Provided here are the results of calculations of tagging jet identification in the process of Higgs boson production via the mechanism of coalescence of vector bosons with subsequent decay into ...τ-leptons (VBF

The calculations were conducted under conditions of a great number (140) of additionally superposable pp-interactions corresponding to LHC operation mode at high luminosities.
Rare decays of

processes, the potential new physics should be visible not only for the width of the decay but also in the ...differential distributions for the parameters

of the interference of the operators
was calculated. We also consider the dependence of the results from the mass of the s-quark by changing
in the range of 400–600 MeV. The contribution of the interference of the operators
into the width of the decay
in the regions of the phase space considered is equal to 2–3%.
Background and Study Aim. A serious problem when using the play method in training sessions is the regulation of physical activity. For students with poor health, high emotionality of classes and ...intense rivalry between teams can lead to undesirable consequences for health. Purpose of the research: assessment of the effectiveness of the game method to increase the motivation of students to engage in elective disciplines in physical culture and sports.
Material and Methods. The study involved first-year students of Sochi State University (Russia) (n=25), with different experience in physical culture and sports. The training sessions (6 hours a week) lasted two academic semesters (9 months) and included outdoor games. A daily «scan» of the current functional state of the students was carried out by heart rate, express scales («Emotional excitement and physical fatigue» and «Well-being-Activity-Mood»). The indicators of general physical fitness of students were registered. The results were analyzed in Microsoft Excel 2010 computer programs. The significance of the change was determined by the Wilcoxon test using the significance level р£0,05.
Results. The use of a large number of outdoor games and relay games in the classroom contributed to the increase of students' motivation to engage in elective disciplines in physical culture and sports. Which led to almost 100 % of class attendance and improved agility, flexibility and endurance indicators among students (p<0.05). There was a decrease in the indicator in the test «pulling up on a high bar» among young men (p<0.05).
Conclusions. The study showed new prospects for using the game method in the classroom not only with homogeneous groups of students, but also with students with different levels of physical fitness and health. By manipulating the composition of the playing teams, each of the participants was regularly provided with strong and varied emotions. That increased the interest in students attending classes. The use of the «Express-control» system for the current functional state of the trainees (primarily for students with weakened health) ensured prompt correction of the intensity of physical activity.
Abstract
Although a high prevalence of COVID-19-associated pulmonary aspergillosis has been reported, it is still difficult to distinguish between colonization with Aspergillus fumigatus and ...infection. Concomitantly, similarities between severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and hypersensitivity pneumonitis were suggested. The objective of this study was to investigate retrospectively if precipitin assays targeting A. fumigatus could have been useful in the management of SARS-CoV-2 patients hospitalized in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in 2020. SARS-CoV-2 ICU patients were screened for Aspergillus co-infection using biomarkers (galactomannan antigen, qPCR) and culture of respiratory samples (tracheal aspirates and bronchoalveolar lavage). For all these patients, clinical data, ICU characteristics and microbial results were collected. Electrosyneresis assays were performed using commercial A. fumigatus somatic and metabolic antigens. ELISA were performed using in-house A. fumigatus purified antigen and recombinant antigens.
Our study population consisted of 65 predominantly male patients, with a median ICU stay of 22 days, and a global survival rate of 62%. Thirty-five patients had at least one positive marker for Aspergillus species detection. The number of arcs obtained by electrosyneresis using the somatic A. fumigatus antigen was significantly higher for these 35 SARS-CoV-2 ICU patients (P 0.01, Welch's t-test). Our study showed that SARS-CoV-2 ICU patients with a positive marker for Aspergillus species detection more often presented precipitins towards A. fumigatus. Serology assays could be an additional tool to assess the clinical relevance of the Aspergillus species in respiratory samples of SARS-CoV-2 ICU patients.
Lay Summary
This study showed retrospectively that precipitin assays, such as electrosyneresis, could be helpful to distinguish between colonization and infection with Aspergillus fumigatus during the management of severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS CoV-2) patients in an intensive care unit.

A new approach to the determination of the optimum transverse segmentation of the hadron calorimeter using the Higgs boson production process via the vector boson fusion mechanism is considered. ...Monte Carlo simulation results are presented for the hadron calorimeter which will be installed after the modernization of 2023 in the Compact Muon Superdetector collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider of the CERN.
The production of Z bosons associated with jets is measured in Formula omitted collisions at Formula omitted with data recorded with the CMS experiment at the LHC corresponding to an integrated ...luminosity of 36.3 Formula omitted. The multiplicity of jets with transverse momentum Formula omitted is measured for different regions of the Z boson's Formula omitted, from lower than 10 Formula omitted to higher than 100 Formula omitted. The azimuthal correlation Formula omitted between the Z boson and the leading jet, as well as the correlations between the two leading jets are measured in three regions of Formula omitted. The measurements are compared with several predictions at leading and next-to-leading orders, interfaced with parton showers. Predictions based on transverse-momentum dependent parton distributions and corresponding parton showers give a good description of the measurement in the regions where multiple parton interactions and higher jet multiplicities are not important. The effects of multiple parton interactions are shown to be important to correctly describe the measured spectra in the low Formula omitted regions.
