Mobile crowdsensing is an emerging paradigm that selects users to complete sensing tasks. Recently, mobile vehicles are adopted to perform sensing data collection tasks in the urban city due to their ...ubiquity and mobility. In this article, we study how mobile vehicles can be optimally selected in order to collect maximum data from the urban environment in a future period of tens of minutes. We formulate the recruitment of vehicles as a maximum data limited budget problem. The application scenario is generalized to a realistic online setting where vehicles are continuously moving in real-time and the data center decides to recruit a set of vehicles immediately. A deep learning-based scheme through mobile vehicles (DLMV) is proposed to collect sensing data in the urban environment. We first propose a deep learning-based offline algorithm to predict vehicle mobility in a future time period. Furthermore, we propose a greedy online algorithm to recruit a subset of vehicles with a limited budget for the NP-Complete problem. Extensive experimental evaluations are conducted on the real mobility dataset in Rome. The results have not only verified the efficiency of our proposed solution but also validated that DLMV can improve the quantity of collected sensing data compared with other algorithms.
Infrared small target detection from complex backgrounds is increasingly vital for military and civilian fields. Nonetheless, most of the existing methods are too restrictive to portray infrared ...targets from multidimensional and omnidirectional. In this article, we propose a low-rank differential cascade network (LDCNet) to integrate the physical properties and deep cascade features of infrared images. First, the cascade feature extraction module is designed via a multilevel coplanar cascade encoder-decoder structure, which integrates the deep-level and low-level features of infrared targets and backgrounds. Then, to provide a better understanding of the context capture of the scene, the differential attention mechanism based on the change differential analysis and robust principal component analysis is introduced. Finally, the multilevel feature fusion module is designed to adaptively integrate the spatial and semantic information of different depth feature maps to predict the final detection result. During the research, a new maritime small targets detection dataset is also constructed. Experimental results compared with other related methods on three datasets have demonstrated the effectiveness of LDCNet.

Background
Proximal region of chromosome 15 long arm is rich in duplicons that, define five breakpoints (BP) for 15q rearrangements. 15q11.2 microdeletion has been previously associated with ...developmental delay, mental retardation, epilepsy, autism, schizophrenia and congenital heart defects. The literature on this microdeletion is extensive and confusing, which is a challenge for genetic counselling.
Case presentation
We have performed prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling of a paternally inherited 15q11.2 microdeletion. In this family, father with normal phenotype and fetus with abnormal phenotype have the same microdeletion.
Conclusion
Chromosomal microdeletions and microduplications are difficult to detect by conventional cytogenetics, combination of prenatal ultrasound, karyotype analysis, CMA and genetic counseling is helpful for the prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal microdeletions/microduplications.
The fetal adrenal gland is a highly vascularized organs and develops two recognizable distinct zones in uetro, inner fetal zone (FZ) and outer definitive zone (DZ). Based on the region supplied, ...middle adrenal artery (MAA) mainly contribute to FZ while inferior adrenal artery (IAA) mainly to the inferior part of DZ. The purpose of this study was to establish reference ranges of adrenal artery Doppler indices of IAA and MAA, and assess zonal difference of blood supply to fetal adrenal gland.
The pulsatility index (PI), resistance index (RI), and systolic:diastolic ratio (S/D) of the IAA and MAA were obtained serially at 4-week intervals in normal fetuses. The MAA and IAA were referred based on the course and location in the gland: IAA referring the artery that mainly branches from the renal artery and walks along the renal upper pole, distributing the inferoposterior part of DZ in the adrenal gland while MAA as arterial blood flowing along the single central adrenal vein in the medial part of the gland. Multilevel modeling was performed to establish the gestational age-associated reference ranges for IAA and MAA. Differences in Doppler indices between the IAA and MAA were assessed.
