U radu je analiziran prozni opus Frana Galovića koji obiluje prizorima smrti i ostalim motivima povezanima s njom. Prikazi smrti predstavljeni su kronološki prema godini nastanka djela, ali i ...grupirani i objašnjeni prema stilskim odrednicama. Galović neprekidno mijenja i modificira svoj stav o smrti, a osobito u kasnijim radovima zanima ga i problem onoga što dolazi poslije smrti. Sve to rezultira vrtlogom samoubojstava, danse macabre-a, fascinacije smrću i rušenjem svih barijera te, po nekim istraživačima, njegovim ponajboljim djelima, ali i povezanošću s biografskim elementima. Prikaz smrti i sa smrću povezanih fenomena u manje istraživanom području Galovićeve proze nametnuo nam se stoga kao potreban način tumačenja ovoga pisca.
This paper analyses the prose of Fran Galović, which abounds in death scenes and motifs related to it. The depictions of death are arranged chronologically according to the year of origin, but also grouped and explained according to stylistic determinants. Galović constantly changes and modifies his attitude about death, and especially in later works he is interested in the problem of what comes after death. His thoughts result in a whirlwind of suicides, dance macabre, fascination with death and breaking down all barriers. According to some theorists, those represent his best works, and a connection with biographical elements. The portrayal of death and death-related phenomena in the less researched area of Galović's prose has therefore imposed as a necessary way of interpreting this writer.
Collective memory as a reference theoretical basis is separated into cultural and communicative with the aim of distinguishing the archaic and contemporary understanding of the Old Slavic myth in ...interpersonal and intergenerational communication among residents of Žrnovnica. Research was conducted using a questionnaire on an intentional sample of a total of 50 residents. The results confirm the existence of cultural memory among respondents and a high level of general knowledge about Old Slavic myth. We found no statistically significant differences in the communicative memory of the respondents in relation to age, nor indications of interruption of intergenerational communication on this subject.
Rad istražuje ulogu komunikativnog sjećanja u kontekstu očuvanja kontinuiteta staroslavenskog mita na području Žrnovnice pokraj Splita. Kolektivno sjećanje kao referentna teorijska osnova raščlanjeno je na kulturno i komunikativno s ciljem jasne distinkcije arhaičnog i suvremenog poimanja staroslavenskog mita u interpersonalnoj i međugeneracijskoj komunikaciji. Istraživanje je provedeno pomoću anketnog upitnika na namjernom uzorku od ukupno 50 ispitanika, isključivo stanovnika Žrnovnice. Rezultati istraživanja potvrđuju postojanost kulturnog sjećanja kod ispitanika te visoku razinu općeg znanja o aspektima staroslavenskog mita. Nisu identificirane statistički značajne razlike u komunikativnom sjećanju ispitanika u odnosu na dob, niti ima naznaka o prekidu međugeneracijske komunikacije na ovu temu.
Zdravstvena pismenost podrazumijeva sposobnost razumijevanja i pravilnoga korištenja informacija u svrhu unapređenja vlastitoga zdravlja. Povezanosti zdravstvene pismenosti i zdravstvenoga
stanja ...dobro je poznata i opisana. Praksa nedvojbeno ukazuje na sinkronicitet razine zdravstvene pismenosti, adherencije, zdravstvenih ishoda i zdravlja općenito. Osobe slabije zdravstvene pismenosti
osjećaju duboko ukorijenjeni sram i strah, a to ih dovodi u poziciju povećanoga zdravstvenog rizika. Hrvatska ima dugu tradiciju javnoga zdravstva koja počiva na djelu dr. Andrije Štampara. Danas
nemamo točne podatke o razini zdravstvene pismenosti, ali iz zdravstvenoga stanja nacije i prema
istraživanjima provedenima u susjednim zemljama možemo zaključiti da nije na zadovoljavajućoj
razini (razina zdravstvene pismenosti globalno je oko 50 %) te da poprima razmjere krize. Aktivnosti
i inicijative u svrhu izobrazbe populacije o temama iz zdravstvenoga segmenta stoga su nužne, ali
je jednako važno osvijestiti i pružatelje zdravstvene skrbi, da bi, svjesni razmjera problema, mogli
prilagoditi svoj komunikacijski stil i pristup osobama koje su na osnovnoj razini ili ispod osnovne
razine zdravstvene pismenosti. Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija naglašava da je vrijednost takvih
inicijativa u osnaživanju zajednica i poboljšanju života pojedinaca jer manjak zdravlja dovodi do
usporavanja ekonomskoga i socijalnog razvoja, propadanja postojećih potencijala i iscrpljivanja resursa u svim dijelovima društva.
