.52 ± 0.01 μA/μM and a limit of detection of 0.29 μM in the linear range of DA concentrations from 0.05 to 70 μM.
An indoor localization system based on the RSSI-APIT algorithm is designed in this study. Integrated RSSI (received signal strength indication) and non-ranging APIT (approximate perfect ...point-in-triangulation test) localization methods are fused with machine learning in order to improve the accuracy of the indoor localization system. The system focuses on the improvement of preprocessing and localization algorithms. The primary objective of the system is to enhance the preprocessing of the acquired RSSI data and optimize the localization algorithm in order to enhance the precision of the coordinates in the indoor localization system. In order to mitigate the issue of significant fluctuations in RSSI, a technique including the integration of Gaussian filtering and an artificial neural network (ANN) is employed. This approach aims to preprocess the acquired RSSI data, thus reducing the impact of multipath effects. In order to address the issue of low localization accuracy encountered by the conventional APIT localization algorithm during wide-area localization, the RSSI ranging function is incorporated into the APIT localization algorithm. This addition serves to further narrow down the localization area. Consequently, the resulting localization algorithm is referred to as the RSSI-APIT positioning algorithm. Experimental results have demonstrated the successful reduction of inherent localization errors within the system by employing the RSSI-APIT positioning algorithm. The present study aims to investigate the impact of the localization scene and the number of anchors on the RSSI-APIT localization algorithm, with the objective of enhancing the performance of the indoor localization system. The conducted experiments demonstrated that the enhanced system exhibits several advantages. Firstly, it successfully decreased the frequency of anchor calls, resulting in a reduction in the overall operating cost of the system. Additionally, it effectively enhanced the accuracy and stability of the system's localization capabilities. In a complex environment of 100 m
in size, compared with the traditional trilateral localization method and the APIT localization algorithm, the RSSI-APIT localization algorithm reduced the localization error by about 2.9 m and 1.8 m, respectively, and the overall error was controlled within 1.55 m.
Macrophages, an important component of the innate immune response, are a key regulator of intestinal microenvironment homeostasis. These cells essentially contribute to chronic inflammatory diseases ...due to their strong plasticity. As is known, ulcerative colitis (UC), a chronic inflammatory disease, is closely related to immune dysfunction. A growing body of evidence suggests that the macrophage is a promising drug target for modulating the intestinal immune systems and regulating the inflammatory microenvironment, thus alleviating the inflammatory responses in UC. The macrophage-based therapy strategies for UC are still at an emerging stage. The advanced drug delivery systems can improve the macrophage-based therapy. This article will review the molecular mechanisms related to macrophage polarization and the interactions between signaling pathways that regulate the pathogenesis of UC and summarize the macrophage-based nanotherapeutic strategies in UC.

Physical activity or appropriate exercise prevents the development of osteoporosis. However, the exact mechanism remains unclear although it is well accepted that exercise or mechanical loading ...regulates the hormones, cytokines, signaling pathways, and noncoding RNAs in bone. Accumulating evidence has shown that bone is a highly vascularized tissue, and dysregulation of vasculature is associated with many bone diseases such as osteoporosis or osteoarthritis. In addition, exercise or mechanical loading regulates bone vascularization in bone microenvironment via the modulation of angiogenic mediators, which play a crucial role in maintaining skeletal health. This review discusses the effects of exercise and its underlying mechanisms for osteoporosis prevention, as well as an angiogenic and osteogenic coupling in response to exercise.
The future development of new-type urbanization has drawn great attention from both the government and public alike. In this context, the present study had three related research aims. Firstly, it ...sought to predict the urbanization and population dynamics in China at both national and provincial levels for the period of 2015 to 2030. Secondly, on this basis, it sought to examine the spatial variation of urbanization given the predicted national urbaniza- tion rate of 70.12%. Thirdly, it sought to estimate and evaluate the national and provincial demands of investment in the development of new-type urbanization. The main conclusions from this study were as follows： （1） The population size and urbanization rate will reach 1.445 billion and 70.12%, respectively, from 2015 to 2030. （2） The demographic dividend will vanish when the population pressure reaches its maximum. During this period, there will be 70.16 million urban population born. The suburban population that becomes urbanized will be 316.7 million, and thus the net increase in urban population will reach 386 million. （3） Although the urbanization rate of every Chinese province will increase during 2015-2030, it will do so un- equally, while differences in urbanization quality among provinces will also be substantial. In some provinces, moreover, the urbanization quality is not compatible with their eco-social development. （4）A total of 4,105,380 billion yuan is required to fund new-type urbanization and the investment demand for each province varies greatly; for example, Guangdong prov- ince requires the most funding, amounting to approximately 148 times that required by Tibet, the province in least need of funding. In the final part of this study, policy suggestions con- cerning the investment of the new-type urbanization are put forward and discussed.
Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) boost the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in glomerular mesangial cells (GMCs), and thereby play important roles in diabetic nephropathy (DN). ...Sirtuin 1 (Sirt1), a protein deacetylase, is known to markedly protect cells from oxidative stress (OSS) injury. Based on the critical involvements of AGEs and Sirt1 in OSS, Sirt1 is postulated to resist AGEs-induced diabetic renal fibrosis through its antioxidative effects. The current study was designed to explore the inhibitory effect of Sirt1 on the expressions of fibronectin (FN) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) induced by AGEs in GMCs. The molecular mechanism by which Sirt1 promoted the activation of the antioxidative pathway was further investigated. The following findings were obtained: (1) the treatment of GMCs with AGEs decreased Sirt1 levels in terms of protein expression and activity but increased FN and TGF-β1 levels in a dose- and time-dependent manner; (2) resveratrol or Sirt1 overexpression markedly increased Sirt1 levels and reduced FN and TGF-β1 expressions; (3) inhibition of Sirt1 activity further induced the productions of FN and TGF-β1; (4) Sirt1 promoted the nuclear accumulation, DNA binding, and transcriptional activities of Nrf2 and upregulated the expressions of Nrf2 downstream genes, heme oxygenase-1, and superoxide dismutase 1; ROS levels induced by AGEs eventually reduced in a deacetylase-dependent manner; and (5) with the deposition of AGEs in the kidneys, the diabetic rats suffered severe renal dysfunction and high OSS levels; resveratrol treatment evidently diminished the OSS levels, ameliorated renal injury, and prevented the expressions of FN and TGF-β1 in the kidneys of diabetic rats. This work supports a negative role of Sirt1 in AGE-induced overproductions of FN and TGF-β1. The molecular mechanisms that underlie the beneficial effects of Sirt1 on DN correlate well with the activation of the Nrf2/ARE antioxidative pathway.

young seedlings can survive subsequent 200 mM NaCl stress. RNA-seq was performed to analyze the genome-wide transcriptional response under SA conditions. Among 518 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) under SA, 366 up-regulated genes were enriched for cell wall biosynthesis, osmoregulation, oxidative stress, or transcription factors. Seven DEGs participate in the synthesis of lignin and 24 DEGs encode plant cell wall proteins, suggesting the importance of cell wall remodeling under SA. Furthermore, in comparison to non-acclimated salt stress, 228 of 245 DEGs were repressed by acclimated salt stress, including many genes related to ethylene biosynthesis and signaling pathway.