One hundred sixty-eight fetuses with 843 observations were included. The IAA had a higher detection rate than the MAA (100% vs 89.2%, p < 0.05). The resistance of IAA had a reduction around 35 weeks of gestation and that of MAA remained unchanged throughout the second half of pregnancy. Lower PI, RI and S/D were observed in the MAA than in the IAA (p < 0.05) from 752 paired measurements.
There is a zonal difference in blood supply in favor of the fetal zone, which may correspond to its unique function. Reference ranges of Doppler parameters in adrenal artery maybe beneficial for further evaluation of fetal hemodynamics.
Background
We previously reported that the administration of 14‐day standard triple therapy (TT), sequential therapy (ST), bismuth‐based quadruple therapy (BT), and concomitant therapy (CT) as the ...first‐line therapy for Helicobacter pylori infection in Chinese children achieved eradication rates of 74.1%, 69.5%, 89.8%, and 84.6%, respectively. In this follow‐up study, we further evaluated the short‐ and long‐term effects of the four regimens on the gut microbiota in these children.
Methods
We prospectively recruited treatment‐naïve children with H. pylori infection. Fecal samples were collected at week 0, 2, 6, and 52, and alterations in the gut microbiota were analyzed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing.
Results
Sixty‐three patients participated in this study (16 with TT, 15 with ST, 16 with BT and 16 with CT). At week 2, the alpha diversity (Shannon and Chao 1 index) was significantly reduced in the TT (p = 0.008, p < 0.001), ST (p < 0.001, p < 0.001), BT (p < 0.001, p < 0.001) and CT groups (p < 0.001, p < 0.001). Some changes persisted in the ST, BT, and CT groups at week 6, and all were restored (expect p = 0.02 with Chao 1 index in the CT group) at week 52. The beta diversity was significantly changed in the BT (p = 0.001) and CT groups (p = 0.001) 2 weeks post‐eradication and restored 1 year after therapy. Immediately after therapy, the relative abundance of Proteobacteria was strikingly increased in the ST (p = 0.005), BT (p < 0.001) and CT groups (p < 0.001), and the genus‐level analysis showed that the abundances of 23.1%, 43.3%, 78.6%, and 78% of the bacterial genera in the TT, ST, BT, and CT groups were significantly changed. All these changes returned to almost the pre‐eradication level 1 year post‐eradication.
Conclusion
Eradication of H. pylori infection can lead to transient dysbiosis of gut microbiota, and these changes almost recovered 1 year post‐eradication, which indicates the long‐term safety of H. pylori therapy.
Although the thin endometrium (TE) has been widely recognized as a critical factor in implantation failure, the contribution of miRNA-mRNA regulatory network to the development of disease etiology ...remains to be further elucidated. This study performed an integrative analysis of the miRNA-mRNA expression profiles in the thin and adjacent normal endometrium of eight patients with intrauterine adhesion to construct the transcriptomic regulatory networks. A total of 1,093 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and 72 differentially expressed miRNAs (DEMs) were identified in the thin adhesive endometrium of the TE group compared with the control adjacent normal endometrial cells. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses showed that the DEGs and the target genes of DEM were significantly enriched in angiogenesis, cell growth regulation, and Wnt signaling pathway. Multiple hub genes (CAV1, MET, MAL2, has-mir-138, ARHGAP6, CLIC4, RRAS, AGFG1, has-mir-200, and has-mir-429) were identified by constructing the miRNA-mRNA regulatory networks. Furthermore, a miRNA-mRNA pathway function analysis was conducted, and the hub genes were enriched in the FoxO signaling pathway, cell growth regulation, inflammatory response regulation, and regulation of autophagy pathways. Our study is the first to perform integrated mRNA-seq and miRNA-seq analyses in the thin adhesive endometrium and the control adjacent normal endometrial cells. This study provides new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the formation of thin endometrium.
Background
Exposure to high ergonomic risk resulted in an increasing prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders among dental professional. However, little is known about the high exposure risk impact on ...work ability among dental professionals.