The paper deals with tattoos of Catholic women from Bosnia and Herzegovina, function of the tattoo from the identity, religious and communication aspect, primarily as a means of non-verbal visual ...communication as well as its contemporary perception. The traditional/religious tattoo on the example of tattooed Catholic women from BiH, which is the subject of this research, represents a conscious bodily modification historically conditioned by the environment and culture. The paper studied perception of traditional/religious tattoos taking into consideration the fact that more than 90% of the population of the Republic of Croatia are declared believers and whether a person with a tattooed religious symbol is a believer, or whether that person is perceived as a believer because of a tattooed religious symbol/sign. The paper also discusses the possibility of traditional tattoos contribution to the process of new evangelization. The research was conducted on a sample of 310 respondents, and the aim of the research is to determine the perception of religious/traditional tattoos, i.e. whether they are influenced by sociodemographic characteristics, whether it is generally acceptable or declared believers have a more positive attitude and can the traditional tattoo be a communication symbol of declared believers.

This paper discusses the key political, anthropological and socio-cultural functions of political myths in the appearance and functioning of totalitarian regimes. A special emphasis is put on ...structural elements of the myth (mythemes) and the mythic content (narratives) in the processes of artificial construction of a new society (community) based on the myth-inspired ideological postulates. The paper argues that the establishment of totalitarianism marked a certain anthropological devolution. This devolution, in turn, proceeds through the deconstruction of civil society as an organic social sphere and the artificial construction of a new political community based on ideological postulates and political myths. In support of this assertion, it is first shown how the mythical narratives--transformed into political concepts and programs--were the basis of (re)interpretation of the world, society and individual, and essentially determined the nature and functioning of the totalitarian regimes. Then, the specific political myths are analyzed and compared, as well as their content and origin, and particularly their dual function. It in turn is analyzed in the framework of the classical society-community dichotomy, where the (civil) society is founded socio-politically on the social contract, and the (political) community socio-anthropologically on political myth. In a situation of identity and legitimacy crisis, anomie and the weakening of social cohesion--the characteristic conditions of the great economic and political crisis of the early twentieth century that enabled the emergence of totalitarianism--society as a contracting community does not work. A strong need for meaning (at the individual and societal level) affects the citizens' susceptibility to (political) concepts of (re)constitution of (political) community with which they can identify. Right there, totalitarian movements use the cohesive power of the political myth that replaces the rationally based constitution of society, and becomes a means of ideological mystification and political manipulation. Affecting the mind of the citizens, it moves their feelings and motivations and directs their behavior toward the goals of the totalitarian political power. Recent iterations of totalitarianism (Great-Serbian aggression), with the same tragic consequences, were a warning on the actuality of political myths and the danger of a resurgence of totalitarian tendencies.
Vast majority of visual anthropologists of the 20th century were more focused on general phenomenology of visual anthropology, i.e. the content aspect of their works and their impact on scientific ...knowledge, leaving behind style of directing and practical principles & processes of creating anthropological film. So far, judging by the available literature, there are no strict guidelines for directorial procedures, nor the precise definition of determining of the methodical processes in production of an anthropological film. Consequently, the goal of this study is to determine the structure and forms of methodical processes as well as to define the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. By using adequate guidelines, the researcher, i.e. the author of the anthropological film, can optimize the production and post-production processes as soon as in preparation (preproduction) period of working on the film, by the technical choice of the approach to the production (proactive/reactive/subjective/objective...) and by defining the style of directing. In other words, it ultimately means more relevant scientific research result with less time and resources.

The content analysis and analyze of used terminology by online users will show us which term is ...the most used between frequently used terms such are: online, electronic, Web, Internet, digital, virtual and cyber museums. This scientific paper suggests that online users don't differ mentioned terms while they search for museums on Web. Using the appropriate 'prefix" in order to better describe the typology of a museum on the Web is the first step in designing the future of the museums and certainly encourages serious approach in to the study of the new museum "entities".
Rad tematizira tetovažu žena katolkinja iz Bosne i Hercegovine, funkciju tetovaže s identitetskoga, vjerskoga i komunikacijskoga aspekta, prvenstveno kao sredstva neverbalne vizualne komunikacije, te ...njezinu suvremenu percepciju. Tradicijska/vjerska tetovaža na primjeru tetoviranih žena katolkinja iz BiH, na koju se odnosi istraživanje, predstavlja svjesnu tjelesnu modifikaciju koja je povijesno uvjetovana okolinom i kulturom. Istražena je percepcija tradicijske/vjerske tetovaže s obzirom na činjenicu da se više od 90 % stanovnika Republike Hrvatske deklariralo kao vjernici te je istraženo je li osoba s tetoviranim vjerskim simbolom i vjernik, odnosno je li ta osoba percipirana kao vjernik zbog tetovirana vjerskog simbola/znaka. Rad tematizira i mogućnost doprinosa tradicijske tetovaže procesu nove evangelizacije. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 310 ispitanika, a ciljevi su: utvrditi percepciju vjerske/tradicijske tetovaže, odnosno utječu li na nju sociodemografske značajke, je li opće prihvatljiva ili deklarirani vjernici imaju pozitivniji stav te može li biti komunikacijski simbol deklariranih vjernika.
