The sorption behavior of the herbicides atrazine, alachlor and trifluralin on four sorbents (two modified organoclays, one model sediment, and one natural sediment) in three water matrices (synthetic ...water, natural groundwater and surface water) was investigated. The influence of the sorbent and water matrix characteristics was elucidated. All adsorption isotherms fitted well with the Freundlich model. Based on the

values, the organically modified bentonite and model sediment proved to be the most effective sorbents for the investigated herbicides. A linear correlation of
K
d
with the total organic carbon (TOC) concentration was found for trifluralin in the synthetic water matrix (
c
0
= 0.01 mg L
−1
). In the case of higher trifluralin concentration and for other tested herbicides at all concentrations the influence of both the sorbent organic matter quality and possible interactions with the mineral phase was indicated. Furthermore, the results showed different influence of the type and the content of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in the water phase on the sorption of all the herbicides, depending on the herbicide concentration and the sorbent applied. It was confirmed that the comparison of sorbent efficiency should be done in native matrix since sorption coefficients vary depending on pollutant concentration, DOC concentration and DOC fraction. This finding is considered to be important for remediation of contaminated sites.

Thephenomenon of the transfer of verbalized operational senses (VOS) is analyzedand is investigated on the basis of the sense theory of thinking, as proposed byTikhomirov (1969, 1984).It is shown that VOS transfer manifests itself in diverse forms. It seems to be dependenton the factors of chess position and the age and skill level of the player.Diverse forms of transferring are associated with a change in separate indices ofVOS volume, structure, depth, and degree of consciousness in a connected position.VOS transfer is found more in skilled than in unskilled chess players; skilledplayers demonstrate selectivity of search in a connected position. VOS transfer isassociated not simply with the repetition and copying of some forecasts, whichgive the direction of search, but also with using and transforming the results ofprevious verbal searches.
Cette thèse a pour but d'améliorer notre compréhension des processus d'altération des roches mafiques silicatées, de la spéciation des éléments et de leur migration dans le milieu boréal (bassin ...versant de la mer Blanche, Nord-Ouest de la Russie). Les objectifs principales du travail sont i) de caractériser et décrire les mécanismes responsables de l'altération chimique et de la formation des minéraux dans la zone subarctique, ii) évaluer le rôle de la lithologie (environnement granitique versus basaltique) dans la spéciation des éléments traces (ET) et la formation des colloïdes organo-minéraux dans les eaux de surface des bassins versants boréaux des hautes latitudes, et iii) révéler la dépendance de la spéciation des ET en fonction du pH de la solution pour prédire des changements éventuels dans la bioaccumulation des éléments dans les eaux naturelles à cause de leur acidification. L'originalité de cette thèse est de combiner, pour la première fois sur les mêmes objets naturels, les techniques physico-chimique, minéralogique et isotopique afin de mieux comprendre les facteurs qui contrôlent les cycles biogéochimiques des éléments dans les régions subarctiques.
The article provides information on the daily need for nutrients and energy value of students in the age category from 7 to 11 years and older. The developed protein-enriched vegetable casseroles are ...products of increased nutritional value. The protein-to-fat ratio in the casseroles ranged from 0.93 to 1.7. The degree of saturation of breakfast with protein in vegetable casseroles for control samples was from 10.22 % to 20 % for the first age group and from 10.22 % to 17.1 % for the second age group. Vegetable casseroles are most often recommended for breakfast or dinner.
Background: it has been suggested that chronic low-grade inflammation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). According to previous studies, it remains ...unclear which cytokines influence the development of this syndrome and whether their increase is associated with the presence of excess weight/obesity or is an independent factor. The aim of our research was to determine the parameters of chronic inflammation in women with PCOS in comparison with healthy women in the normal weight and the overweight subgroups. Methods: This case-control study included 44 patients with PCOS (19 women with a body mass index (BMI) < 25 kg/m² and 25 women with a BMI ≥ 25 kg/m²) and 45 women without symptoms of PCOS (22 women with a BMI < 25 kg/m² and 23 women with a BMI ≥ 25 kg/m²). Thirty-two cytokines were analyzed in the plasma of the participants using Immunology multiplex assay HCYTA-60K-PX48 (Merck Life Science, LLC, Germany). Results: Cytokines: interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1 RA), IL-2, IL-6, IL-17 E, IL-17 A, IL-18, and macrophage inflammatory protein-1 alpha (MIP-1 α) were increased in women with PCOS compared to controls, both in lean and overweight/obese subgroups (p < 0.05). Moreover, only lean women with PCOS had higher levels of IL-1 alpha, IL-4, IL-9, IL-12, IL-13, IL-15, tumor necrosis factor (TNF- α) alpha and beta, soluble CD40 and its ligand (SCD40L), fractalkine (FKN), monocyte-chemotactic protein 3 (MCP-3), and MIP-1 β compared to the control group (p < 0.05). IL-22 was increased in the combined group of women with PCOS (lean and overweight/obese) compared to the control group (p = 0.012). Conclusion: Chronic low-grade inflammation is an independent factor affecting the occurrence of PCOS and does not depend on the presence of excess weight/obesity. For the first time, we obtained data on the increase in such inflammatory parameters as IL-9, MCP-3, and MIP-1α in women with PCOS.

Для снижения ...социального и экономического бремени ожирения и его последствий в Российской Федерации необходимо внедрять социально значимые инициативы по профилактике ожирения и повышению его выявляемости, а также актуализировать современные подходы к лечению этого хронического заболевания с учетом его многофакторного патогенеза, коморбидного фона, риска развития осложнений и инвалидизации пациентов. По результатам проведенных в ходе экспертного совета научных докладов и дискуссии эксперты приняли решения по дальнейшему плану в рамках социально значимых инициатив по профилактике ожирения.