Objective
We conducted a cross‐sectional study to examine the association between ergonomic risk exposure and work ability among young dental professionals in their early careers.
Methods
A total of 230 dental professionals including dentists, dental assistants, and nurses were clustered sampled from three hospitals in Guangzhou, south of China. We used the Quick Ergonomic Check (QEC) to assess participants' ergonomic risk exposure and Work Ability Index (WAI) to evaluate their work ability. Demographics and other factors related with WAI were also included in the data collection. Multiple linear regression was applied to analyze the association between ergonomic exposure scores and WAI.
Results
A total of 218 participants (94.8%) had valid data and consent forms. The participants' average WAI was 39.6, of which the poor and moderate WAI composed 31%. High and very high ergonomic risk exposure level was 45.9% for the neck and 21.1% for the wrist/hand. In general, WAI decreased with higher ergonomic exposure level. With adjustment of other potential risk factors, the ergonomic scores for wrist/hand and total scores for the whole body were significantly associated with the decreased WAI.
Conclusion
High ergonomic risk exposure might risk in reducing work ability among young dental professionals. Intervention measures toward ergonomic risk should be taken to prevent WAI from decreasing in their early careers.
Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic neurological diseases that adversely impact the quality of life of patients and their families. The "Quality of Life of Childhood Epilepsy Questionnaire" ...(hereinafter referred to as "QOLCE-16") is a 16-item measure that was designed to assess health-related quality of life (HRQOL) among children with epilepsy. The purpose of the study was to translate and evaluate the psychometric properties of the QOLCE-16.
The 10 steps of Principles of Good Practices for translation and cultural adaptation of measures were adopted to translate the QOLCE-16 into Chinese. After that, item analysis, floor effect and ceiling effect, internal consistency, test-retest reliabilities, content validity and construct validity were conducted to test its applicability in children with epilepsy in China. A total of 435 native Chinese-speaking parents with children who had epilepsy from one children's hospital were invited to take part in the study, including a cognitive interview sample of 5 and a validation sample of 430.
A total of 414 objects were enrolled in our study for psychometric testing. The results of the item analysis revealed QOLCE-16-C to have good discrimination, the floor effect and ceiling effect were 0.2% and 1.0% respectively, and each item was significantly related to the total scale (P < 0.001). The Cronbach's α value was 0.938 and the test-retest reliability was 0.724. For validity, results showed that the QOLCE-16-C had good content validity. Exploratory factor analysis indicated it was reasonable that the QOLCE-16-C consists of four dimensions after rotation. Confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated good construct validity (χ
/df = 1.698, GFI = 0.913, CFI = 0.974, RMSEA = 0.058).
The Chinese version of QOLCE-16-C appears to be a culturally appropriate, valid and reliable tool to assess the health-related quality of life of children with epilepsy in China.
Objective
This study aimed to investigate the clinical significance of serum S100 calcium-binding protein A12 (S100A12) concentrations in patients with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP).
Methods
...This was a case–control study. We selected 120 patients with CAP treated in Xichang People’s Hospital from January to June 2022 as the case group. Sixty healthy adults without a history of basic diseases were selected as the control group. The patients in the case group were divided into the low S100A12 and high S100A12 subgroups. Serum S100A12, C-reactive protein (CRP), and procalcitonin (PCT) concentrations, the leukocyte count, and other study parameters were compared.
Results
Serum S100A12, CRP, and PCT concentrations and the leukocyte count were higher in the case group than in the control group. The baseline confusion, urea, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and age ≥ 65 score, baseline pneumonia severity index score, and 30-day mortality rate were higher in the high S100A12 subgroup than in the low S100A12 subgroup. Serum CRP and PCT concentrations and the leukocyte count were higher in the high S100A12 subgroup than in the low S100A12 subgroup.
Conclusion
Patients with high serum S100A12 concentrations have more severe CAP, a more serious inflammatory reaction, and higher 30-day mortality.
